In the world of celebrity romance, there's bound to be a little drama. With Valentine's Day just around the corner, Wonderwall.com is taking a look back at all the scandalous love triangles that have emerged in Tinseltown… starting with Selena Gomez and The Weeknd. While everyone's been salivating over the news that Selena and her former beau, Justin Bieber, are together again, we can't help but wonder about the timing?! In May 2017, reports emerged that Selena was "head over heels in love" with The Weeknd (real name: (Abel Tesfaye). But in October, shortly after her life-saving kidney transplant, Justin and Selena were spotted together again. Days later, it was revealed that Selena and The Weeknd had ended their 10-month romance. What's extra about it all is that there had been reports that The Weeknd might still have been dating model Bella Hadid when he and Selena first got together — which means their relationship started and ended as a triangle. While Scott Disick was always a bit of a problem child in his relationship with Kourtney Kardashian, the two had weathered so many storms it seemed like nothing could tear them apart. That is, until pictures circulated on the web in July 2015 showing Scott getting cozy with ex-girlfriend Chloe Bartoli. On an episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," audiences got to see Kourtney respond to the images — and it had us all grabbing tissues. On the show, Kourt, who typically keeps her emotions on lock, broke down in tears, saying, "I've worked so hard to keep this family together." Shortly after the revelation, the couple officially split.

In 2009, the golden reputation of former child music star and actress LeAnn Rimes took a serious hit when it was revealed that she cheated on her husband of seven years, Dean Sheremet (seen here), with her "Northern Lights" co-star Eddie Cibrian. LeAnn wasn't the only married one either. At the time of their affair, Eddie was wed to model Brandi Glanville. Brandi, who later became a star on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," has never made her feelings of disgust and betrayal toward LeAnn and Eddie a secret. In 2010, both LeAnn and Eddie divorced their spouses and the following year, married each other.

While no one will ever forget the love triangle between Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, few may remember the other love triangle Angie got herself into when she became the third person in actress Laura Dern and Billy Bob Thornton's romance. Angie and Billy Bob reportedly become "smitten" with one another after co-starring in 1999's "Pushing Tin." The only problem was that Billy Bob was engaged to Laura, who was overseas filming a movie. Without ever breaking up with Laura, Billy Bob married Angelina in a small ceremony on May 5, 2000. Of the relationship, Laura has said, "I left our home to go and make a movie and while I was away, my boyfriend got married and I never heard from him again."

Remember when "Weeds" star Mary-Louise Parker was seven months pregnant with Billy Crudup's child back in 2003? Mary-Louise and Billy had been a solid couple for eight years and by all accounts were ecstatic about each other and their pending arrival. Then, Billy (who was 35 at the time) did the unthinkable and left his long-term girlfriend for his "Stage Beauty" co-star Claire Danes who, at the time, was only 24. We can't imagine the heartbreak Mary-Louise endured, but in her 2015 memoir "Dear Mr. You," she shared a series of letters to men in her life and one titled "Dear Mr. Cabdriver" seems to address the love triangle. In it she wrote, "I am alone. Look, see? I am pregnant and alone. It hurts to even breathe." Billy remained with Claire for two years before they called it quits too.

This love triangle was messy from the get-go. After two years of dating and a year of engagement, rapper Iggy Azalea and NBA star Nick Young were dunzo — and it had everything to do with another woman. Keonna Green was Nick's high school sweetheart and the mother of his first child. While they'd apparently long been broken up when Nick began dating Iggy, it seems they weren't finished with each other yet. Keonna revealed in 2016 that she was expecting Nick's second child, who was conceived while he was engaged to Iggy. The rapper wasted no time blasting her fiance (whom she also dumped), giving him and Keonna a middle finger when asked by paparazzi what she thought of their baby news.

Before there was Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, or even Blake and Miranda Lambert, there was Blake and his first wife, Kaynette Williams. In 2005, the very married country music star performed on stage with a lesser known Miranda, and from there, the sparks began to fly. Both Blake and Miranda have admitted that they developed feelings for one another after their performance. Just months later, Blake filed for divorce from his wife of two years and began dating Miranda, eventually marrying her in 2011.

Sometimes, love triangles have sharp edges, but that doesn't mean they always sever the bonds between a couple. Such is the case for former Playboy bunny Kendra Wilkinson and her husband, former NFL star Hank Baskett. The couple's five-year marriage was rocked in 2014 when transgender model Ava Sabrina London alleged that Hank had paid her $500 for a sexual encounter that included fondling and other sexual acts — while Kendra was eight months pregnant. Hank denied her claims but Kendra clearly believed the reports as she kicked her husband out of their home. Over the next two years, the couple aggressively worked on their marriage, learning through intensive therapy how to communicate and, according to Kendra, "to forgive." As of 2018, they're still together.

The 2010 demise of Sandra Bullock and Jesse James' five-year marriage was one for the books. Tattoo model Michelle "Bombshell" McGee came forward claiming she'd had an 11-month affair with Jesse. Shortly after her revelation, other women came forward to share their stories of sexual trysts with Jesse, casting a cloud over Sandra's Academy Award win for her work in "The Blind Side" that same year. The couple separated shortly after the allegations surfaced and were officially divorced by 2012.

In 2005, tabloids revealed that Jude Law had engaged in an affair with his children's nanny, Daisy Wright, which occurred while he was engaged to "Alfie" co-star Sienna Miller. Jude was quick to accept responsibility, publicly apologizing to Sienna for his indiscretion. The divorced actor, who shares three kids with first wife, Sadie Frost, reportedly made the first move on the nanny that March while he was filming "All the King's Men." Sienna and Jude broke up but would later reconnect and give their relationship another try. In 2011, after years of being on-again, off-again, the couple officially ended their romance.

Seven months after late-night talk-show host David Letterman married his girlfriend of 20 years, Regina Lasko (who's also the mother of his son, Harry), he admitted, on-air, that he'd engaged in sexual relationships with women who worked for him. Tabloids later revealed the woman at the center of the scandal was actually David's longtime assistant, Stephanie Birkitt. David publicly admitted to the affair after Stephanie's boyfriend, Robert Halderman, discovered the indiscretion and attempted to extort David for $2 million to keep silent. While David shared in later interviews that the affair damaged his marriage, he and Regina were able to move past it and remain together to this day.

Okay, Taylor Swift and Joe Jonas only dated for three months in 2008, but even they managed to have a salacious love triangle that earned Joe two of his very own break-up songs on T-Swift's discography ("Last Kiss" and "Forever and Always"). Here's the scoop: In October of '08, Joe apparently broke up with Taylor on the phone during a 27-second call. (Seriously, Joe?) Almost immediately after the breakup, Joe was seen out and about with a new leading lady, actress Camilla Belle. Because Taylor is Taylor, she also wrote a song directed at Camilla titled "Better Than Revenge," which painted a not-so-pretty picture of the actress. Joe and Camilla dated for a year before calling it quits.

This love triangle is more like a love zig-zag that will definitely make you wince. In 1995, English star Hugh Grant was arrested by LAPD officers on lewd conduct charges with sex worker Divine Brown. The actor, who'd been in a long-term relationship with British model Elizabeth Hurley, apparently picked Divine up in Los Angeles, where he was promoting his newest movie at the time, "Nine Months," and began having sexual relations with her in his car when he was caught by the police. The media got Hugh's mugshot and humiliating arrest story, which made its way to Elizabeth. Amazingly, the couple stayed together for another five years before officially ending their relationship in 2000.

This love triangle is so bananas, you'll think it's actually from an episode of "Dynasty." Alas, it's sadly the true story of how Shania Twain's 15-year marriage to producer Robert "Mutt" Lange came to a bitter end and the incredible love that came from pain. In 2008, Shania learned that her best friend and personal assistant, Marie-Anne Thiebaud (who was also married), was allegedly having an affair with her husband, Mutt. She confronted her former bestie, who denied cheating. However, Marie-Anne's husband, Frederic, reportedly had proof in the form of phone bills and receipts, which he shared with Shania, bringing the truth of the affair to light. Shania and Frederic divorced their spouses and, during the painful ordeal, grew close to one another. Remarkably, in 2011, just a year after Shania and Mutt's divorce was finalized, she and Frederic wed. How's that for a piping-hot plate of revenge?

In 2014, paparazzi caught director Michael Morris (seen here with his wife, Mary McCormack), in a passionate kiss with singer-actress Katharine McPhee, who was also married at the time. Katharine's marriage to first husband Nick Cokas soon ended, but Michael and Mary's union did not.

Just four months after action star-turned-politician Arnold Schwarzenegger ended his run as California's governor in 2011, tabloids revealed that the Austrian actor had a 13-year-old son, Joseph Baena, with a woman who wasn't wife Maria Shriver. In 1997, Arnold had a brief affair with family maid Mildred Baena. Shortly after the story hit the newsstands, Arnold's wife of 21 years left him. The couple officially separated in 2011 but have yet to finalize their divorce.

In September 2012, country music star Jason Aldean was embroiled in a major cheating scandal when photos of him canoodling with former "American Idol" contestant Brittany Kerr appeared online. Jason, who'd been married for 12 years to high school sweetheart Jessica Ussery, the mother of his two daughters, quickly took responsibility for the situation, calling it a "lapse in judgement" fueled by having "too much to drink." For the next seven months, Jason and Jessica attempted to work through the infidelity, but by April 2013, it was clear their relationship was irreparably damaged. Jason filed for divorce and shortly after, publicly began dating Brittany. On March 21, 2015, Jason and Brittany married in a small ceremony in Mexico.

In July 2012, our faith in love was shattered when photos of Kristen Stewart making out with her married "Snow White and the Huntsman" director, Rupert Sanders, appeared on the internet. At the time, Kristen was dating her longtime boyfriend and "Twilight" co-star Robert Pattinson (seen here). The fallout from the news was swift and painful as "Twilight" die-hards unleashed their anger at Kristen for ruining what many felt was a perfect relationship. For a while, it seemed both couples were working toward forgiveness, but in January 2013, Rupert's wife, Liberty Ross, filed for divorce. By May 2013, Robert had also had enough. He moved out of Kristen's Los Angeles home and Robsten was no more.

While few understood the 2005 marriage between 27-year-old Ashton Kutcher and 43-year-old Demi Moore, the couple looked deeply in love, which made us love them together. Then, in 2011, on the night of their sixth wedding anniversary, Ashton literally and figuratively got into some hot water that led to the end of their relationship. Away from his wife, Ashton celebrated his anniversary at San Diego's Hard Rock Hotel where he and two beautiful blondes got into a hot tub together and later allegedly hooked up. Although Ashton denied the reports, one of the woman involved, 22-year-old Sara Leal, shared her version of events with the tabloids and they weren't PG. Ashton and Demi separated shortly after, but Ashton later claimed they were already broken up. In 2015, actor Scott Eastwood shared on "Watch What Happens Live" that he was actually dating Sara when the hot tub scandal happened, and that it ended their relationship as well.

In 2010, "Bones" star David Boreanaz made a public mea culpa when he admitted to cheating on his wife of nine years, Jaime Bergman (seen here). Although David had apparently confessed his infidelity to his wife a year earlier, he decided to take his story to the press after one of the women he cheated with attempted to extort him. While the media latched on to stories alleging that the mistress extorting him was Rachel Uchitel, the same woman involved in the Tiger Woods' cheating scandal, Rachel denied it was her. Although David's wife admitted in 2010 that there was a lot of "hurt and disgust" over the revelation, she also realized that she wanted to fight for her marriage and decided to stay. As of 2018, the couple was still together.

The stormy relationship between Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott began with a love triangle (two, actually), so it wasn't the biggest shock when years into their marriage, reports of Dean cheating on Tori surfaced. A little history first: When Tori and Dean met while filming a made-for-TV movie, they were both already married. The pair reportedly hooked up the first night and just weeks later, left their respective spouses for one another. In late 2013, seven years after the couple married, Dean was caught in a new cheating scandal, this time with a woman named Emily Goodhand. The reports devastated Tori, who opted to share her grief with the world while filming her reality series "True Tori." Although their relationship was touch and go for a few years following the affair, the couple weathered the storm and ultimately managed to stay together.

Former child star and oil empire heir Balthazar Getty was hitting a new stride in his career when he was cast as Tommy on the hit series "Brothers & Sisters" in 2006. Just two years later, however, his name became synonymous with adultery, not acting. That's because photos of the former "Lord of the Flies" star kissing a topless Sienna Miller in Italy surfaced, creating drama at home with Balthazar's wife, Rosetta Getty. According to Balthazar, Rosetta was (understandably) angered by the affair and separated from her husband of eight years. The separation lasted for two long years before Balthazar earned a second chance with his wife. Since then, he has committed himself to being a faithful husband and father to their four children.

They say to keep your friends close and your enemies closer. However, that may not have been the best advice for young actress Debbie Reynolds when it came to husband Eddie Fisher and best friend Elizabeth Taylor. Eddie and Debbie had been married for three years and had two children together by 1958, when Elizabeth's third husband, Mike Todd, died in a plane crash. To comfort their widowed friend, Eddie moved in with Elizabeth (with Debbie's blessing) to "watch over her." A few weeks later, however, Liz and Eddie were traveling together to New York and Debbie realized her marriage was over. Eddie filed for divorce from Debbie shortly after in 1959 and the same year, he wed Elizabeth. When interviewed about the scandal, Elizabeth was asked if she felt bad about stealing Debbie's husband, to which she replied, "I'm not taking anything away from Debbie Reynolds because she never really had it." Ouch. Unbelievably, the two former friends were able to patch things up in their later years and before Liz's death in 2011, they were the closest of pals.

The year was 2000 and Meg Ryan was co-starring in the action thriller "Proof of Life" alongside hunky Australian Russell Crowe. At the time of filming, Meg had been married to Dennis Quaid for 10 years. When news broke that she and Russell were engaged in a steamy off-camera relationship, her marriage to Dennis came to a screeching halt. The couple separated and later divorced and Meg and Russell became an item (although their romance was short-lived). After the dust settled, Meg's reputation as one of Hollywood's golden stars was tarnished. She later, however, claimed that Dennis stepped out on the marriage first. "Dennis was not faithful to me for a very long time, and that was very painful. I found out more about that after I was divorced," she told Insight magazine in 2008.

The youngest celebs on our list to be embroiled in a love triangle are Aaron Carter, Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan. The drama started on Aaron's 13th birthday in 2000 when he and Hilary began dating after meeting on the set of her series "Lizzie McGuire." After two years together, Aaron reportedly "got bored" and decided to add Lindsay, who was at the height of her career, to his dating roster. Hilary was not happy (duh) and ended their relationship, but a year later, found her way back into Aaron's arms. Eventually, Hilary and Aaron called it quits (as did Lindsay and Aaron), but the feud that erupted between the ladies lasted for nearly four years before they called a truce in 2007.
