Lily James is maintaining her silence.
One day after canceling her appearance on the "Today" show, the actress has decided to forgo her appearance on another TV show.
Metro UK said Lily was set to promote "Rebecca," her new film with Armie Hammer, on BBC's "The Graham Norton Show" on Oct. 23. However, she has decided against it.
The cancelations come after Lily was spotted getting romantic while exploring Rome with her "The Pursuit of Love" co-star Dominic West, who has been married to Irish landscape designer Catherine FitzGerald for 10 years. Published pictures showed Dominic caressing Lily's head and kissing her neck. Other images showed them on a shared electric scooter.
Last week, a source told The Daily Mail that Dominic, 50, and Lily, 31, spent two nights in a romantic suite at the Hotel De La Ville, which offers panoramic views of Rome and is close to the famous Spanish steps.
In the photos of Dominic and Lily, he is not wearing his wedding ring, leading many to wonder if he and Catherine had quietly separated. However, that's not the case. Hours after the photos of the alleged tryst were published, Dominic flew home to the United Kingdom. Then, on Oct. 13, he emerged from his house with his wife to show a united front. After he and Catherine kissed for photographers, the actor, still not wearing his wedding band, handed the paparazzi a note signed by the two of them. It read, "Our marriage is strong and we're very much still together."
Amid the drama, Dominic's past quotes have surfaced in which he argued that monogamy is not "natural."
"It's one of those subjects that people have very strong opinions about because everybody is open to it and can experience it. It affects kings as much as it does snails," he told Harper's Bazaar last year. "A lot of people have experienced it and a lot of people fear it. I suppose people suspect that the conventions that we have agreed upon in society, that a man and women can stay together for life or a certain amount of time without cheating, that they're not really staying together based on anything other than how society thinks they should behave."
He added, "It's not the necessarily natural way to be, therefore there will always be adultery and intrigue about it."
As of now, Metro UK says Lily is still set to appear on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon" on Oct. 21.
