Ben Affleck looks happier than ever on NYC stroll with Lindsay Shookus
Look at those pearly whites! Between his split from Jennifer Garner, his decision to get help for his drinking and a recent controversy about his conduct with Hilarie Burton back in 2003, it's understandable if Ben Affleck hasn't been smiling much for the paparazzi lately. But judging from the look on his face when he stepped out with his girlfriend, Lindsay Shookus, in New York City over the weekend, things are looking up. The actor, who had just returned to the Big Apple from Los Angeles, was straight-up glowing as he and Lindsay ducked into a coffee shop in Manhattan together before clasping paws and enjoying a stroll in the brisk air. Ben and Lindsay's outing comes on the heels of a Life&Style claim that the two are engaged. Ben's rep denied the tabloid report to the Daily Mail last week.

Millie Bobby Brown meets Dakota Fanning, fangirl adorableness ensues
It's official. The 2018 SAG Award for Best Fangirling Moment on the Red Carpet goes to Millie Bobby Brown and Dakota Fanning. The pair shared an adorable moment before the ceremony began on Sunday, Jan. 21, with the "Stranger Things" star looking absolutely stunned as she introduced herself to Dakota, clutching her hands in together with excitement. The two spent some time chatting — while beaming at one another — before Dakota bestowed a hug on her Converse and Calvin Klein-clad superfan. Dakota was among the evening's all-women presenters; Millie was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series for her role as Eleven on "Stranger Things."
Katie Holmes marks the 20th anniversary of 'Dawson's Creek'
Happy birthday, "Dawson's Creek"! The hit series starring Katie Holmes, James Van Der Beek, Michelle Williams, and Joshua Jackson turned 20 over the weekend, sparking Katie to share some nostalgia with her Instagram followers. "I am so grateful that 20 years ago we premiered Dawson's Creek," she posted with a photo of the pilot script. "I am so honored to have been a part of it 🙂 such wonderful memories. Such wonderful friends. Such incredible fans. Thank you all!" Despite Katie's obvious love for her experience starring on the show, she made it pretty clear back in 2016 that she doesn't think those rumors of a rebooted version of the show will come to fruition. "I don't think we're going to do a reunion," she said on SiriusXM's "Just Jenny Show." "We did grow up, but we see each other every now and then. I think that the charm of the show was Kevin Williamson's writing and it was of that time and it gave teenagers this voice," she added. "It was a very, very special time — a special show and I loved every minute of it."

Ciara faces backlash over pastor's message about single women
While celebs like Jane Fonda. Olivia Wilde, Ashton Kutcher and Padma Lakshmi participated in Women's Marches across the country on Saturday, Jan. 20, Ciara had a different kind of women's issue on her mind. The singer posted a video on social media that drew wide criticism for its message about marriage. The clip featured pastor John Gray delivering a sermon about single women. "Too many women want to be married but you're walking in the spirit of 'girlfriend,'" Ciara's post read, quoting the sermon. "#LevelUp," she captioned the clip. "Don't Settle." In the video, the pastor can be heard saying, "You are not a wife when I marry you, you are a wife when I find you. You become my wife when I marry you. But a wife's not the presence of a ring, it is the presence of your character." Among those who criticized Ciara for the post was People magazine's CiCi Adams, who responded in multiple tweets about what she finds wrong with the message — and Ciara's decision to share it. "Ciara, honey, no. We rooted for you when you were going through your mess. I'm so disappointed that you would share something so silly. What pastor John Gray is saying here is intellectually lazy and a twisting of scripture. That's not what Prov. 18:22 meant at all," she explained (via the Daily Mail). "Ciara's doing what many women do when they overcome trials and then get married. She is using her marital status as a weapon against other women who aren't married. And it is clear that she has tied her value and sense of self-worth to her marriage, otherwise, she would not have shared that." Another social media user pointed out the double standard that exists when it comes to finding love and getting married, writing: "Here we go. Society force feeds women this same ideal that we need to be a certain way for men. Hence, the vid Ciara posted. It's not an ideal pressed on to men. This, the demand exists while women keep believing the bull." Still others took issue with Ciara's own past. "#Ciara You weren't 'walking in the spirit' when you got pregnant with Future's son OUT OF WEDLOCK. Now run & tell that!" read one response. In another, a user simply said, "You have two kids by two different men. Sit this one out Ciara." Ciara, who married Russell Wilson in 2016, had some defenders, too. "I was confused as to why #Ciara was trending," read one post. "All I see is her saying is do better, and don't settle for less. Maybe I'm just not understanding."
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have matching Vegemite tattoos
For Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth, true love is a pair of matching tattoos. Or in their case, two pairs. According to the Daily Mail, when Liam was spotted in Byron Bay, Australia, earlier this month, a tat matching the ode to Vegemite, the aussie spread, that Miley's had since 2016 was visible for the first time on his ankle. The couple, who were recently rumored to have gotten hitched Down Under in a secret ceremony, also share similar Theodore Roosevelt quotes on their arms, written in the same cursive font. Asked about the wedding rumors, Liam's brother, Chris Hemsworth, was vague in a recent interview on SiriusXM radio, saying only, "they are not officially married" — while giggling.
Madeline Brewer addresses Nick Jonas romance rumors
"Are you dating Nick or what?" So said a an apparently bold reporter from ET at the SAG Awards on Sunday, Jan. 21, when she ran into "The Handmaid's Tale" star Madeline Brewer on the red carpet. The question was in reference Madeline's recent evening out with Nick Jonas, who was photographed smiling and leaning in towards the actress at Via Veneto in Santa Monica, California, after the Critics' Choice Awards earlier this month. Madeline wasted no time responding with, "No! No! We, we, I ate food across from one another. So, that was …" When the reporter suggested that "in Hollywood, that's a date," Madeline said, "I guess so. I guess so, but it was … he's a really nice guy. He's a nice guy." Pressed as to whether anything "official" was happening between the two, Madeline said, "Not at all!" adding, "No, it was — we're friends." Finally, the reporter gave it one more try, offering, "He's cute, though!" That's when Madeline kinda took the bait. "He's adorable, yeah," she said. "I mean, that's just, like, objectively, yeah, he's a cute guy." Hmm ..

Like his adopted sister Tammy, who passed away last August, Chunk made regular appearances on Chelsea's social media. He even appeared on her show a few times. "Thank you to everyone who has sent so many goodies, doggy treats, toys, clothes, paintings, stuffed animals, and everything else over the years," Chelsea posted after Chunk's death. "He loved being famous and getting recognized, especially without me. So many people loved him, and I really appreciate that and so did he."
Will Paris Hilton take Chris Zylka's name?
When your last name is Hilton, ditching the moniker for marriage isn't necessarily in the cards, even for Mr. Right. In a video published by TheBlast this week, Paris Hilton addresses whether she'll keep the Hilton name or take her man's name when she ties the knot with Chris Zylka. Seated behind the wheel at a traffic stop, Paris says, "probably both." Seems about right for a bride-to-be who's considering having not one but three weddings …

Speaking to Us Weekly at the 2018 SAG Awards on Sunday, Jan. 21, the actress opened up for the first time about her man and what it's like to date a co-star. Asked what she loves most about Charlie, Natalia joked, "He's alright I guess. He doesn't mess up our scenes too much!" before getting serious. "No, he's great. He's talented, like everybody in the cast. They're all super, just great to work with," she said, adding that while working with her boyfriend has its ups and downs, it's ultimately, "it's a lot of fun, truly."

"Shameless" star William H. Macy weighed in on issues related to the #MeToo and Time's Up campaigns backstage at the SAG Awards. "It's hard to be a man these days," he said, according to USA Today, after winning the award for Outstanding Male Actor in a Comedy Series. "I think a lot of feel like we're under attack and feel like we need to apologize," he continued. "Perhaps we do. Perhaps we are. But we'll keep talking … We had a meeting, a bunch of guys got together under the auspices of Time's Up. And that's good for men. Men don't talk enough and they don't talk to other men. And we talked."
