Ariana Grande ditches the high ponytail — and looks like a completely different person
Is it a new era for Ariana Grande? Other than a few isolated social media snaps back in 2017, the singer's pretty much worn her long locks up in a high ponytail for public appearances and photos. (Ariana, 24, has said she wears it back because it's damaged from constantly bleaching it and dyeing it red for her shows, "Victorious" "Sam & Cat.") On the July cover of British Vogue however, she swaps her little girl-esque look for something more mature and natural to accompany a story called "The Year That Changed Everything." It's an apt switch given the content of the story, in which Ariana opens up about the PTSD-like symptoms she's suffered from since a suicide bomber attacked fans leaving her show in Manchester in 2017. The stunning new cover shows an ash-blonde Ariana with her hair worn down, prettily framing her face. Her usual cat-eye liner and doll-like foundation is gone, too, replaced by low-key makeup that shows off the sprinkle of freckles on her cheeks. Stylist Chris Appleton was responsible for Ariana's hair — and deserves credit for some of the praise, as well as the confusion, that came pouring in for her new look after Vogue shared the photo on social media. "Took me a few mins to realise who that was !!!" marveled on follower. "Well done Chris your creativeness is out of this world well done 10 out of 10 !! ❤️❤️."

Chrissy Teigen can't find clothes that fit her 'teenie premie' son
When Chrissy Teigen and John Legend welcomed their second child, he was born premature. And though Miles' small size seems not to have caused any health problems, it is causing one frustrating situation for his mom: "Nothing fits my teenie premie :(," she tweeted this week. "Not enough stuff out there! I gotta learn to sew. miles is tired of your body shaming, society!" Luckily for Miles, Chrissy's followers quickly came to her rescue. Actress Kristin Davis promised to DM the model mom some ideas, multiple users suggested various specific brands and at least one clothing maker on Etsy offered to tailor something special to suit the little guy. He is little, by the way. Asked by a commenter how big Miles was when he arrived, Chrissy replied, "3 weeks early, 4.5 pounds! my nugget. <3."

I guess I can trust your opinion, or trust you'll show up to work on time,' even though I've never, ever been late, even as a 15-year-old," she says. "But I feel like now I have a kid, it just goes without saying that I'm responsible … I learned after having a child: not to take things so personally, because it's such a waste of time."

Prince Harry announces the location of the 2020 Invictus Games
Prince Harry announced Monday, June 4, that the next Invictus Games will be held in the Netherlands. "I am delighted to announce that The Hague is taking up the challenge of hosting the fifth Invictus Games in 2020," the newly minted royal husband said in a statement published by E! News. "The city will soon become the motivation for hundreds of servicemen and women using the Invictus Games to inspire their recovery from physical and mental injuries. The Netherlands has supported the Games from the very beginning, and I know that everyone there will fully get behind and support the soldiers and veterans who have served their countries so bravely," he continued, adding: "We have already seen in London, Orlando, and Toronto just how exciting hosting the Invictus Games can be, and I know this will be an incredible experience for everyone in the Hague as they embrace the Invictus spirit in 2020." Last year's games were conveniently held in Toronto, where Harry's then-girlfriend, Meghan Markle, was living while shooting "Suits." The two made their first official appearance as a couple at the games and were spotted snuggling and sharing the occasional smooch.
Taylor Swift is beefing up security at her Beverly Hills home
While Taylor Swift continues her Reputation tour, plans are underway back at her home in Beverly Hills to improve security for when she returns. TMZ reports a special meeting was called regarding permission for the singer to add a 12-14-foot wall behind the existing 6.5 and 7-foot walls that already encircle the property. In documents filed requesting the change — a necessary measure due to the pad's historic landmark status — Taylor's team said the additional wall is needed "due to multiple attempts by people to enter the property over the existing, lower perimeter wall." A man was caught trespassing on the property in April, but Taylor's trouble with would-be home invaders (and stalkers) goes back a few years earlier — and extends to her other properties, including the seaside home in Rhode Island where a man was arrested after showing up there three times and telling security Taylor had invited him to come inside. She was ultimately given a green light to go ahead with the wall around the house in Beverly Hills.
Kanye West says he was 'diagnosed with a mental condition' at 39
Kanye West hopes his dark new album, "Ye," which includes lyrics about suicide, bipolar disorder and drug use, can touch those who struggle with mental health issues and don't have the kind of support or resources Kanye has. In a new interview with Big Boy TV (via ET), the rapper acknowledges he's lucky to have had an artistic outlet after incidents like the controversy that followed his now infamous "slavery was a choice" interview with TMZ Live. "I'm so blessed and so privileged because think about people that have mental issues that are not Kanye West that can't go and make that and make it feel like it's all good," he said. "Think about somebody does exactly what I did at TMZ and they do that at work but then Tuesday morning they come in and they've lost their job. But they can't go in there and make that. That's why God put that on me." When the host asked Kanye to clarify what he meant by "diagnosed," the rapper said, "Diagnosed with a mental condition," though he did not confirm or deny whether he's bipolar, as his album art implies, courtesy of the scrawled words, "i hate being bipolar it's awesome." Referencing a lyric from his new track, "Yikes," he explained: "I think everybody got something," he said. "But like I said on the album, 'It's not a disability. It's a superpower.'" When he was hospitalized for a rumored "mental breakdown" in 2016, TMZ reported his erratic behavior had been caused by a medication-related issue.

The concert at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Saturday, June 2, was all about family. Billy Joel shared the spotlight with his daughter, Alexa Ray Joel, who joined her dad onstage to sing his 1986 song, "My Baby Grand," as her mom, Christie Brinkley, cheered for both Alexa and Billy from the front row. "We literally rehearsed this for the first time yesterday," the 32-year-old vocalist told the audience before her dad kicked off the music, according to Star magazine. Julianne Moore, Elizabeth Banks and more stars wear orange for gun safety during 'Wear Orange Weekend'
This past weekend, Americans across the country, famous and otherwise, wore orange to show their solidarity with National Gun Violence Awareness Day in an effort to get politicians to create safer gun legislation and to remember those who have fallen victim to gun violence in America. Celebs who participated in "Wear Orange Weekend" included Alyssa Milano, Mark Hamill, Katie Couric, Zac Posen, Elizabeth Banks and many others. Julianne Moore went a step further, spending much of the weekend posting stats and urging action to stem gun violence. On Sunday, June 3, she joined fellow New Yorkers at the fifth annual Brooklyn Bridge March for Gun Sense. "#Wearorange was created to honor the life of #hadiyapendleton who lost her life to gun violence one week after performing at President Obama's 2nd inauguration," Julianne captioned a photo from the march. Yesterday was the day she would have turned 21. We marched for her at the #youthovergunsmarchnyc and at all of the marches all over the US. Though she missed her son, Brody's wedding in Bali and a birthday celebration for her other son, Brandon, Caitlyn Jenner told AOL she had an incredible weekend in Vienna, where she and her close companion, Sophia Hutchins, flew for the 25th annual Life Ball, a massive fundraiser for people living with HIV and AIDS. After flying to Europe on a Life Ball chartered plane on Thursday, May 31 — where and Sophia posed for a selfie with one of the other passengers and enjoyed some in-flight wine — the pair joined other ball-goers at a pre-party cocktail hour at Le Meridien . The following night's bash was held at Vienna's City Hall. "This is my first time to the Life Ball. First time to Vienna. I'm a Life Ball virgin and this is absolutely great," Caitlyn told Us Weekly. "The whole city celebrates this and diversity, diversity is good. They have raised so much money for HIV. I have my own foundation that I raise money for and I know how difficult that is and what a great job they've done all the years. They've really made a difference in the world." Kelly Osbourne and Patti LaBelle also attended the event. Despite romance rumors that have followed Caitlyn and Sophia since they first became friends, the two have maintained their relationship is platonic.
'Little Big Lies' stars head to the movies to see Shailene Woodley's 'Adrift'
If Shailene Woodley's ever in need of a new marketing team, she could probably count on her "Big Little Lies" costars … Reese Witherspoon, Zoe Kravitz and Laura Dern all shared pics on their Instagram accounts over the weekend from what appeared to be a group flick-trip to check out Shailene's new survival-at-sea drama, "Adrift." "What a night at the movies!" Reese wrote on Instagram (via the Daily Mail). She went on to issue a major plug for her pal's project: "@adriftmovie Blew me away!! Seeing this incredible true story , i was on the edge of my seat, cheering on @shailenewoodley & @mrsamclaflin who are stuck adrift on a sailboat in the Pacific Ocean. Shailene is outstanding in a rare performance of woman vs. nature that is not to be missed. You must see this movie !! 💯🌟" Reese also had some Snapchat fun with Zoe and Shailene, who also tagged along, presumably to find out what her costars thought of her performance.
