Sofia Vergara is aging naturally and gracefully, but the process is far from perfect.
The "Modern Family" actress posed for the cover of Women's Health's annual Naked Issue and said the secret to aging is simply accepting it.
"I'm 45. Even if you want to, at this time in your life, you can't be perfect," she told the mag. "It's not that you hate it, or that you're upset about it, but it is our reality. We're changing. I see it happening to me."
She continued, "I told [my rep], 'I'm going to be 45 years old! Stop putting me in naked things! Let me age with dignity!' People say, 'Oh, you look like you're in your twenties.' Well, it's not true. Our skin is different. I had never thought of the word pore…"
To maintain her perfectly imperfect body, Sofia works out with a trainer three of four times a week, but she admits that exercising is far from her favorite thing.
"It's like torture for me," she said. "I'm in a bad mood two hours before, I'm in a bad mood while I'm doing it, I'm in a bad mood at the end because I have to schedule the next class."
One of the reasons she despises working out is because of her limitations, i.e. her "gigantic boobs."
"I can barely do a pushup," Sofia, who wears a 32DDD, said. "I wish I could be a little more athletic, but when you're born with these gigantic boobs … I've had them since I was 13, and then they got bigger when I was pregnant and had the baby."
Still, despite her disdain for fitness, the actress credits her husband, Joe Manganiello, with motivating her to work out. Plus, she's doesn't have to commute to a gym.
"Joe built a very nice gym in the house," she said, "so I don't have any excuses."
