To say Christina El Moussa is in love with Ant Anstead would be a major understatement. Judging from the tearjerker of an Instagram post she shared on the couple's one year anniversary on Monday, Oct. 29, the "Flip or Flop" star is smitten and completely blissed out about what's apparently been a fairytale romance. "If you aren't in the mood for a sentimental / mushy post I suggest you keep scrolling. 😏…..," she began the message, warning fans she was about to get even more candid than usual about her feelings for Ant. "A year ago today @ant_anstead called me for the first time and we spoke for 29 mins two days later while he was at Sema he FaceTimed me (I was thinking who FaceTimes) anyways I answered and we spoke for 2.5 hours … two days later we met for the first time and we've been inseparable ever since," Christina continued. "#FATE @ant_anstead you have showed me what real unconditional love is. You take me for what I am, flawed and a bit crazy, and love all of me just the way I am. You have never once made me feel bad for anything in my past. You put me in my place when I need to be put there. Hold me when I'm having a bad day. I love this life with you. I love our blended family. I can't wait to see where the next year takes us. Why did Kerry Washington say she's a 'mother of three'?
Sorry, "Scandal" fans –there's no Olivia Pope-esque drama behind the reason why Kerry Washington announced this week that she's a "mother of three." After Kerry stopped by the "Today" show to discuss her Broadway play, "American Son" — and casually corrected Craig Melvin when he said she was a mom to two kids, Isabelle, 4, and Caleb, 2 — social media users began asking if Kerry and her husband, Nnamdi Asomugha, had secretly welcomed another baby. According to E! News, however, Kerry was referring to a stepchild — Nnamdi's 12-year-old daughter from a previous relationship. As for her play, Kerry admitted it's "one of the most challenging projects" she's ever taken on. "It's a really beautiful play about parenting and about love and about identity and race. I feel like the luckiest woman in the world that I get to do it eight times a week. And also…it's really hard!" she said. "We spend 90 minutes with these characters and we really see them. Like, we really listen to them. I don't know that we make enough time for that in our lives, particularly in this country right now, to listen to people who think something completely opposite of us," she noted. "American Son" is currently in previews at the Booth Theater in New York City.

Matthew McConaughey surprises first responders in Houston to thank them for their service during Harvey
Once a Texan, always a Texan! Austin native Matthew McConaughey spent Sunday, Oct. 28, surprising first responders in Houston who helped out during Hurricane Harvey last year with a visit. As a way of marking National First Responders Day, the star used his relationship with Wild Turkey bourbon to thank hospital workers, fire fighters and police officers for their service by bringing them turkeys and, of course, bourbon, as part of the brand's "Wild Turkey Gives Back" campaign. "I'm Texas born and raised, so acknowledging the hard work and dedication of first responders in Houston is meaningful to me personally," Matthew told E! News in a statement. "Over the past year alone with the hurricanes in Puerto Rico, the Carolinas and Florida and the fires in California, the number of heroic men and women on the front lines of natural disasters is staggering," he added. Speaking to fans and friends on Facebook on Sunday, he explained the Houston mission was "about giving back and saying thank you." In return, Houston's mayor Sylvester Turner, shouted out the "True Detective" star on Twitter, saying he'd been "honored to welcome him to our city" and that he wanted to "thank him for spending time and recognizing our @houstonpolice, @HoustonFire, and 911 dispatchers for their service." Last November, Matthew focused his helping hand efforts on Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, where he led a group of volunteers in handing out 4,500 free frozen Butterball turkeys to area residents.

Despite that plan, she's actually been wearing the ring in public for months, including at her July Comic-Con Q&A in San Diego. This week, Page Six asked an expert to take a closer look at the sparkler. "Zoë's ring is a round, bezel-set center stone of approximately two carats," says Alicia Davis, the V.P. of merchandise for Shane Co. Jewelry Designers. "The center stone is accented by smaller, graduated round diamonds set in milgrain bezels." She estimated a ring like Zoe's would cost about $36,000.
Al Roker expected to 'be a big part of' 'Today' show, post-Megyn Kelly
Megyn Kelly's ignominious exit from the "Today" show could be a long-term boon for Al Roker. That's according to TMZ, which reports NBC network sources say that as the show returns to using members of its regular talent pool to cover the 9 a.m. slot Megyn was removed from after suggesting she saw no issue with the use of blackface, Al "will be a big part of" that hour's new staff. Variety, meanwhile, has reported NBC plans to have various "Today" anchors share the hour pending a "permanent solution." Al lost his slot at 9 a.m. last year as plans got underway to add Megyn to the team. He was back in the chair alongside Hoda Kotb and Craig Melvin on Monday, Oct. 29.

Khloe Kardashian isn't sugar coating things when it comes to letting fans see how she was affected by Tristan Thompson's cheating scandal earlier this year. Over the weekend, the reality star noticed a tweet that read: "I feel so bad for @khloekardashian had to go through what Tristan did while filming #KUWTK. If I'm not wrong, next episode will be insane. You're so strong to put that personal issue as part of the show knowing millions of ppl will watch it. I wouldn't be able to do it." She responded by acknowledging that the fan's prediction was on target and pointing out that she's committed to the reality aspect of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians." "Sadly, it will," she replied. "I signed up to show … the good and the bad, right? The bad is very hard to relive but it's life." Tristan recently returned to Cleveland from Los Angeles, where he, Khloe and their daughter, True, spent the summer, for his season with the Cleveland Cavaliers. According to Us Weekly, the family's plan is still for Khloe and True to join Tristan, but a source told the tab earlier this month that she's begun to have "doubts" about their future as their relationship is "extremely strained." A series of recent posts on social media seemed to confirm those doubts, with Khloe posting advice such as "relationships should help you, not hurt you."

At the end of the day, John Krasinski's favorite role is the one he occupies at home with his wife, Emily Blunt, and their daughters, Violet, 2, and Hazel, 4. "We have been working a lot this year and we feel so blessed, but at the same time our kids come first and being together comes first," John continued, adding that he flew home every weekend while he was shooting "Jack Ryan. "[It] is not a job or a duty, it's something I just can't wait to do. I can't wait to get back to them. We always make time to see each other." The couple's new film, "A Quiet Place," was cited among the reasons for the awards the festival bestowed on them this year, but Emily pointed out that working on projects like that is only possible because she and John have such a "secure" home life. "Family is the foundation for why we are able to go off and have fun and have these incredible experiences," she said. "I try to take big stretches between [projects] to be with the kids. Kenya Moore may welcome her child sooner than planned
Like Kim Kardashian West, Duchess Kate and countless others, Kenya Moore's pregnancy has turned out to be complicated — and potentially dangerous. Over the weekend, she revealed she may have to give birth sooner than planned. As the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star told fans on Instagram on Saturday, Oct. 27, she may have preeclampsia, which can cause terrible headaches, abdominal pain and issues with liver and kidney function, according to Page Six. Sharing a photo of her feet, she explained: "I made fun of my swollen feet at @cynthiabailey10 party. Next day my tests came back for possible preeclampsia… I gained 17 lbs in ONE week due to severe swelling and water retention, high blood pressure, and excess protein in urine. This is NOT normal. I took more tests. Baby is fine but if they come back higher #babydaly will have to come same day. Before signing off, she urged other pregnant women to stay in touch with their medical team as much as possible. The importance of voting is "something that was instilled" in Janelle Monae from an early age, and when the mid-term elections roll around on Nov. 6, the singer tells People she "will absolutely be voting." Part of Janelle's commitment to voting goes back to her family history. "My grandmother was a sharecropper. She served food in the county jail for 25 years. She picked cotton, shared one pair of shoes with her 14 brothers and sisters in Aberdeen, Mississippi. Then she migrated to Kansas City, Kansas. And she did not have the right to vote," Janelle says. "She made me promise to her that anytime I had the opportunity to vote, that I would. So, even though all the candidates are not perfect, in honor of my grandmother, I take my butt to the polls." Her grandmother's not the only reason Janelle believes so strongly in the importance of voting. As the founder of Fem the Future, a grassroots organization focused on empowering women, and as a musician whose work often tackles the big issues Janelle sees in the world around her, she feels a sense of responsibility to do what she can to make that world a more equitable place. "I do care about the rights of the LGBTQI community that I'm a part of, I do care about women's rights, I'm a woman, I do care about black folks, minority rights, I'm a black person living in America," she says. "There are a lot of things that I care about, and so, I try to figure out ways in my shows to use my platform to support certain folks. I want to make sure that even in this political climate, that we are taking into consideration, as they're making new laws, as folks are running for office, like who cares about those things that I care about."
Demi Moore gets candid about addiction and recovery
At multiple points in Demi Moore's life, people in her orbit saw she was struggling with substance abuse and helped her get back on track. The actress focused on that support as she accepted the Woman of the Year award at the Peggy Albrecht Friendly House awards luncheon over the weekend in Los Angeles. "I feel like there are defining moments in our lives that shape who we are and the direction we go, and early in my career, I was spiraling down a path of real self-destruction, and no matter what successes I had, I just never felt good enough," Demi told the audience at Friendly House, which supports women recovering from addiction issues, according to People. "I had absolutely no value for myself. And this self-destructive path, it very quickly … brought me to a real crisis point. And it wasn't clear at the time the reason — maybe it was divine intervention — but two people who I barely knew stepped up and took a stand for me, and they presented me with an opportunity," she explained. "In fact, it was more like an ultimatum … unless I was dead, that I better show up," she continued. "They gave me a chance to redirect the course of my life before I destroyed everything. Clearly, they saw more of me than I saw of myself. And I'm so grateful because without that opportunity, without their belief in me, I wouldn't be standing here today." Demi, who first went to rehab in the '80s, then returned to get help for addiction and an eating disorder in 2012, also expressed her gratitude for the support of her daughters and ex-husband, Bruce Willis, before sharing something "a wise teacher" told her "in a moment of great struggle." "'You will never be good enough but you can know the value of your worth. Put down the measuring stick," Demi recalled the teacher telling her. "Today, I put down the measuring stick," she said as she came to the end of her speech, "and I thank you for this beautiful acknowledgment and the opportunity to know the value of my worth."
