Following her very public romance with and split from Pete Davidson, Ariana Grande declared her album "Thank U, Next" was all about her newfound desire to focus on herself and "heal" some personal demons. Since then, she's been linked to Social House's Mikey Foster, though "multiple" Elle.com sources denied the two were dating last fall. Now, it seems a new "mystery" guy may be in the picture. He was certainly in the picture on Saturday, Feb. 8, when Ariana was filmed kissing said mystery man in a booth at Bar Louie, about an hour northwest of Los Angeles. According to TMZ, which published grainy footage of the pair's PDA moment, Ariana's male pal was part of a group of friends she arrived with around 1 a.m. that night. She reportedly stuck to water while her friends indulged in more adult beverages before they all split about half an hour later.

Beyonce's mom teases Bey's new, art-inspired project

What's Beyonce working on next? Whatever it is, the project apparently involves pieces of art from her mom's collection. In a new interview with WSJ magazine, Tina Knowles-Lawson let it slip that her famous daughter has something new in the works. "My art pieces are like my children," Tina told WSJ (via Complex). "I just lent some of my art pieces to Beyoncé for her new project that she's doing, and I'm looking at my walls and it just makes me sad, because I miss seeing all my babies there." She went on to say: "Art is so important because it inspires us. It is really important to surround your children, growing up African-American, with images of positive reinforcement and not the traditional ideas of what commercials say beauty is. It really makes a difference in your life." She gave no further details about Beyonce's new project. The singer released her new Ivy Park x Adidas collection last month, sending massive boxes of clothing to celeb pals including Reese Witherspoon and Megan Thee Stallion.

New 'do! On the heels of news she's releasing a new beauty line, Selena Gomez showed off an updated hairstyle on Instagram this week. Fans responded to the curly, honey-highlight peppered lob —complete with curly bangs — with plenty of love, as well as a few predictions that a new music video could be in the works given the timing of the singer's new lewk. Selena also shouted out her lips in the pic, though, suggesting the coif might have been inspired by a photo shoot for her "Rare Beauty" line. The line is due out this summer and will be exclusive to Sephora, according to E! News.

Jessica Simpson's book event interrupted by anti-fur protesters

While promoting her new memoir "Open Book," Jessica Simpson's been tackling issues like substance abuse, sexual assault and divorce in public appearances. On Monday, Feb. 10 , while speaking to a crowd in Los Angeles, anti-fur protesters tied to PETA burst into her talk, urging her to consider the "many other choices" at her disposal besides fur, which she's been photographed wearing with some regularity through the years. Rather than ignore the interruption, Jessica acknowledged that she respects their passion — then gently suggested they find a way to express their feelings that does not involve "hatred." After one protester was "removed" from the event, Jessica reportedly said from the stage: "These are the types of moments where you know, when you're trying to speak about helping other people get through their own problems and their life, and when you talk about god, that is when darkness tries to seep in. And I know that God is stronger than that and nothing will hold me back from my calling." Though she was polite, TMZ characterized the vibe of her response as a bit "condescending."

Ava DuVernay to direct, produce Nipsey Hussle documentary

After what Deadline called "an intense bidding war," Netflix has managed to grab rights to a forthcoming documentary about late rapper and social activist Nipsey Hussle, set to be directed by Ava Duvernay. The news comes nearly one year after he was murdered outside his Marathon clothing store in March 2019. The Oscar-nominated "When They See Us" director will also serve as producer on the feature-length film, which will reportedly be a collaborative project with members of Nipsey's family.

Eminem is not big on interviews, but he consented to speak with Variety after his surprise performance of "Lose Yourself," from "8 Mile," at the Oscars over the weekend. So why did it take him nearly two decades to perform the track that ultimately won Best Song at the 2003 ceremony? "Back then, I never even thought that I had a chance to win, and we had just performed 'Lose Yourself' on the Grammys with the Roots a couple of weeks before the Oscars, so we didn't think it was a good idea," he explained on Monday. "And also, back at that time, the younger me didn't really feel like [it was] a show, like, that would understand me." Em also reflected on the night he found he won, admitting it would have been "crazy" to accept an Oscar from Barbra Streisand. "I'm gonna begin with the line –it's not a line, it's the truth," says the "Home Alone" star when asked if people assume he was sexually abused during the time he spent at the King of Pop's home as a child. "He never did anything to me. I never saw him do anything. And especially at this flashpoint in time, I'd have no reason to hold anything back," Macaulay says, referencing the #MeToo movement. "The guy has passed on. If anything — I'm not gonna say it would be stylish or anything like that, but right now is a good time to speak up. And if I had something to speak up about, I would totally do it. But no, I never saw anything." From there, he moves on to "a good Michael Jackson story that doesn't involve Michael Jackson at all," telling the reporter about what happened when he bumped into James Franco on a flight recently. "It was right after the documentary ['Leaving Neverland'] came out," Macaulay recalls. "And he goes, 'So, that documentary!' … I was like, 'Uh-huh.' Silence. So then he goes, 'So what do you think?' January Jones told 'X-Men' trainers she was working out when she was really chilling and watching 'Friends'

You wouldn't have known it from the way she looked as Emma Frost in 2011's "X-Men," but January Jones was definitely into working out at the time. In fact, in the new issue of Shape, she reveals she simply lied about working out to the folks tasked by Marvel with getting her in tip-top shape for the superhero flick. "When I was filming 'X-Men,' they had trainers for all of us," says January, 42. "I would lie and say I was exercising in my hotel room when actually I was watching 'Friends' and having full tea service." These days, she takes exercise more seriously, particularly with regard to strength training. "After I had my son, Xander, I wanted to feel strong … As he got bigger and I was hauling around a 20- or 30-pound toddler, my lower back gave out and I saw my shoulders starting to curl and hunch. I wanted to do something for my posture and core strength," she tells Shape. For the past two or three years, January says she's been into various riffs on barre and Pilates, having taken private Pilates after discovering how much she liked barre classes. "Then a friend told me about Lagree Pilates," she says. "I've been doing it two to four times a week for the past year now, and I've gained weight because I've put on muscle. I've gone up a size in clothes, but I feel like I look better naked." Adds January: "Being strong is important as you get older. I want to look and feel as young as I possibly can." Most recently, January played the mother of an Olympic figure skater in "Spinning Out," a fan-favorite Netflix series that wrestles with mental health issues, cultural stereotypes and more. Milla Jovovich's daughter has a 'bad case of jaundice'

Milla Jovovich is already having a rough time with the newest addition to her family. This week, the model and actress shared on Instagram that her new baby daughter has a "bad case of jaundice." In a long update on Instagram, the 44-year-old mom shared that her other kids are trying to help. "There's nothing sweeter than seeing your children loving each other and appreciating their time together. @dashielanderson can't get enough of 'her sweet little baby' and feeds her whenever she can," Milla wrote. "I've had to supplement with expressed breast milk because Osian has a bad case of jaundice that she hasn't been able to kick, so we've been in and out of the hospital all week and they said the more milk she eats the quicker she'll get them all out," she continued. "But she falls asleep so quickly breastfeeding that we've had to do the bottle feedings so she gets as much as possible." She added: "Poor one has so many little scratches on her heels where they've taken blood to test her for antibodies, it makes my heart hurt to think about. But hopefully the blood test they did today will show that she's all better." Babies develop jaundice because of high levels of bilirubin, according to People.
