Mandy Moore has had quite the varied career in Hollywood over the last two decades! She hit the scene as a teenage pop star, rising through the ranks alongside Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera before transitioning to a successful film career. Nowadays, Mandy's making waves on the small screen on NBC's "This Is Us" while occasionally popping up on the big screen as well. Though it all, we've watched the evolution of Mandy's personal style, from hopping on board with the latest trends to honing in on a new, more mature look. In honor of the star's latest flick, "The Darkest Minds," hitting theaters on Aug. 3, 2018, we're taking a look back at her impressive style transformation from the late '90s to today!

One of Mandy Moore's first red carpet appearances happened at the Billboard Music Awards way back in 1999. The blonde up-and-comer opted for a mock turtleneck in bubblegum pink — just like her pop music! — atop a loud plaid skirt for a memorable, age-appropriate ensemble.

Leather pants screamed "pop star" in the year 2000, so Mandy Moore sported some on a red carpet at an event that April. She paired her trendy pants (with fringe!) with a black tank top and rocked curls and a pink lip for an innocent-meets-edgy vibe.

That denim skirt! That fringed crop top! Mandy Moore arrived at an event in May 2000 in this outfit perfectly suited for the new millennium and some of its major trends, complete with some chunky heels.

Purple pop princess! Mandy Moore went with the regal hue for an appearance at the American Music Awards in January 2001. The "Candy" singer arrived in this violet frock with an asymmetrical hemline and floral appliqués and chose to wear her blonde hair down and curly.

Mandy Moore arrived at the "MTV ICON: Janet Jackson" taping in Los Angeles in March 2001 in an outfit perfect for a 2001 pop star — a hot-pink pair of trousers and a black crop top emblazoned with matching hot-pink stars! Completing her look? A trendy pair of super-pointy pumps.

We're willing to bet a lot of teen girls in the 2000s rocked this combo at some point! Mandy Moore attended the premiere of "Original Sin" in July 2001 wearing the ubiquitous Burberry bag of the era on her shoulder, a sheer black tank top, jeans and another landmark accessory of the period — a super-thick wide belt (not worn within the belt loops).

December 2001 saw Mandy Moore returning to the Billboard Music Awards with an all-new look! The singer ditched her blonde locks for a darker hue and opted for a more grown-up getup as well, rocking this backless, wispy white dress.

In January 2002, Mandy Moore was on hand for the Los Angeles premiere of the film that featured her first starring role, "A Walk to Remember," in January 2002. The star once again adhered to the trends of the time, sporting a ruffly tan minidress with a big, thick belt and clunky gladiator-style sandals.

But the most quintessentially 2000s outfit was yet to come! While attending a Lucky Magazine event in February 2003, Mandy Moore posed in a white T-shirt and blue Juicy Couture sweatpants tucked into Ugg boots.

Back to bubblegum pink! Mandy Moore sported this impossibly shiny strapless pink frock for the premiere of her film "Chasing Liberty" in Los Angeles on Jan. 7, 2004.

A more casual Mandy! Mandy Moore attended the Gen Art Film Festival in New York City in April 2004 in blue jeans. Yep, the star traded in her typical frilly frocks for some denim and a pajama-style yellow top with blue piping. But don't worry, she still kept in touch with her feminine roots by sporting hot-pink heels!

Mandy Moore had a majorly bronze moment in August 2004. For the MTV Video Music Awards that year, the star showed up in a dark golden number, which we can barely distinguish from her equally overdone spray tan. Making matters worse? She'd also dyed her hair a bronze shade. Eek!

Boho beauty! For a Lucky magazine event in Los Angeles in November 2005, Mandy Moore embraced the popular bohemian trend. She wore this off-white, half-sleeved flowy dress, rocking her newly brown hair down and in waves.

December 2006 saw Mandy Moore rocking this beautiful blue frock at a Cartier event. The strapless minidress, which featured a bubble hem that was super on-trend that year, paired perfectly with her silver heels.

Mandy Moore vamped it up at a New York film premiere for the flick "Dedication" in August 2007. The star donned this slinky LBD with tiny straps and opted for a dark lip, which was definitely a new makeup vibe for the typically rosy-hued star.

Mandy Moore stuck with a slinky silhouette at New York Fashion Week in February 2008, experimenting with the massively popular Herve Leger bandeau dress in a dark gray shade.

While stepping out for an event in October 2009, Mandy Moore rocked this patterned, short-sleeved, knee-length red frock. She also showed off a shorter and darker hairdo.

Like a grown-up Disney Princess! For the November 2010 premiere of "Tangled," in which Mandy Moore voiced Rapunzel, the star sported this sweet one-shouldered deep-pink dress. She added an updo and a pair of brown heels to finish the look.

Mandy like we've never seen her! Mandy Moore attended the Academy Awards in February 2011 in her most glamorous look to date — a stunning Monique Lhullier champagne-colored confection complete with a layer of sequins and tulle netting.

Mandy Moore kept things glam at the CFDA Awards in June 2012 with this Lela Rose design. From the short, embellished sleeves to the floor-length skirt and slit, this gown exuded glamour.

Mandy Moore kept things chic and more mature in December 2013 at the Hollywood Reporter Women in Entertainment Breakfast. She buttoned up in a sheer white blouse that showed off a black bra and paired that with a black leather pencil skirl and funky black-and-white heels for a classy yet still edgy look.

Leather lady! Mandy Moore opted for leather once more in April 2014, this time sporting a navy-blue leather minidress with white and metallic heels.

2015 was a quieter year for Mandy Moore. She made very few public appearances, but one in Beverly Hills that September saw her sticking with a more mature style. She once again rocked navy blue, but this time in a frock featuring a white top and navy skirt, and finished off her look with sleek nude heels.

Navy again! Mandy Moore attended the NBC Upfronts in New York City in May 2016 ahead of her career resurgence on "This Is Us" in her signature color — navy blue. The long-sleeved frock fell below the knee and featured sheer lace sleeves.

September 2016 saw more "This Is Us" appearances, which gave Mandy Moore the chance to don this amazing ensemble at Paleyfest in Los Angeles. The actress rocked one of the hottest trends of the season, a two-piece getup, while still sticking with her mature new style. She paired a cropped high-neck lace long-sleeved top with an asymmetrical-hemmed black skirt and swept her hair up in a high bun. She finished things off with red pumps, which added the perfect fun pop of color.

So sophisticated! Mandy Moore arrived at the 2017 Golden Globes in style. The star stepped onto the red carpet in a beautiful black Naeem Khan gown. From the plunging neckline to the fun cape feature, the dress helped usher in Mandy Moore's new ultra-glamorous vibe.

What's more stunning than a black-and-white dress? A black-and-white dress with layers of tiered tulle! Mandy Moore wore the look to the 2017 Primetime Emmy Awards that September, turning heads in a strapless Carolina Herrera confection.

She might be in her 30s now, but that hasn't stopped Mandy Moore from trying out a new trend! At the "This Is Us" FYC event in Los Angeles in May 2018, Mandy donned a Stella McCartney jumpsuit. The one-piece look featuring a brown animal-print pattern and matching peplum jacket was the perfect mix of funky and fun and worked well with her strappy black heels.

Mandy Moore's new favorite style? Animal print! The star stepped out in another animal-print ensemble, this time a long-sleeved dress with a plunging neckline, and paired it with some edgy booties during a YouTube event in Los Angeles in July 2018.
