Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney's wedding venue has a weird history
When Jennifer Lawrence walks down the aisle to marry Cooke Maroney in Newport, Rhode Island, as she's expected to do this weekend, she'll be making new, potentially happier memories than the ones the property has hosted in years past. According to People, the rumored venue, Belcourt of Newport, on Aquidneck Island, fell into disrepair after being bought by the Tinney family in 1956. The mansion served as a home for Ruth Tinney and her husband, but when he died, she reportedly got involved with the plumber, Kevin Koellisch, who moved in with her. She was in her 80s at the time and ultimately adopted Kevin, who was in his 30s, according to a local source. He stayed there after she died, living on the third floor and doing little to maintain the property. In the '90s, the venue was still owned by the Tinney family but became infamous for parties like an 800-guest "no underwear" throwdown. From there, the mansion decayed further and became the site of ghost and murder mystery tours, People reports. It wasn't until it was bought in 2012 by a Rhode Island native and restored that it started looking like its present self. "There were energies and entities, some not pleasant," the owner told the Los Angeles Times in 2013. "I had a shaman perform ceremonies. We did a major cleansing, energy-wise. There was a lot of heaviness, but we took care of that. Now the house has a different vibration."

Megyn Kelly is reportedly launching her own video podcast to compete with Bill O'Reilly's
This week, Megyn Kelly returned to her old Fox News stomping grounds for her first televised interview since her controversial exit from NBC. That does not mean she's planning to go back to Fox, though. Page Six reports there's no truth to rumors the former "Today" anchor was making nice with her former network homebase as a means of promoting a new partnership with them. Instead, she's reportedly planning to debut a news production company of her own, according to TV sources, who say she may be "radioactive" to bigger news outlets at this point, given the nature of her NBC ouster, which began when she defended the use of blackface in certain circumstances. In a previous statement, a Fox spokesperson said: "Megyn Kelly's forthcoming guest appearance on 'Tucker Carlson Tonight' was coordinated weeks ago and is a one-time occurrence. Any future programming changes we are considering do not involve her." Megyn is reportedly planning a video podcast that will compete with Bill O'Reilly's "No Spin News." According to the tab, she's aiming to get back to work publicly ahead of the 2020 election. A source says she also plans to "produce documentaries and continue her mission to support victims of sexual harassment." her appearance on Tucker Carlson's Fox show garnered 4 million viewers, giving it the highest ratings of any cable show that day.

Lori Loughlin reportedly wants Felicity Huffman to fill her in on prison
Felicity Huffman reported to federal prison this week to serve a 14-day sentence for her role in the national college admissions scandal. Now, Lori Loughlin, who faces a much harsher sentence after failing to take a plea deal, is looking for an update on Felicity's experience behind bars. A source tells People Lori is "hoping that Felicity's time in prison will go easy for her, because that will be a positive sign that, if Lori has to serve time, that she'll be able to weather it as well." The former "Fuller House" star is said to want a debriefing from Felicity "to find out what it was like and what her advice would be." Felicity pleaded guilty to paying $15,000 to up her daughter's SAT scores, while Lori and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, pleaded not guilty to charges they paid a $500,000 bribe to get their daughters into USC. Eva Mendes recalls pretending not to be in love with Ryan Gosling
Um, yes. Eva Mendes is aware that her partner, Ryan Gosling, is gorgeous. She made that very clear during a chat with Kelly Clarkson this week on the singer's talk show after Kelly showed a photo of Eva and Ryan from 2011, when they were promoting "The Place Beyond the Pines," the film on which they met and fell in love. Looking at the image, Eva joked, "Oh my God, that's so old. That's literally me going, 'I'm not in love with him. What? I'm not in love.' 'Cause we were trying to be very professional," according to People. Kelly clarified that Ryan's got a pretty hot lady on his arm, as well, but Eva, who shares two daughters with the actor, only had eyes for him. She leaned in closer to the pic and told Kelly, "Look at him though …" (As if we weren't already, ahem.)
Kourtney Kardashian doesn't want to date: 'I'm content with just myself'
No dude, no problem. That's Kourtney Kardashian's approach to life after her split from Younes Bendjima in 2018. As she tells her friend Larsa Pippen in a sneak peek clip from the next "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" episode (via UsWeekly), she's not looking for anything romantic right now. "I just feel like I'm in a different place where I just don't feel like I need that. I'm content hanging out with my friends. I just feel like, I'm on a different vibe. I feel so content with just myself," she says in the clip. Larsa, who was divorcing Scottie Pippen when the episode was shot, tells Kourtney she's "such a liar," but Kourtney assures her friend, "I'd rather hang out at the house and be silly and, you know, dance and whatever instead." By the end of the preview, Larsa remains unconvinced. "Trust me, you'll go through, like, 10 more phases in the next, like, three months," she tells Kourtney.
Kaley Cuoco moves on from 'The Big Bang Theory' with 'The Flight Attendant'
In a few weeks, Kaley Cuoco will leave her husband, Karl Cook, and the many (many) pets they share to go to New York City and film her new TV series, "The Flight Attendant." And while she's sad to leave her guy behind — "I've been crying already," she told ET this week — she's also glad to have scheduled a new project so close to the end of "The Big Bang Theory." "I feel good because, I'm knee-deep in 'The Flight Attendant,' which I think is smart. I didn't have time to think about it," she explained. Kaley created the new series and will serve as an executive producer as well as the show's star. "I found this book two and a half years ago, and I wanted to make it, and I thought the material was great," she said. "I [also] think it's really important to start putting our own stamps on things, especially as women, and having our own voice. And I like being the boss. That's it. That's the bottom line."

Prince Harry is 'reminded of the bad stuff' as he reflects on Princess Diana's time in Africa
During his trip to southern Africa with Duchess Meghan, Prince Harry spent time thinking about his mom, who frequently visited the region and has been lauded for her efforts to help clear mines from active landmine fields in Angola. Some of those moments will be featured on "Harry & Meghan: An African Journey," set to air Oct. 23, on ABC. "I think being part of this family — in this role, in this job — every single time I see a camera, every single time I hear a click, every single time I see a flash, it takes me straight back. In that respect, it's the worst reminder of her life as opposed to the best," Harry said in a preview clip excerpted by People this week shortly after announcing he's filed suit against media companies that published private information related to him and his wife. "Being here now 22 years later trying to finish what she started will be incredibly emotional," he continued in the clip, which was shot before he visited the same landmine where his mother famously walked. "But everything that I do reminds me of her. But as I said — with the role, with the job and sort of the pressures that come with that — I get reminded of the bad stuff."
