Here's the scoop on Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney's wedding
Jennifer Lawrence and her fiance, Cooke Maroney, are expected to tie the knot this weekend and according to TMZ, the couple isn't messing around when it comes to ensuring their guests have a great time. The pair will reportedly marry at a luxe venue in Rhode Island before 150 friends and loved ones. Jen, 29, previously said she's been pretty low-key about planning the event, so it may have been her 34-year-old art gallery director fiance who arranged to have wedding planner Mark Seed stage an "elaborate affair" for their big day. Cocktails will reportedly include bourbon old-fashioneds and gin cucumber lavender champagnes, which guests can sip while snacking on hors d'oeuvres including "sweet potato flat cakes, brussels sprouts with cured egg yolk, smoked pork belly with pickled apple and salt cod beignets. Entrees options are slated to include wood-roasted fish with herbs and lemon-infused butter or five-week-aged leg of beef with forager's sauce, according to the website. For dessert, the couple's guests will be treated to fire-baked sourdough bread pudding with chocolate, salted caramel and fresh apple, cauldron fritters with bourbon cream and cinnamon sugar and house-made marshmallow s'mores. Jen and Cooke's engagement news surfaced in early February. "He's just the best person I've ever met in my whole life," she told ET earlier this year, adding that saying "yes" was "a very, very easy decision."

Taylor Swift reveals the most cringe-worthy interview question she gets
Attention, music media: Please stop asking Taylor Swift if she can only write songs about heartbreak. The singer stopped by NPR recently to film a Tiny Desk concert, after which she discussed her album and career with the host. "Over the course of me doing interviews, which is about 15 or 16 years, I've gotten a question over and over again that I think has the potential to seriously deteriorate my mental health," she explained (via the Daily Mail).three years, she said she's been talking to friends about their breakups when she was making what she admits is a pretty positive album. Except for "Death By a Thousand Cuts." That one, she joked, is "proof that I don't have to stop writing songs about heartache and misery, which, for me, was incredible news."
Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling's daughters refuse to change up their Halloween costume each year
Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling are hoping to convince their daughters to add a little fake blood to this year's Halloween costume — if only to mix things up. Speaking to Kelly Clarkson on the singer's talk show on Thursday. Oct. 17, Eva admitted that she's getting a little tired of hearing the same thing from Esmerelda, 5, and Amada, 3, when it comes to picking a costume. "They're constantly dressing up," Eva said, according to E! News. "And our kids are obsessed with 'Wizard of Oz' and Dorothy, so they've been Dorothy every year." Kelly offered that at least it's cheap for them to keep wearing the same thing, but Eva still sounded over it. "Financially great," she said. "We're like, 'Let's, you know, maybe we could do like a bloody Dorothy?' Like, 'I could just put some blood on you or something! 'Cause really? Dorothy again?'" Kelly, meanwhile, has been spending all her "free time" making a DIY Princess in Black costume for her 5-year-old daughter, River., and admitted she was jealous of Eva's situation. "I would love it if she wanted to be Dorothy every Halloween," she joked.

Demi Moore celebrates the success of her memoir with her daughters
Two weeks after Demi Moore's memoir, "Inside Out," topped the New York Times' Bestsellers list, the actress sat down with Harper's Bazaar editor Glenda Bailey for a conversation about the book at New York City's Spring Place. Page Six reports Demi's daughters Rumer and Tallulah Willis supported their mom, cheering for her during the Q&A and book signing, which was followed by a private dinner for attendees. "They seemed very proud of their mother's journey," a source told the tab. Before the dining got underway, Tallulah toasted her mom, saying, "Mommy, I'm so proud of you and everything you've done in the book. Everyone is like, 'It's a whole night of you,' which is so humble … You do it like a champ." Later, Demi shared with guests something she's learned through the many hardships and challenging relationships she delves into in her memoir: "It's not the wins, but in our losses that we gain our depth and insights," she said. "And while it's great to celebrate the wins when they are there — don't overlook them — it's beautiful to equally celebrate the losses. Without them, we don't have the pleasure of really experiencing our wins. And [the book] is definitely a win."
Prince Harry reassures Duchess Meghan about her figure five months after welcoming Archie
Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan attended the WellChild Awards in London earlier this week and while Harry's focus was primarily on the work the group does to support young people with serious health concerns, he was also in awesome-husband mode, according to one little girl. Hello! Magazine checked in with another awards-goer, Eve, who was there with her 10-year-old daughter after she met the royals and she was taken with how supportive Harry was with Meghan (via ET). "They were very lovely," Eve told the magazine. "When [Meghan] sat down I said, 'Oh, you look amazing and you've just had a baby.' [Harry] looked at her and went, 'See, I told you!' In a way that we would… it did feel like they were very down to earth." Meghan and Harry welcomed their first child, Archie, in May.
Robert Pattinson gagged himself to conjure tears for 'The Lighthouse'
Robert Pattinson has a unique way of getting into character when a role calls for extreme emotion — and it freaked out his co-star in "The Lighthouse," Willem Dafoe. "He's not interested in craft, I think," the veteran actor told Mr Porter's The Journal of Rob's approach. "He wants to throw himself into deep water and he feels like it will only be true if he's drowning. Which, for this role, is perfect because that's the state he's going to be in. For me, that seemed wacky. But I'm not trying to judge." Willem added, He has a good sense of the visual, of what's needed in a close-up," he explained. "Sometimes he'd beat himself up so bad. He'd stick his fingers down his throat, things like that." Turns out Rob was essentially pulling the trigger before scenes in which he needed to get teary — which was apparently a lot of the time, given the film's premise ("The Lighthouse" tells the story of a pair of lightkeepers "struggling to maintain their sanity while living on a remote island in New England," according to Page Six). "I would sneak off into a corner and gag, away from Willem. I think everyone feels very emotional when they're throwing up, and it's quite a nice little trick to get there," Rob explained. "He didn't know I was doing it until one scene where I was absolutely forced to do it in close proximity."
Jennifer Aniston shadowed Diane Sawyer, 'GMA' anchors for 'Morning Show' prep
When Jennifer Aniston's new Apple+ series, "The Morning Show" premieres on Nov. 1, viewers might notice something familiar about her character. As Jen told Jimmy Kimmel on Wednesday, Oct. 16, she shadowed the anchors of "Good Morning America" while preparing for the role — particularly, Diane Sawyer, who she says gave her some "good stuff." But it sounds like Jen's interest in Diane goes beyond acting. "I love, I worship her," she told Jimmy (via THR). "If I could emulate anyone it's her." "I got there at 7 o'clock in the morning. And it is a fascinating world. It's like an engine that revs up for these two hours from 5 to 7. …It's like something you've never seen," she said of her time on the "GMA" set with Diane as well as Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos. She went on to reveal women involved with "GMA" continually came up to her with requests about what Jen's show might get into as far as what it's like to work in that environment. "[They said] you've got to tell them this is what happens" and "they don't let us do this," Jen recalled, adding, "it's almost like they're in cages saying 'Get me out of here.'" She did not, however, share the info Diane passed along. "You'll see the show and next time," she told Jimmy, "you can see if you can pick out a Diane-ism."
Leonardo DiCaprio might not have been in "Titanic" were it not for Paul Rudd
It turns out we can thank Paul Rudd for the monster success of "Titanic." Well, sort of. Paul stopped by "The Graham Norton Show" this week and was chatting about his work with Leonardo DiCaprio on 1996's "Romeo + Juliet" when he recalled that Leo had told him he was offered the male lead in "Titanic" and wasn't sure if he would take it. "It was my last day of filming Romeo + Juliet and we all went out to a bar afterwards," Paul said, according to E! News. "I was riding to the place with Leo and he said, 'I just got offered this movie and it's a big movie. It's a studio movie. It's 'Titanic.'" Paul, whose dad was apparently a major Titanic buff, was gung-ho about his pal accepting the part. "I said, 'That's incredible,' and I knew a lot about 'Titanic' because my dad would just talk about it," Paul shared. "And we just had a conversation about it and he was saying, 'Oh, I don't know what I'll do.' And I remember saying, 'You should do it!'"
Scarlett Johansson: Colin Jost 'killed it' with his marriage proposal
Colin Jost gets a gold star in the marriage proposal department! That's according to Scarlett Johansson, who told Ellen DeGeneres this week that her fiance "killed it" when he popped the question. "It was a very James Bond situation. It was surprising. He's got a lot behind that news desk he's hiding," she joked (via ET). "He's very charming and very thoughtful and romantic. I was surprised, even if you imagine what that moment is going to be like, it's still, it's a beautiful moment." Scarlett, who was previously married to Ryan Reynolds and to Romain Dauriac, said she and Colin and discussed getting engaged but that was it. "It was a very special moment," she said, "and I think more than anything, when someone tells you they want to share the rest of their life with you, it's a lovely, special thing." Asked if she knew when the two will tie the knot, Scarlett joked, "I have to clear my schedule first."
