Carrie Underwood shares a glowing birthday selfie as she turns 37
Happy birthday, Carrie Underwood! The country music superstar rang in her 37th birthday on Tuesday, March 10 — and she celebrated the milestone with a trip to the gym and a fresh-faced selfie. "Birthday workout in the books!" Carrie captioned a glowing closeup of her makeup-free face (via the Daily Mail). The post popped up on the singer and mother of two's new exercise and healthy eating app, @Fit52, which Carrie's proud to say is as realistic as it is good for you. Speaking to Parade for the magazine's latest issue, she asserted that "one bad food choice, one lazy day on the couch isn't going to wreck everything," an approach that was key to the app and the book that accompanied it, "Find Your Path." "We wanted to give readers permission to be practical and real and honest," Carrie told Parade. "I've seen crazy diet suggestions, and I've tried some that are entirely unsustainable — no, I'm not going to puree my own peas or make my own hummus," she said, laughing. "They have it at the store. You know what I do? I eat microwave burritos multiple times a week because they're easy. It's about finding those solutions and doing your best."

Katy Perry was 'excited about walking down the aisle pregnant' before they had to postpone
When Katy Perry premiered the video for her new song, "Never Worn White" — the one that ended with a pregnancy reveal — she was planning to double down on the white wedding joke at her own wedding, which she and Orlando Bloom were planning to have in the coming months in Japan. Now the COVID-19 has become a global pandemic, the pair have had to change their plans. "The wedding is definitely postponed," a source close to the pair tells People. "Katy was actually really excited about walking down the aisle pregnant. She thought it would be funny and cute to be in her wedding dress with a baby bump. All her friends were joking that it was so her luck because they've been totally ready to start a family for a while now." The insider says Katy and Orlando are "a little disappointed" but will instead get to "enjoy their time together before the baby arrives," after which they'll reportedly get back to the business of planning their ceremony.

At 50, Matthew McConaughey wants to 'look forward to looking back'
Matthew McConaughey is clearly not afraid of death. In fact, he finds thinking about his funeral kinda "fun," at least since he turned 50 last fall. "What's really fun and interesting for me to go, 'OK, project forward and look back at your eulogy. What will they say to your eulogy?'" the Austin native tells People. "Can I live a life where I can look forward to looking back?" So far, we'd say the answer is yes. In addition to being happily married to Camila Alves, with whom he shares two sons and a daughter, the Oscar-winning actor has a lot going on offscreen these days. He teaches film at UT Austin, his alma mater, he continues to run his Just Keep Livin' Foundation, a nonprofit "dedicated to the health and wellbeing of youth communities," according to its website, and he's now the Minister of Culture/M.O.C. in Austin. That's on top of his partial ownership of a local FC soccer club and his creative director role at Wild Turkey Bourbon. Did we mention he also developed his own whiskey, Longbranch? "Being in my position, I had the means to give back," Matthew says of his foundation work. "I wanted to do something that was incentive-based, to prevent before we had the cure. So we found high school students who needed what we wanted to give them, which is exercise goals, nutrition goals, accountability to community service and a halo of gratitude. We have students who were about to fail out, on drugs, and came into our curriculum, graduated, got scholarships and just graduated from a major university. That kind of stuff really feels good." A decade after the organization launched in one California high school, Matthew says, "we're in over 50 schools in 11 states now." As for his ongoing ties to Texas? "It's home," he says. "It has more common sense than some places I've been. It's got great hospitality. When a crisis comes, everyone quickly pulls up their bootstraps and says, 'Well, let's get to work.' But Texans teach our kids, 'Get a passport to get out of here. Go travel the world. Then come back.'" Now that Matthew's back — and half a century into his life, he's content, even if that means he sometimes considers more serious matters than the fun in the sun that used to predominate much of his time. "I didn't turn 50 and go, 'Now, I've got to think about heavy stuff.' If anything, I was happy to go, 'You know what? I guess a feel 50 because I'm 50,'" he says. "But subconsciously, I'm sure it had something to do with it."
Ben Affleck, Ana De Armas 'had great chemistry right form the start' while working on 'Deep Water'
How long have Ben Affleck and his "Deep Water" costar Ana de Armas been spending time together off-set? According to an "on-set source," the pair appeared to keep things work-focused while filming the movie in New Orleans. "They had great chemistry right from the start," the insider tells People. A second source said, "Ben always seemed very relaxed and happy around Ana, but at the time there were no signs of romance," adding that he "was always very focused on making a fantastic movie. He arrived early and was one of the last people to leave." On Thursday of last week, the rumored new couple turned up in Havannah, where they posed for photos with fans. Their trip seemed less about promoting anything than getting to know one another, though — not that we can blame either of them. While Ben's been making it clear he really knows who he is and what he wants now that he's sober, People's source says Ana is 'great and very pleasant to be around," telling the outlet: "She always greets people with a smile and you never hear a complaint. She has this very calm and sweet personality."
Gayle King has 'moved on' from backlash over her mention of Kobe Bryant's rape allegations
Gayle King refuses to stew in the criticism and, in some cases, death threats, she faced after asking a former WNBA star about Kobe Bryant's rape allegations following his death. During a stop on Oprah Winfrey's tour on Saturday, March 7, she said she'd "moved on" from the comments, including those that came from Snoop Dogg. (The two have since made up.) "What got to me was the vitriol and the vulgarity that was just unleashed at me in ways that I couldn't even understand," Gayle told Oprah, according to Page Six. "Is there a scab? Yeah. But I have moved on … I've never lost sight of who I was, what I believe I am and my intention."

As the custody battle between Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna continues regarding their daughter, Dream, Rob recently won a $45,000 lawsuit he'd filed separately against Chyna's ex, Pilot Jones. According to The Blast (via Page Six), Pilot sued Rob and Chyna for cyberbullying and defamation in 2017, claiming they announced he was bisexual without his consent and made his private phone number public. Rob and Chyna denied everything and asked the court to drop the suit. Ultimately, they got their wish. The judge handling the case recently dismissed most of the claims, according to Page Six. Rob got $45, 109 as part of a motion to cover his attorney's fees.
