Carrie Underwood thanks a stranger for supporting her after a 'rookie' parenting move
Ah, the glamorous world of motherhood. On Sunday, March 31, Carrie Underwood was compelled to tweet out a thank-you after a stranger seemingly empathized with the "rookie" parenting move the singer made with her two-month-old son, Jacob, at a restaurant. "Thanks to the nice lady who offered to buy me a drink at lunch today after I carried my naked, poo covered, screaming baby up the stairs and back to my table," she posted (via Us Weekly). "It was a rookie mistake leaving the diaper bag at the table and only taking a diaper and 2 wipes. Never again." The drink offer wasn't the only hand Carrie was lent, parenting-wise, over the weekend. On Saturday, she tweeted another thank-you, this time to her husband, Mike Fisher, who gave the singer some time to catch up on rest while he dealt with Jacob and the couple's other son, Isaiah. "I wanna publicly thank the hubs for taking the kiddos and letting this tired mama sleep a couple extra hours this morning," she wrote. "If any of you fellas out there could do this every once-in-a-while for your ladies, lemme tell you, it makes all the difference in the world!"
Priyanka Chopra just went to her first Jonas Brothers concert
Last month, Nick Jonas' new wife, Priyanka Chopra and Joe Jonas' fiancee, Sophie Turner made cameos in the video for the Jonas Brothers' new single, "Sucker." But it turns out Priyanka had never attended a Jonas Brothers concert. That changed on Sunday, March 31, when the "Quantico" actress cheered on Nick and his sibs at The Tabernacle in Atlanta. "My first ever #jonasbrothers show. And it was incredible!!!" she later captioned a shot of herself with the band, adding, "I'm so proud of these guys!! #Family ❤️🎉🙌🏽." Page Six reports Priyanka was joined in the audience by Nick's mom and dad, as well as his youngest brother. She didn't seem to mind the fangirls in the crowd, either. When someone tossed a bra at the stage, Priyanka grabbed it and waved it in the air with a big smile on her face.
Nipsey Hussle was scheduled to meet with police to discuss gang violence the day after he was murdered
When Grammy nominated rapper Nipsey Hussle was gunned down in front of his clothing store in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 31, the 33-year-old was just hours away from a scheduled meeting to discuss gang violence with the Los Angeles Police Department. That's according to Los Angeles Police Commissioner Steve Soboroff, who tweeted that he and LAPD Chief Michel Moore planned to see Nipsey and reps from Roc Nation on Monday. "We (@LAPDChiefMoore and I ) were meeting , at the request of @NipseyHussle with him and @rocnation tomorrow at 4pm to talk about ways he could help stop gang violence and help us help kids. I'm so very sad," the commissioner tweeted on Sunday night. Nipsey, who grew up in South Los Angeles, has spoken out about the "war zone"-like environment of his youth as well as his own past ties to the Crips gang. As an adult, he'd become an influential community organizer, working on a neighborhood art project and launching a co-work space as a means to give local kids options for success that might save their lives, according to the Daily Mail. "Tonight's homicide in South LA represents the latest loss in a troubling surge in violence," the city's Chief of Police posted after Nipsey's death. "Since last Sunday 26 victims have been shot & 10 homicides—that's 36 families left picking up the pieces. We will work aggressively with our community to quell this senseless loss of life," he added.

Jameela Jamil slams Kim Kardashian West, Kris Jenner over their defense of promoting weight loss products
Jameela Jamil is still angry that the Kardashians are promoting weight loss products regardless of comments Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian West made in defense of the brands they promote when asked about the weight loss shake backlash by the New York Times. "I don't live in that negative energy space," Kris told the Times after a reporter raised the fact Jameela had slammed Khloe for promoting what Jameela believes is a dangerous product. "Ninety percent of people will be really excited about the family and the journey and who we are," Kris said of the product placements (via JustJared). "If there is work that is really easy that doesn't take away from our kids, that's like a huge priority, if someone was faced with the same job opportunities, I think they would maybe consider," Kim chimed in. "You're going to get backlash for almost everything so as long as you like it or believe in it or it's worth it financially, whatever your decision may be, as long as you're O.K. with that." After seeing the interview, Jameela called it out on Twitter, writing: "Essentially, 'f— the young, impressionable people, or those struggling with eating disorders, we want the money.' I have been given these same opportunities to flog this stuff, and I don't do it, so they don't have to. Thank you, next."
Jordyn Woods
The publicity Jordyn Woods' hookup with Tristan Thompson incurred may have helped her in the long run, even though it was largely negative. The Blast reports that in the wake of her severed relationship with the Kardashian-Jenner family over Khloe Kardashian's then-partner, Jordyn is lining up a slew of lucrative new business deals. Sources tell the website she's expected to sign new a handful of makeup and fashion deals in London in the near future, including one for a new line of her designer lashes. Kylie Jenner's former best pal has been "flooded with calls" from brands, according to The Blast, and is now planning to hit Dubai and other parts of the Middle East with her mother, who's also her manager, as she pursues the opportunities. The Blast credits Jordyn's "Red Table Talk" appearance, where she told her side of the Tristan story, as having worked in her favor.
Kathy Griffin confirms she's back together with her ex, Randy Bick
Kathy Griffin is no longer single. The comic announced in November she'd split from her boyfriend of seven years Randy Bick. At the time, she told fans and followers it was a friendly breakup, noting that she "will always adore him." She wasn't exaggerating — because the Daily Mail noticed that over the weekend, Kathy and Randy reunited for dinner with Richard Marx and his wife, Daisy Fuentes. After she shared a photo of the foursome on their double date, one commenter asked, "You back with Randy Kathleen?' She soon confirmed that the two are back together, replying simply, "Yup."
Winona Ryder's agent begged her not to do 'Heathers'
"Heathers," 1989's dark high school movie about a kid who lures his girlfriend into helping him kill their classmates, famously helped kickstart the careers of its stars, Winona Ryder and Christian Slater. But if Winona's agent had had her way, the actress would never have done the movie. Speaking to Variety about the film's 30th anniversary producer Denise Di Novi said the agent got on her knees and begged the young actress to pass on the project. She didn't — in fact, she even brought Christian on board as her sociopathic onscreen love. "Winona Ryder is so smart, very brave and unusual. She was this amazing 15-year-old, if you can believe it. Winona got obsessed with the script," Denise recalled. As for Christian? Denise isn't convinced he even grasped just how dark the story was, telling the magazine: "I'm not sure at that point in his life, he knew what the heck was going on with that movie, but he was just a workhorse. He just worked, worked and worked. He signed on to do it. I figured out a budget and away we went."
Tom D'Agostino claims LuAnn de Lesseps cheated first in their marriage
Nearly two years after Tom D'Agostino and Luann de Lesseps called time on their marriage of eight months, Tom is reportedly still talking smack about his ex. According to Page Six, he's angry she talks about his infidelity in her cabaret show and has been telling friends she was unfaithful first and that he only cheated because she had. The tab also claims he's "joked" that she was addicted to pills as well as the alcohol for which she's been to rehab multiple times, telling friends, "I didn't realize I was marrying a Walgreens!" When asked for a response, Luann said only, "I wish [D'Agostino] well. I have moved on, and I hope he can do the same."
Pink deletes Instagram account after 'disgusting' users body-shame her 2-year-old
Pink is "disgusted" by users on Instagram — and with good reason. Over the weekend, she shared a photo of her kids, 7-year-old Willow and 2-year-old Jameson, with a pelican by the side of a pool. According to Today.com, she then deleted the pic because she noticed Jameson had wriggled his way out of his beach diaper before the photo was taken. She reposted a version that had his baby anatomy blurred out, but not before getting some apparently awful comments on the first post. "There's something seriously wrong with a lot of you out there … Are you for real? As any normal mother at the beach, I didn't even notice he took off his swim diaper," she wrote in the caption. "I deleted it because you're all f—— disgusting," she continued. "And now I'm turning off my comments and shaking my head at the state of social media and keyboard warriors, And the negativity that you bring to other people's lives. There is something seriously wrong with a lot of you out there." She later deleted her account altogether.
Jennifer Garner jokes she wrote a memoir called 'Bless Her Heart'
In a Vanity Fair cover story a while back, Jennifer Garner was asked about the massive tattoo of a phoenix her ex, Ben Affleck, had gotten on his back. "You know what we would say in my hometown about that?" asked the Houston native. "Bless his heart." It's a Gulf South way of saying, as Urban Dictionary helpfully puts it, "you're an idiot but I like you and care about you so I don't want to hurt your feelings." So when Jen hopped on Instagram on Monday, April 1 — key words, "April 1" — to promote what she said was her new memoir, "Bless Her Heart," the title seemed more than a little April Fool's-y. "Hello, good morning. I have some exciting news to share — I have written my first and probably only book," the actress says in a video she posted on April Fool's Day (ahem). "It's a real labor of love and I go places I never thought that I would go. But I do. And I just wanna thank everyone who was part of helping me write and create this book, Bless Your Heart," she continues. The caption on the post reads: "I'm thrilled and finally able to share with all of you—I've written a book! 🙈😬🙈This whole process has been humbling and illuminating, taking me deep into places I didn't even know I could go. Thank you to every one who helped bring these stories to life and held my hand along the way. The time has come for me to share it—I can't wait to hear what you think. XX Jen." Despite the seemingly sarcastic title — and, as Oprah.com points out, the fact that the book jacket says Jen's therapist wrote the forward — even some of the star's famous friends believed it was really her memoir. "This is very exciting!" gushed actress Sarah Foster. "Bless YOUR heart……..," Tyrese Gibson added. "Be right back I'm off to amazon now!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love you always JG!!!!!!" Fans weren't so easily convinced the whole thing wasn't a joke. "I would believe this, but it's April 1st. I'm skeptical of everything today. I would love to see a cookbook, though. 😊" wrote one commenter. After letting the post ride for a few hours, Jen chimed in with an update: "Thank you for being so happy for me. Your sweetness makes me feel 🙈😬 🔥 for playing a joke. But this is an April Fool's. ♥️♥️♥️."
