Jennifer Lawrence has definitely solidified a name for herself in Hollywood, but early on in her career, she worried that simply standing up for herself would unfairly get her on the blacklist. The 27-year-old recalled an instance when an unnamed director was rude to her in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter. "I said, 'That's sick, you can't talk to me like that,' and then I was punished, and I got afraid that I wasn't going to be hired again," she revealed in the mag's Nov. 15 issue. "I was called 'difficult' and a 'nightmare.'" The "Silver Linings Playbook" star, currently the highest-paid actress around, wants to shut down the stigma that speaking up will automatically result in getting the ax. "You need to be able to say, 'This is wrong,' and have somebody do something about it," she added, "instead of saying, 'Oh, it's wrong? Well, you're fired.'" Carrie Underwood 'doing great' after wrist surgery

Just two days after co-hosting the Nov. 8th CMT Awards, Carrie Underwood took a tumble on a set of stairs outside of her Nashville home, which landed her in the operating room with a broken wrist. "I just wanted let everyone know that I'm doing great," the 34-year-old country star tweeted on Nov. 15. "Had surgery on my wrist yesterday & all went well…even though I'll be setting off airport metal detectors from now on." She also gave a special shout out to the doctors, nurses, family and friends who've been taking care of her since the incident. Her retired NHL player beau, Mike Fisher, immediately flew into town to be by her side after the fluke fall, which resulted in the fracture and a few cuts and abrasions, according to Page Six. Last week, Chrissy Teigen's beloved pooch, Puddy, was rushed to the emergency room suffering from heart failure, and it didn't look good at all.
