Nick Cordero's wife tearfully pleaded for prayers on Wednesday after her husband's health went "downhill."
"Nick has had a bad morning. Unfortunately things are going a little downhill at the moment so I am asking again for all the prayers — mega prayers right now," Amanda Kloots said while filming an emotional Instagram Live video from her car. "Please cheer and please pray for Nick today, and I know that this virus is not going to get him down."
With her voice cracking, she defiantly added, "It's not how his story ends, so just keep us in your thoughts and prayers today. "
Amanda didn't specify what Nick's latest health complication is, but earlier in the day, she said his left lung was having issues getting clear.
"Mega prayers for this special man right now," she wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of the Broadway star. "God continue to grant miracles."
The latest health update comes just eight days after Nick woke up after being unconscious for about six weeks due to Covid-19 complications.
The Tony-nominated actor has struggled with multiple issues since entering the emergency room on March 30. In a lengthy Instagram post earlier this month, Amanda said her husband was intubated on a ventilator on April 1. Just over three weeks later, he had his right leg amputated after dealing with blood clots.
While unconscious, he's also suffered two mini strokes, septic shock and fungus in his lungs, among other things, and he needed a temporary pacemaker to assist his heart.
Last week after he awoke, Amanda noted that her husband was still battling an infection in his lungs but added that his "mental status is looking good."
