On Aug. 24, Jennifer Garner shared a hilarious and incredibly sweet Instagram video letting fans know she and her children had just finished watching all nine seasons of "The Office." She got emotional in the clip, which she accidentally filmed in slow motion, and the internet — which is clearly full of fans of the hit NBC comedy — totally understood. And so did a few stars of "The Office."
"My kids and I have spent months piled on the couch working our way through 'How to Behave as Grownups' 🙅🏻♀️, aka #TheOffice. Apparently we are sensitive people—the finale hit us pretty hard. When I realized I'd accidentally shot my farewell testimonial in slo-mo I realized: your Monday might need this, too. 🙈👵🏼😬♥️♥️♥️ #thankyoucastandcrew
#pleasecomeoverweloveyou #icantwithfinales," Jen captioned the video.
Angela Kinsey — who played Angela Martin on the show — took to the comments to tell Jen how much she appreciated the video. "Omg!! @jennifer.garner I am only just seeing this (we had no air conditioning for the day so long story short but I'm only just catching up on things)!! I love this. I love you and your family and just so you know the finale makes me bawl my eyes out too! 😘❤️ 🤗."
Jen responded to Angela, "@angelakinsey As if I didn't know your AC was out, Angela! Please give me some credit! I'm just glad the leaks aren't worse. And I cannot even think about you saying I LOVE HIM to Oscar—but NOT the SENATOR! 😭😭😭😭😭."
Jenna Fischer — who played Pam Beasley on "The Office" and now hosts the "Office Ladies" podcast with Angela — also sent Jen a note in the comments on Instagram. "Oh Lady!! This is the sweetest and most wonderful post!! Sending you lots of love and if you want to start over @angelakinsey and I are re-watching for the podcast. We are in the middle of Season 3 and have major feelings about lots of moments (Art Show, Dwight comforting Pam…😭)," Jenna wrote.
Mindy Kaling, who played Kelly Kapoor on the series and was also a writer and producer, and Clark Duke, who played Clark Green on season 9, took to the comments to send Jen heart emojis.
Other stars also weighed in, with Kimberly Williams-Paisley telling Jen, "Oh my LORD this is the best thing EVER. Thank you. #theofficeforever #slowmobeatsbattlestargalactica." Zoe Saldana chimed in with a string of emojis: "❤️❤️🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🤣." Selma Blair told Jen "You are so lovable," and Julie Benz reacted with a note declaring, "OMG!!! THIS IS AMAZING!!!!! I'm crying too!!"
