Wonderwall.com is taking a look back at the stars who found love, suffered heartbreak or experienced some other major event in their love lives in early June 2019, starting with this comely couple… After days of rumbling that all was not well between Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk, People magazine confirmed on June 6 that the duo — who welcomed a daughter, Lea, in early 2017 and weathered breakup rumors in late 2018 — officially called it quits. The breakup talk started on June 3 when Page Six reported that, according to a source, the pair's relationship was "hanging by a thread." Said the insider, "Because of their daughter, they keep trying. … Things are not good. Neither one is happy. … They couldn't break up when he was doing promotion for 'A Star is Born,' but who knows what will happen now?" Three days later, E! News reported that, according to their source, things have been up and down for the actor-director and the model for a while: "Things get a little bit better but then they find themselves back in the same place of questioning whether being a couple is what's best," said the source. "They want to stay together for their daughter, but neither of them are very happy. … They've spent time apart to test the waters and see if they are better off. … They have a lot invested and it's very difficult to completely walk away from. They are trying out different arrangements and trying to find their way." Later that same day, The Sun reported that the Russian beauty moved out of the home that she and the Oscar nominee shared in the Los Angeles area. "Things are cooling off between Bradley and Irina in a big way. They haven't been good for a few months and Irina decided it would be best if she moved into her own place," said a source, adding that "it's not looking like there's much long left for the two of them together." Nearly two years after they announced their separation following eight years of marriage, Fergie finally filed paperwork to divorce Josh Duhamel at a courthouse in Pasadena, California, on May 31. "They took their time figuring things out and making sure this was the right decision," a source told E! News. "They had a long separation to see if there was any chance of things changing. Over time, it became clear that they had made the right decision and that it was time to move on. … They love each other dearly and they have a great relationship since separating. But they needed to finalize things so they could truly move on and close that chapter of their lives. There was no culprit, it was just time."

Jennifer Lawrence finally opened up publicly about her fiancé, Cooke Maroney, during a June 4 chat with "Entertainment Tonight." Said the actress of why she accepted his proposal, "Well, he's just the best person I've ever met in my whole life. It was a very, very easy decision."
According to TMZ, a judge signed off on Nicolas Cage's divorce from his fourth wife, Erika Koike, on May 31, two months after they tied the knot in a quickie ceremony at a Las Vegas casino. The actor filed for an annulment just four days after they exchanged vows, but Erika argued that they didn't qualify because Nic asked her to give their marriage another go less than two weeks after he filed — thus proving the marriage was the real deal. She also requested spousal support. According to TMZ, it appears as though Erika won the battle for a regular divorce, though it's unclear whether or not she'll get spousal support from her ex.
On June 1, Charlotte Casiraghi and film producer Dimitri Rassam tied the knot in a low-key civil ceremony in the state rooms of Monaco's royal palace — the same venue where the bride's grandmother, Princess Grace, married Prince Rainier in 1956. The duo exchanged vows in front of their children (their son Balthazar, as well as her son from a previous relationship and his daughter from a previous relationship), the bride's mother, Princess Caroline of Hanover, her brothers, Andrea Casiraghi and Pierre Casiraghi, and her uncle, Prince Albert II, as well as the monarch's wife, Princess Charlene, and their twin kiddos, Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques. Charlotte, who's 11th in line to the Monegasque throne, donned a silver brocade Anthony Vaccarello for Saint Laurent minidress when she said "I do." She then changed into a custom Chanel gown for her wedding reception.
The Sun reported on June 5 that Dua Lipa and off-and-on love Isaac Carew — who started dating in 2013, split in early 2017 and then reconciled in early 2018 — recently called it quits again. "Dua and Isaac have really struggled to see each other since getting back together," said a source. "They wanted to make things work and things were great between them for a while but she is just getting busier and busier. She is gearing up to release new music and has basically been performing across the world non-stop for the past three years so it's been tough. It's been a difficult decision but ultimately they haven't been able to make things work."
YouTuber Tasha K said in a May 31 YouTube video that, according to her sources, Porsha Williams and her fiancé, Dennis McKinley, are on the rocks because he had an affair with "WAGS Atlanta" star Sincerely Ward. The same day the video hit the Internet, Dennis's rep told multiple media outlets that he's never met Sincerely and that he's now planning legal action against Tasha for publishing "a series of false, salacious and slanderous allegations" about him. Sincerely also contacted multiple media outlets to shoot down the affair reports, telling Page Six that she has "absolutely no clue" how the rumor started. "No. 1, I know Porsha and I respect Porsha and I would never be involved in this kind of trash," she said. "No. 2, I've never met this guy a day in my life. … I don't know how my name got thrown into it." Porsha, meanwhile, has kept mum on the subject.
Lady Gaga publicly addressed her breakup from ex-fiancé Christian Carino for the first time during a show as part of her "Jazz & Piano" residency in Las Vegas on June 2. Before she launched into a cover of "Someone to Watch Over Me," the Oscar winner told the sold-out crowd, "Last time I sang this song, I had a ring on my finger, so it'll be different this time." Gaga and Christian called it quits earlier this year.
Things between Bella Thorne and her ex-boyfriend, Mod Sun, turned nasty in late May. The trouble started when the rapper joked during an interview with toofab that if the former child star didn't pick up her things from his storage unit, he was going to sell them on eBay. He also said that although "the future is so unpredictable," there's little chance that he and Bella could reconcile because he's sober now and in a much better place. Later, he tweeted a link to the interview, adding that he was "obviously joking" about selling Bella's stuff. That's when the singer-actress chimed in, tweeting, "Awww looks like moddy really wants some press. #hungry also didn't u call the cops on me when I wanted my computer?" She then called him an expletive. Replied Mod Sun, "Well u came over uninvited. 24 hours after we broke up, Thru the backdoor. I wasn't at the house to see what u were gonna take + to be honest bella…ur not the most trustworthy person. I've also told u 6 times since let's SWAP each otherss stuff but which u refuse to gather mine." (Bella's other ex, Tana Mongeau, got involved at this point, tweeting that it "breaks [her] heart" to see the duo feuding so publicly.) After that, Mod Sun went on the "Domenick Nati Show" to reiterate his claims that he was joking about selling Bella's stuff — allegedly just clothes she doesn't wear anymore. He also said that he called the cops on her to protect himself because he was afraid things would turn "ugly." He went on to call Bella's behavior toward him following their split "abusive," saying that he wishes there could be more "respect" between them considering how much they "really, really loved each other." As for their breakup, "I broke up with her. I ended the relationship," said Mod Sun, explaining that he dumped Bella over one specific thing that happened, though he declined to clarify what exactly went down except to say that as far as he knows, she didn't cheat on him. "I ended the relationship with her due to something that happened — a very, very public incident. And that was it. Honestly, I was hoping it would be a wake-up call [for her]. … But instead it served as nothing of the such." He concluded by saying he's not ready to "jump into a new relationship" yet because that would be disrespectful. Speaking of which…
Meanwhile, Bella Thorne and her new boyfriend, Benjamin Mascolo, went Instagram official on June 4. The pop singer posted a photo of himself sticking his tongue out while leaning in to kiss the singer-actress as they showed off their toned torsos. "👼+🐰= 🔥" he captioned the shot. The very next day, though, Bella flirted with ex-girlfriend Tana Mongeau on Instagram, inviting her to "come over" after the YouTuber commented effusively on a photo of Bella posing in a bikini.
Us Weekly reported on June 5 that, according to a source, Scott Disick and Sofia Richie "have talked seriously about getting engaged" and "it's a real possibility." Said another insider, "As it is now, Sofia and Scott look at each other as life partners. … [They] are in a great place and stronger than ever." The first source added that Scott's former partner Kourtney Kardashian, with whom he shares three children, would be "unbothered by the idea of them getting engaged" and would give the couple "her full support." Said the source, "Sofia is really so good with his kids and she has a good friendship and relationship with Kourtney."
Page Six reported on May 30 that, according to their sources, Paris Jackson and boyfriend Gabriel Glenn have "exchanged promise rings" and are "talking marriage." Said one insider, "They're not planning on getting married soon, but that's the long-term plan."
During an interview with "Entertainment Tonight" that popped up online on May 31, Jennifer Lopez said that wedding planning is "going good" — even though she and her fiancé, Alex Rodriguez, "have a pretty busy year ahead" of them. "There's no rush still," she said. "We really see this as something that is gonna be forever, and we're gonna just take our time and do it right and do it not rushed." She added that she's already started casually looking at wedding dresses: "I think the minute that you get engaged, you start looking you start looking at everything," she said. "But only when I have time. Most of the time, I'm working." So will her wedding dress be conservative or classic J.Lo? "I really don't know," said the superstar. "I have to see when we get closer." Meanwhile, Alex took to Instagram on June 5 to share a video from 1998 in which he describes his dream date as simply "Jennifer Lopez." Said the baseball star, "Hopefully you can find me a date with her." He wrote in the caption, "I just had a feeling … always knew." Aww!
During an interview for the cover of the July 2019 issue of British Vogue, which hit the Internet on June 4, Idris Elba said it was "love at first sight" for him and his new wife, Sabrina Dhowre. "We've been literally inseparable since we met," he said. "Sabrina has deepened friendships with people I've known longer than [her], nurturing the best side of me to make me connect to my friends more." He also said that their deep connection helped him accept the idea of getting married for a third time: "You know, I'm 47 this year, been married and lived a full life before I even met Sabrina," said the actor. "It wasn't something that I wanted to do, get married again. But…"
During an interview with Porter that hit the Internet on May 31, Sophie Turner said that she still "doesn't feel like a wife yet" following her May 1 nuptials. "I don't know how I feel," she said. "I mean, I feel good, obviously. But it happened so recently that I'm just kind of floating at the moment." The actress added that when she and Joe Jonas exchanged vows at a Las Vegas wedding chapel, things weren't as spontaneous as they may have seemed: "I think because there are so many annulments and divorces, you can't just get the license at the chapel now, so it does take a little bit of planning," she said, later refusing to confirm or deny that she and her husband are still planning to say "I do" in front of friends and family in France later this month. She went on to say that it "would have been better if no one had known" about the Vegas wedding, which she would've kept secret if Diplo hadn't live streamed the ceremony on Instagram. "It's tricky when people live stream it. … But I actually think it was funny," she said. "I think at some point I would have had to stop saying 'fiancé,' … [but] I would have kept it a secret. Marriage is a private thing between two people and I think that's how it should always be. … It's not about the dress, it's not about the food. In other Jonas newlywed news… During an interview with The Sunday Times that hit the Internet on June 2, Priyanka Chopra clapped back at haters who've criticized her penchant for oversharing about her relationship with her husband, Nick Jonas, on social media. "If I wasn't a famous person and I'd just got married, don't you think my Insta would have photos of me and my husband?" she said. "Just because I'm famous, don't I have the ability to be proud of being a newlywed without people saying that I'm using my marriage? I gave up my right to privacy when I became a public person, it's the deal you make with the devil. But trust me, there are lots of things I still keep personal." As for the critics of the couple's age gap, "People gave us a lot of [flack] about that and still do," she told InStyle during an interview that popped up online on June 5. "I find it really amazing when you flip it and the guy is older, no one cares and actually people like it," she added. Meanwhile, on the June 5 episode of the "Lorraine" show, Nick said of expanding their family, "Me and Priyanka are still newly married, so I think we're taking it day by day, but we want to build a family together for sure. It's in the cards at some point. It's been an incredible first nearly six months of marriage and every day is a learning experience."
During an interview with British Vogue that hit the Internet on June 3, Zoe Kravitz revealed how she and her now-husband, Karl Glusman, first connected: "I love that it wasn't on an app and that it wasn't on a movie set," she said. "My friend knew that I wanted to meet someone — not even to get serious, I think just to get laid, to be completely honest with you — and he brought Karl. I instantly felt something — then he turned around and started talking to the blonde girl next to him and I was like, 'Wait, what?' But he later told me that he was just nervous." They got engaged in early 2018.
The Sun reported on June 3 that David Beckham wants son Brooklyn Beckham to spend less time with his girlfriend, Hana Cross, following the young couple's public spatting during the Cannes Film Festival. According to a source, whose comments should be taken with a grain of salt, the soccer star and wife Victoria Beckham have been "worrying" over how much their firstborn has been fighting with his girlfriend lately. "They've been so up and down these past few weeks and David wants Brooklyn to have a serious think about whether he's got a future with her," said the source. "David has asked Brooklyn to spend more time with [the family] in a bid to get inside his head and help him. He knows that young love can be tough but he doesn't want these public slanging matches to become a regular theme. Rather than interfering, he's trying to play it cool and just give Brooklyn some advice. But it seems pretty clear to everyone around him that David isn't Hana's biggest fan right now."
On the June 4 episode of "The Last Laugh: A Daily Beast Podcast," Sacha Baron Cohen confirmed longstanding rumors that Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock got divorced over her role in his 2006 mockumentary "Borat," which centers around the title character's efforts to make the "Baywatch" alum his wife … ultimately by kidnapping her. After the funnyman revealed that the actress was in on the joke the whole time they were shooting, he added that she "lost a husband" over the film. Sacha explained that he texted Pam after Kid Rock watched the comedy to see what the conservative rap-rocker thought. She texted back to say that they were getting divorced, and when he asked why, she responded, "the movie." Said Sacha, "I thought it was a joke, but then a few weeks later, they got divorced and they put as a reason for divorce: 'Borat.' … I think they were a fantastic couple, so it's a shame. Much better than Julian Assange or whoever she dated later on."
Christina Milian sparked rumors that she and her boyfriend of about two years, Matt Pokora, had gotten engaged when she stepped out for dinner in West Hollywood on June 1 wearing a massive diamond sparkler. Her rep, however, denied the engagement buzz to MailOnline, insisting that the singer was just "wearing a stack of rings."
Dr. Paul Nassif revealed on Instagram that he proposed to Brittany Pattakos during a scenic boat ride on June 1. "This weekend I found out I get to spend the rest of my life with my soulmate… ❤️ 6.1.19 ❤️ #SheSaidYes," he captioned a video depicting the proposal. The "Botched" star was previously married to "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" alum Adrienne Maloof.
Bachelor Nation's Raven Gates — who competed for Nick Viall's heart on Season 21 of "The Bachelor" in 2017 — took to Instagram on June 2 to reveal that boyfriend Adam Gottschalk — who vied for Rachel Lindsay's heart on Season 13 of "The Bachelorette" in 2017 — proposed in Dallas three days earlier. "I'm keeping you forever and for always. We will be together all of our days. Wanna wake up every morning to your sweet face… 💞Always 💞," she captioned a slideshow of photos depicting the proposal. The duo found love on Season 4 of "Bachelor in Paradise" in 2017.
Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright are one step closer to tying the knot. The "Vanderpump Rules" co-star couple had a joint multi-day bachelor and bachelorette party in Miami starting June 4. The duo were joined by her bridesmaids — Stassi Schroeder, Ariana Madix, Kristen Doute, Scheana Shay, Lala Kent and Katie Maloney — and some of their male co-stars — Peter Madrigal, Tom Schwartz, Tom Sandoval and Beau Clark — for various activities, including a boat ride and an outing to WALL Miami at the W South Beach during which all the women donned wedding dresses.
Stephanie Pratt and Derek Peth — who competed for JoJo Fletcher's heart on Season 12 of "The Bachelorette" in 2016 — are no longer an item, the former "The Hills" star told Us Weekly on June 1. "We both just know that [with] long distance, it just wasn't working," said the blonde beauty. "My life is way too drama right now and I would never want to subject that to him. But God, he's just — this is so selfish — but I hope he's single in a year. … Just right now is not the time."
Catelynn Lowell and husband Tyler Baltierra have made it to the other side of their recent rough patch. During an interview with Us Weekly that hit the Internet on June 1, the "Teen Mom OG" star said that she and her longtime love are currently "in a good place." Said the reality star, "We're living in the same place. … We did couple's therapy together and therapy on ourselves as individuals, which I think helped a lot. We were just honest with ourselves and with each other during that time. … I think couple's therapy helped too — learning how to talk and communicate." Catelynn continued, "Tyler and I just click. We're really opposite, but we have a lot of similarities. I just think really open, honest communication [has helped]. During a June 3 appearance on "Good Morning America," Kofi Siriboe finally confirmed that he and Duckie Thot called it quits earlier this year. "I'm single right now," said the "Queen Sugar" star, who was first linked to the model in early 2018. He then implied that his mother may not have been a fan of his ex: "She can see through all the B.S. She's like, 'I don't like her. I'm gonna let you experience that, but I don't like her.' And it's never in a judgy way, it's like… 'Sweet girl, but that's not for you,'" he said. He went on to say that Rihanna is his celebrity crush.
On the June 4 episode of her "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" aftershow, Brandi Glanville revealed that there's a new man in her life: "I would not say that he's a boyfriend because I don't like that word, No. 1," she said. "No. 2, I don't want him to think I like him that much. No. 3, I don't know. He's 10 years younger than me and he's a waiter, so it's just not the best fit right now. … Half the time, I don't understand what he's saying, so we get along perfectly. … He's like, 'Oh, I like you because you're so spicy.' On the May 31 episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," Stedman Graham opened up about his long-term relationship with Oprah Winfrey. "The thing about our relationship is I want the best for her, so I'm dedicated to her happiness. So that's great for her. And I want her to be the best she can possibly be, and she's done a pretty good job of doing it," he said. "For me, I've been able to find my own happiness and divine my own skills, my own talents, my own abilities, and I'm satisfied with that. I'm happy with that. So the combination — when you have a good partner that's able to self-actualize their potential and you're able to self-actualize yours — one and one equals about six."
The Sun reported on May 31 that before she connected with Prince Harry, Duchess Meghan pursued The Wanted singer Max George. "Meghan was reaching out to a number of celebrities in the U.K. as she spent more time there," said a source whose comments should be taken with a grain of salt. "Max was one of the biggest stars in pop music at the time and they connected on Twitter. They swapped a few messages and had a lovely conversation but in the end nothing came out of it — she met her husband soon after. Max had women reaching out to him all the time and didn't remember much about it until Meghan's relationship with Prince Harry. It was a nice friendship and he wishes her well, but he hasn't heard from her since Harry." But on the June 4 episode of the British talk show "The Morning," Max poured cold water on the report: "I don't know where that came from," he said. "I don't know why [the press is] doing this to her at the moment. There was nothing from my side." He then added that "there wasn't" anything from her side either.
In a lengthy June 3 blog post, former "19 Kids and Counting" star Jill Duggar Dillard, who married Derick Dillard five years ago this month, shared her tips for a healthy and happy marriage, including to "have sex often" — "3-4 times a week is a good start," she wrote — and to "guard against fulfilling sexual desires alone." Here are some more of her tips: Pray and fast for your husband. Look for ways to encourage your hubby, serve him and meet his needs.
