Camila Morrone takes the high road amid nasty comments about her romance with Leonardo DiCaprio
Camila Morrone has a lesson about positivity to share with the world this week. The 22-year-old actress, who's rumored to have been dating Leonardo DiCaprio, 44, for more than a year, posted a photo of Lauren Bacall and Humphrey Bogart on her Instagram on Thursday, July 25. The romantic pic showed Lauren tipping her head back in Humphrey's embrace as if they're about to kiss. "A love like this," Camila wrote alongside the iconic shot. It didn't take long for users to pick up on the similar age gap between Lauren and Humphrey (she was 19 when she met the then-45-year-old star she'd eventually marry) and Camila and Leo. The response was largely nasty, with commenters posting things ranging from, "I can't believe what a dork she is posting something like this," to, "It's obv a comparison to herself and Leo. Girl, where are your friends?? Somebody stop her," and "Leo only cares about your body," (via E! News). Camila took the nastiness in stride. "Good morning people and happy Friday," she said in a video on her Instagram Story the next day. "I just read some of the comments on my Instagram and…my God, people are so mean and full of anger with people that they know nothing about." She continued: "I guess I just hope on this Friday that people learn to live with a little less hatred and place their time and interests elsewhere, because living without hatred feels pretty good." An insider recently told E! Camila and Leo's romance is "getting more serious," that "they've been inseparable for the last year and are crazy about one another," and that they "love being together."

And the best-paid Instagram using celebrity in the world is … surprise! Yep. Kylie Jenner. HopperHQ released its annual report on what celebs get paid to post on Instagram this week and it seems the platform's favorite young billionaire, Kylie Jenner, is at the top. According to the website, she rakes in $1,266,000 per post. That puts her far ahead of the earnings garnered for posts from Ariana Grande ($996,000), Kim Kardashian West ($910,000); Selena Gomez ($886,000); Beyonce ($785,000) and Taylor Swift ($784,000).

Because Taylor Swift doesn't do media of any kind without an Easter egg or two ,,, The singer recently teamed up with Capital One to promote a credit card — and she's clearly found a way to promote her new music in the process. The cute ad features Taylor as a not-so-talented bartender who can't seem to mix a drink to save her life before she dons a diner waitress costume and starts screwing up orders there, as well. Over the course of the ad, her new track "Me!" from her forthcoming album, "Lover," can be heard in the background, but The Blast notes there's also a barrage of typically tiny details that reference her and her music throughout the clip. The checks she drops off with customers include numbers like $13.13 — she's all about lucky 13 and has been for years — and $19.89 — she was born in 1989, which also served as the name of her fifth studio album. Other touches include a cat face drawing on the check, a reference to how "swiftly" the company's card lets you pay and a suggestion that Taylor take the server mistakes she's made and … you guessed it … "shake it off." "Lover" is due out Aug. 23.

Jake Gyllenhaal says he hopes to have children someday
This week, Jake Gyllenhaal and Tom Sturridge kick off a two-month run on Broadway in "Sea Wall/A Life." The show features Jake, 38, as a soon-to-be new dad who's in the midst of exploring various aspects of fatherhood. Not surprisingly, the show has him thinking about whether he might have kids himself. "I do hope to be a father one day," he tells "Sunday Today" host Willie Geist in a preview clip released on Today.com this week. "It's a show about faith and family and the mess and comedy of life. It's really actually about two fathers. And about, for my character, someone who's just about to become a father. Also, he goes back into his relationship with his own father and the passing of his father and how that makes him feel becoming a father," Jake explains. The actor, who's reportedly dating 22-year-old model Jeanne Cadieu, has no kids yet but he is an uncle to his sister, Maggie Gyllenhaal's daughters, Ramona and Gloria, and has said in the past that he's close with them.
Lisa Vanderpump fires back after Kyle Richards' Twitter tirade
Hell hath no fury like a pair of "Real Housewives" scorned. The bad blood between Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards apparently won't be taking a breather just because Season 9 of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" has (finally) come to an end. Earlier this week, after the second part of the "RHOBH" finale aired, Kyle Richards unleashed a tirade aimed at her former good friend, Lisa Vanderpump, on Twitter. Invoking the "Puppy Gate" drama that took up much of the season and revolved around a dog Dorit Kemsley adopted from Lisa's pet spot then later put back up for adoption elsewhere, Kyle accused Lisa of "scheming about how to make her friend look bad," said Dorit "made a mistake" that may have been because of "the $5,000 return policy" at Lisa's dog center and dragged Lisa for behavior that seemed to be "a pattern you would think would stop because she was going through a hard time." Those are just some of the highlights from the 29 tweets Kyle posted. Lisa eventually weighed in when a fan dredged up some of Kyle's accusations. :…if I wanted to hurt any of them there were so many things going on, lawsuits, bankruptcies, shops failing, shows cancelled, loans in default etc and I never said a word," Lisa tweeted, according to the Daily Mail. "Me on the other hand oh I am a liar, coward, sniper, bad teeth, awful friend, terrible wine, the list goes on..awful really," she continued. "Glad I stepped away. Also pump rules has been amazing this year." As of this summer, Lisa was not planning to return to the show.
Laura Prepon reveals 'OITNB' gave a fan the courage to come out to her family
As the cast of "Orange is the New Black" says goodbye to their seven season-long run on Netflix, Laura Prepon, who plays Alex Vause on the show, has been reflecting on the larger impact the series may have had on viewers. Calling her work on "OITNB" "something bigger than" "just a job" because of how it allowed other marginalized women to feel they were being better represented on TV, Laura recently told People what it meant to her to have a fan approach her to say Alex's character, who had an on-off relationship with Taylor Schilling's character, Piper, helped her find a way to talk to her relatives about her own sexuality. "This young girl came up to me and she must have been 21 years old and she said, 'Thank you so much for portraying Alex because watching you as Alex gave me the courage to come out to my family,'" Laura recalled. "It's things like that where, not only did the show break so many boundaries and represents so many different types of women, but the fact that people could watch the characters on the show, a character, you know, I'll speak just for myself, but I can't watch a character like Alex and not and feel represented. And to watch my character give her the courage to make this huge decision to tell her family about her orientation … that is huge to me." The show's seventh and final season airs on Netflix on Thursday, July 26.
Gordon Ramsay defends new show against 'No Reservations' comparisons
When Gordon Ramsay announced plans for a new show, "Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted," last year, critics were quick to question the seeming similarities between his concept — a look at gastronomic traditions and flavors in six "unchartered territories," according to Us Weekly — and that of Anthony Bourdain's "No Reservations." The announcement was made shortly after Anthony's death, but as Gordon explained during a panel on the Summer 2019 TCAs this week, his project had already been in the works for years when he got a green light to move forward. "We took a lot of flack on the announcements with Nat Geo about rivaling Tony Bourdain, and that was incorrect. Judge the program and the integrity and the team that's gone to hell and back to make this work," he said. "With respect to what he [Bourdain] did and how he did it, I started this journey back in 2004, discovering India, Vietnam, Cambodia and literally getting away from the three-Michelin-star setup with 25 chefs." According to Gordon, his new show focuses on topics like the creation of "magical," extremely frugal family dining experiences in places where residents face various vulnerabilities. "That's what this is all about, and not getting carried away with the sort of highfalutin end," he said. "It's scaling it back and unearthing those secrets that sometimes we've forgotten about." It's unclear whether he acknowledged the fact that "No Reservations" also looked at street food and the economic ramifications of culinary culture in impoverished regions of the world.
More charges and defendants could be brought into R.Kelly's case in Chicago
The initial indictment that charged R. Kelly and two of his associates with child pornography, among other things, in Chicago, could be replaced in the coming weeks. That's according to Billboard, which reports prosecutor Angel Krull told a federal judge overseeing the case on Thursday, July 25, that a new indictment featuring additional charges and defendants may be in the works. Though she revealed no further details about a potential new indictment, she also asked the judge for a gag order of sorts on what the lawyers involved are allowed to disclose publicly about the evidence due to the alleged harassment of her potential witnesses by the singer's fans. Kelly remains in custody in Chicago. He still faces similar charges in New York, as well. The next hearing is slated for Wednesday, July 31.
Shannen Doherty thanks Ian Ziering for support when she's 'been low'
The "Beverly Hills 90210" reboot hasn't even aired yet and we're already getting emotional about the ties that bind the original cast of the long-running series. A post from Shannen Doherty on Instagram this week is a case in point. The actress, who recently filmed a tribute to her late onscreen boyfriend, Luke Perry, and has openly documented her journey battling breast cancer, shared a photo of a message written in chalk on a sidewalk on Thursday, July 25. "One day you will tell your story of how you've overcome what you're going through now, and it will become part of someone else's survival guide," the message read (via Us Weekly). Turns out, it came from Shannen's friend and "BH90210" castmate, Ian Ziering, "I got sent this today by someone very special," Shannen captioned the shot. "Someone who for the last two months, has made me laugh, smile, contemplate and has built me up when I've been low. @ianziering thank you."
Lili Reinhart thinks her 'Riverdale' character will get married before she does
On the heels of rumors "Riverdale" stars Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse have called it quits, Lili appears in a new "Screen Test" interview for W magazine where she references her love life, though not Cole. "Filming Riverdale, I'm doing things now in my life that I never would have ever thought I'd get to experience — like, I got to fire a gun, not that I even had an interest in doing that," she says in the clip, according to ET. She then adds that she assumes her character, Betty, will settle down sooner than she will. "I don't know if you'll see it in the show, but I think Betty will get married before I get married," says the 22-year-old star. Later in the interview, she admits how "nervous" she was ahead of her first kiss, which happened on a set. "I think I didn't really even process that I had to do it until I was there, and I was like, 'Oh, s—, I'm about to make out with someone for the first time," she recalls. "It was, like, horrifying," she says, laughing. "My mom was on set, not that she really cared, not that it was that awkward for us because we're close, but it was definitely strange. And it was an older guy. So that was weird." In the main cover story for W, Lili and Sprouse explain that it's getting old constantly being talked about as a pair rather than two separate people.
