Amber Heard, Elon Musk are reportedly talking marriage
Are wedding bells ahead for Amber Heard and her maybe-probably boyfriend, Elon Musk? The couple have yet to go public, despite buzz that they may soon confirm their relationship. But that detail doesn't seem to be slowing down the constant churn of the old rumor mill. In a new twist, Amber's dad allegedly told the Italian tabloid Grazia his daughter and her purported billionaire beau are in pre-engagement mode. "Amber and Elon are both very serious about each other. She would love to get married," Amber's father is quoted as saying (via the Daily Mail). "One of the things they want to do is settle down and have a family. They are making plans for that." Amber and Johnny Depp announced their split last May; amid divorce proceedings, she alleged that he abused her multiple times.

Anne Hathaway and her son had a close call on the playground
Here's one aspect of motherhood most celebs don't gush openly about: The part where you're responsible for the kid's mortality. Anne Hathaway was reminded of that responsibility recently when she and her 1-year-old son Jonathan slid down a slide in New York that Anne suspects pre-dated modern engineering feats that protect children. "I took him to a park … and he loves swings," the actress told Jimmy Fallon on "The Tonight Show" on Monday, April 17 (via Us Weekly). "… I noticed all these other kids were coming down the slide, and it looked like an unusual slide. Like, maybe it was built before they had child safety measures in place. It was gorgeous, and I noticed the kids weren't going that fast, so I said, 'OK, I'll bring Johnny on.'" That was maybe not the right call. "I [pulled my] skirt around me, and I put Johnny there, and we are going down the slide, and now the moms are watching. But what I hadn't thought about was physics," Anne said. "So we just go around the corner, and instead of slowing down like the other kids, we speed up. It starts to go so fast, and all the moms are watching, and I'm so self-conscious. As it speeds up, my thoughts slow down, and I just look ahead and I get very serious and very focused and just think, 'I must stick this landing.'" In the end, everybody made it out of the playground alive. "You know, when you almost killed your child, but you didn't. In the inside you're like, 'Everything's OK. Walk it off, walk it off,'" she joked. "Then we went back to the swings and stayed there forever."

Caitlyn Jenner might consider a male companion
In her new memoir, "The Secrets of My Life," Caitlyn Jenner tackles a slew of misconceptions about the process of transitioning and what her life will be like going forward. One major thing the public is getting wrong, she writes, is what transitioning means for her love life. "I don't have the appetite for [sex], which is why the public's obsession over whether I would [get gender confirmation surgery] is annoying to me," she explains, according to People. "It hearkens back to this misperception that people transition because of their sexual desires." She also questions the kind of committed relationship she may be looking for now that she's had gender reassignment surgery. "A future female companion? I think about that. A future female sexual companion? Not happening, at least for now, and perhaps not ever. A future male sexual companion? I have never had the inclination," she wrote. That excerpt, People notes, was completed before Caitlyn's surgery, hence her final thought on the matter: "But maybe that attitude might possibly change if I have the Final Surgery."
