It's JAY-Z like you've never heard him: First, he surprised fans when he opened up about his relationship with Beyonce — and his long-alleged infidelities — in lyrics on his newest album, "4:44." Then on July 11, he did it again in "Footnotes for 4:44," an 11-minute video in which he continues to come clean. "This is my real life," he explains in the video. "I just ran into this place and we built this big, beautiful mansion of a relationship that wasn't totally built on the 100 percent truth and it starts cracking. Things start happening that the public can see," he added. "Then we had to get to a point of 'Okay, tear this down and let's start from the beginning.' … It's the hardest thing I've ever done."

JAY-Z isn't the only celebrity who opened up about a relationship in "Footnotes for 4:44." "Grey's Anatomy" star Jesse Williams also briefly appears (as do Chris Rock, Will Smith, Aziz Ansari, Anthony Anderson, Mahershala Ali and more) and what Jesse had to say has raised some eyebrows: "I was in a relationship 13 years, 13 real years, not five years, not seven years, 13 years — and all of a sudden mother f—ers are writing think-pieces that I somehow threw a 13-year relationship — like the most painful experience I've had in my life like with a person I've loved with all of my heart — that I threw a person and my family in the trash because a girl I work with is cute," he said in the video that emerged on July 11. At first, many took it to be a denial that co-star Minka Kelly was involved in his decision to split from wife Aryn Drake-Lee earlier this year, despite widespread reports to the contrary. But later the same day, photos emerged of Jesse and Minka on a movie date in West Hollywood on July 10. Suspicious!

It's finally all out in the open: On July 7, the world learned that Ben Affleck has officially moved on from his marriage to Jennifer Garner when photos emerged of him with "Saturday Night Live" producer Lindsay Shookus on a dinner date on July 6. Then came a barrage of stories questioning when the two actually got together. Multiple outlets including People magazine and "Entertainment Tonight" have quoted sources who insist the romance started several years ago when both Ben and Lindsay were married to other people. (Ben officially split from Jen in 2015; Lindsay and "Late Night With Seth Meyers" producer Kevin Miller started divorce proceedings the same year.) Us Weekly even reported that she left her husband for Ben. Other sources close to Ben have told multiple outlets that though he and Lindsay have been friends for years, they've only recently started seeing each other. On July 11, People further reported that Jen confronted Lindsay in person in New York City in 2015 after she discovered Ben's infidelity, but "Lindsay refused to back down or quit the affair," a source told the magazine. Ben and Lindsay don't seem bothered by the headlines: They've been photographed out and about in Los Angeles on multiple dates in recent days.
Henry Cavill has fallen for a stuntwoman while filming "Mission: Impossible 6," The Sun reported on July 12. The newspaper claims the Superman actor and brunette beauty Lucy Cork have told friends they'll likely go public with their romance in November at the premiere of his movie "Justice League." "Their relationship is the talk of the 'Mission: Impossible 6' film set. When Lucy is around, Henry goes so weak at the knees it's like Superman has had a dose of kryptonite," a source told the paper. "She is super excited to be getting close and personal to Superman. She jokes she's Lois Lane." Henry split from teen college student Tara King in 2016. See Lucy — who's stunt doubled for Rebecca Ferguson, Kate Beckinsale, Annabelle Wallis, Sofia Boutella, Cobie Smulders and more — in action here.
On July 8, "Dancing With the Stars" judge Julianne Hough married Canadian NHL player Brooks Laich on a grassy field in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The bride wore a strapless custom Marchesa gown with Lorraine Schwartz jewels, People reported, while the groom wore a Brooks Brothers tuxedo. Among the 200 guests were Nina Dobrev (who was also a bridesmaid), Julianne's brother, Derek Hough (who served as a groomsman), Mark Ballas, Glen Powell and Aaron Paul. The couple's Cavalier King Charles spaniels, Lexi and Harley, wore flowered collars and served as ring bearers.
Looks like there was something to this after all! Back in February, "Vampire Diaries" alum Nina Dobrev was linked to "Hidden Figures" actor Glen Powell. Then, for months, silence. But in early July, there was a sign: Photos of the pair looking quite loved up in pics from Julianne Hough's wedding photobooth emerged. A source close to Nina told HollywoodLife.com that "Nina is having an amazing time with Glen, she's loving every minute of dating him and is happier than she's been in a very long time." The source further explained that Nina's romance with Glen is nothing like her long relationship with former co-star Ian Somerhalder. "[It] is like night and day," said the source. "With Glen there was this immediate physical attraction and spark. It was instantaneous and full of passion, whereas Nina's love for Ian grew out of friendship; it was much slower and cooler. Nina and Glen can't keep their hands off of each other and there's this crazy strong chemistry between them."
"Dancing With the Stars" pros Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are married! They wed at Oheka Castle in Huntington, New York, on July 8. Us Weekly reported that Peta walked down the aisle to Tchaikovsky's "Nutcracker Suite" in a Karen Sabag Couture ball gown. The wedding party included the couple's 6-month-old son, Shai, as well as Maks' brother, Val Chmerkovskiy, plus bridesmaids Rumer WIllis and Sharna Burgess. Celebrity guests at the Jewish ceremony included Candace Cameron Bure and Nyle DiMarco.
"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" alums Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida, who's serving prison time on fraud charges, are finally, officially divorced. TMZ reported on July 11 that the terms of their settlement deal remain confidential but that a little bit is known about their custody agreement: The exes have joint legal custody of their two sons while Phaedra gets primary physical custody. TMZ said Apollo gets weekly phone calls with their two boys. The end of their marriage has been a long time coming: In 2016, Phaedra claimed they were already divorced, but it turned out that wasn't exactly true. Apparently, the divorce was granted by default in July 2016 because Apollo had failed to respond to Phaedra's filing. But in December 2016, he contested it on the grounds that he'd never been served or given a chance to respond. He then filed for divorce from behind bars.
Is Paris Jackson, 19, dating a man twice her age? On July 9, Michael Jackson's daughter was photographed holding hands with "90210" alum Trevor Donovan, 38, on a walk in Los Angeles' Pacific Palisades area. (DailyMail.com published the images.) As speculation mounted as to whether or not they were romantically involved, Paris took to Twitter to respond — though didn't explicitly deny they were seeing one another. She posted three photos of herself holding hands with female friends, including Sofia Richie, and captioned it, "y'all need to chill lol hand holding is a very common thing." That post appears to have since been deleted.
Things have only gotten sadder since Rob Kardashian went after ex-fiancée Blac Chyna in an epic social media tirade on July 5 — in which he shared her medical information, multiple explicit nude photos and more — and suffice it to say that no one really won. On July 10, Chyna was granted a temporary restraining order against Rob, whom she's accused of slut-shaming and possibly violating California's revenge-porn law. In court documents excerpted by E!, Chyna also said Rob "punched" her and "threatened to kill himself multiple times in text messages since we broke up in December 2016, trying to manipulate me to respond to his outbursts." She's since returned all the jewelry and cars he's gifted her and vowed to move on. Rob, meanwhile, apologized for lashing out at her: His lawyer did not contest the TRO and told TMZ that Rob's cyberbullying was "a spontaneous reaction that he regrets." In a July 10 sit-down with "Good Morning America," Chyna assured viewers she still hoped to co-parent the daughter she shares with Rob. "I would never try to take Dream from her dad," she said.
It's now officially over: On July 10, TMZ reported that "The Real Housewives of Miami" alums Joanna Krupa and Romain Zago have formally filed for divorce. They also already negotiated and signed a marital settlement agreement. It's understood that neither is seeking spousal support and that the split is amicable. One day after their formal filing, the ex-couple were photographed frolicking and swimming together in the ocean in Miami. In May, it was reported that Joanna and Romain had secretly separated in December 2016.
Model Adriana Lima is taking a break from dating athletes: She's been seeing Metin Hara, a Turkish author, for the last month. We realized that we have feelings for each other. Both of us are still getting to know one another." On July 12, they were photographed kissing during dinner at a restaurant in Turkey's Mugla province, ETOnline reported. As they approach their one-year dating anniversary, Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson have officially moved in together. And the NBA star plans to stay in Khloe's Calabasas, California, home until he's due back in Cleveland for training in October, X17online.com reported on July 5. "Khloe's been putting in the time all season, flying out to Cleveland every week to see her man, so now he's giving back — staying with her in L.A. all summer so they don't have to travel to see each other," a source told the site. "They both thought this would be a good test to see if their relationship works when they're together 24/7."

E! reported that Billie has since taken down photos of Taylor from her Instagram page.

On July 6, Meredith took to Instagram to share the news that Patton — whose wife Michelle McNamara passed away nearly 15 months ago — had proposed. "It's official. I'm the luckiest happiest girl in the universe!!!! I love you @pattonoswalt I love you Alice Oswalt! #YesYesYes," she captioned a photo collage of her ring, Patton's proposal message and herself hugging his daughter Alice, 8. Patton took to Twitter to joke, "I put the ring in a marzipan Slave I replica and said, 'Will you be my Padawan of Love?' She maced me but said yes later." Two days after announcing their happy news, the pair took to social media to blast commenters who criticized their swift engagement.
On the heels of an early July cheating scandal with Topshop heiress Chloe Green — and just two days after his wife of eight years, nurse Melissa Meeks, revealed she wanted a divorce — "Hot Felon" model Jeremy Meeks filed for legal separation on July 11, TMZ reported. According to the documents, Jeremy is asking for joint physical and legal custody of their son and curiously listed their date of separation as June 24, which was four days before he was photographed kissing Chloe on a yacht in Turkey — after he told his wife that he was in Europe for work.
Another Bachelor Nation guy is saying goodbye to the single life! Marcus Grodd — who appeared on both "The Bachelorette" (he was in the final four on Andi Dorfman's season) and the inaugural season of "Bachelor in Paradise" — is engaged. On July 6, People magazine revealed that Marcus proposed to Canadian girlfriend Ally Lutar, a marketing and staffing agency owner, on a suspension bridge over a waterfall in Vancouver's Lynn Valley Canyon on May 9. "I wanted her to be completely surprised," he told People. "It was truly the most incredible day of our lives." The pair met through mutual friends at a barbecue in Newport Beach, California, in July 2016. Marcus famously married fellow "BiP" contestant Lacy Faddoul on a Mexico beach in 2015 while ABC cameras rolled, but it was later revealed the wedding wasn't legal. They split less than a year later.

Marc and Raffaella were first linked over Memorial Day weekend when he tweeted a photo of them lounging on a couch together. "Making memories. Happy Memorial Day weekend.
