Sofia Richie may be totally used to being in the spotlight having grown up with a music legend (Lionel Richie) for a father. But that doesn't mean you can just expect her dive into Scott Disick's reality TV world on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" now that they're a hot item.
As of right now, there are no plans whatsoever for Sofia to join the cast of the E! series, a production-team source revealed to TMZ.
Scott, 34, and Sofia, 19, spend a ton of time together, but he's usually in front of the reality-show cameras when he's around his cute kiddos: Mason, 8, Penelope, 5, and Reign, 3.
Apparently, the lovebirds just aren't at that hang-with-kids point in their relationship yet.
On top of that, Sofia simply doesn't really know the rest of the huge family, including sisters Kim Kardashian West and Khloe Kardashian.
But don't try to pin the casting snub on Scott's ex-girlfriend and baby mama, Kourtney Kardashian. Insiders say that she's not jealous at all and had nothing to do with the decision to leave Sofia out as a new series regular.
It's just that the only times the cameras would be around when Sofia is hanging with Scott are when he's at a club appearance — not when he's spending quality time with his famous family.
The couple was last spotted partying it up in Miami during the Art Basel festivities on Dec. 12, where they reportedly got into a pretty heated argument at the W Hotel. Don't fret though: It seemed like they made up fairly quickly as they were later spotted smooching behind the DJ booth at LIV nightclub into the wee hours of the morning.
Despite a 15-year age difference, Scott and Sofia have been going strong since May, when they were first seen publicly canoodling at the Cannes Film Festival in France.
