Fans react to Beyonce hugging Duchess Meghan at 'The Lion King' premiere as Bey, Jay-Z are accused of breaking royal protocol
Remember that time Kim Kardashian West "broke the Internet?" Yeah, neither does the Internet, now that it's witnessed Beyonce greeting Duchess Meghan with a hug and what fans have deemed to be a "hi, my princess" salutation. The made-to-go-viral moment took place at "The Lion King" premiere in London over the weekend. It's been suggested Bey and Jay "broke royal protocol" by arriving after Harry and Meghan, a move that "disrupted the royal security's carefully laid plans" and "completely upstaged the royals," according to an ET source. On the other hand, it's probably fair to say that whenever Beyonce arrived, her interaction with Meghan was sure to upstage most of the premiere's other red-carpet goings-on. According to ET, Bey and Meghan's exchange featured moments in which Queen Bey gushed to Meghan that her new son, Archie, is "so beautiful" and, told the duchess that she and Jay-Z, "love you guys," referring to Meghan and Harry. Jay, meanwhile, gave Harry a dad-to-dad "congrats" on Archie's arrival, while Harry chatted up Queen Bey, noting she's "been rather busy," which to us sounds a wee bit like a nervously blurted out version of, "I am talking to Beyonce, what does one say to the actual queen, help?!" But we digress. Fans picked up on the "my princess" comment from the Mail's video and collectively lost it. "Idk what to focus on ; Queen Beyoncé calling Meghan 'My Princess' or the fact they they are genuinely so happy to see each other 😭😭🥺🥺💞💞," wrote one giddy Twitter user after spotting the Mail's video (via Business Insider). "I didn't know I needed to see Beyoncé x Meghan until today. 🤧🤧🤧😍😍😍 #LionKing," the fan added. Another commenter offered, "Beyoncè telling Meghan 'hi my princess' is the best thing to ever happen to me 🤷🏻♀️," while a third — and the winner, in our book — noted that Meghan and Bey's interaction shall go down in the annals of history. "So the next time someone comes in my thread talking about Meghan is not a Princess…. remember that today July 14 the 2019 Queen Beyonce said 'My Princess,'" the fan tweeted. "The Queen has declared this. So it shall be."
Norman Reedus shares rare, personal pics of Diane Kruger and their daughter on Diane's birthday
Since they were first linked in early 2017, Diane Kruger and Norman Reedus have been super low-pro when it comes to their relationship. But on a special occasion like Diane's 43rd birthday, it seems Norman can't help but celebrate his love for her and their little girl. On Sunday, July 14, the "Walking Dead" star shared a handful of pics, including a sweet photo of him and Diane on the beach watching the sunset and a hilarious one that showed Diane getting her hair yanked on by their daughter. "Happy birthday angel," he captioned the post. The birthday replied, sending some love back Norman's way. And although the couple haven't shared their baby's name with the public, the hair-pulling shot was insider info-y enough for Diane to crack a joke about their daughter's manners, or lack thereof. "I love you and little Etiquette the most," she quipped. (E! News notes that a commenter asked if the baby's name was Etiquette, to which Diane replied, "no, it's not.") Speaking to E! last summer, a source said Norman and Diane's relationship makes sense because "they complement each other really well." "Norman is very free-wheeling and relaxed, and fun," the source said at the time. "Diane is much more analytical and thoughtful. They're very good for each other and are really happy. Norman is genuinely a really good person and he works really hard."

Irina Shayk talks 'natural beauty' and aging: Our imperfections are 'human'
Irina Shayk freely admits she has routines to keep herself looking gorgeous. But she's adamant that those routines do not include plastic surgery. The 33-year-old catwalk stunner appears on the cover of Harper's Bazaar's August digital issue, where she opens up about her perspective on beauty and aging, saying she avoids booze and cigarettes and is a fan of gua sha facial workouts at FaceGym. That's pretty much it, though. "And if I read [a headline] and it's like, 'She had injections, her lips look like dumplings,' I just laugh because it just makes me, I don't want to say it makes me happy, but I think in this life you have to have a sense of humor," Irina explains to Bazaar (via People). "With everything that's going on in the world, you have to take it easy. Some people are going to love you, some people are going to hate you. It doesn't really disturb my life." She adds that, "if somebody wants to inject their lips because they feel bad, God bless them. I don't judge anyone." For Irina, though, it's all about what we're born with. "I always promote natural beauty because I think we live in this perfect world where everyone wants to be perfect," she says. But I'm not perfect. Sometimes I have a double chin. Perfection doesn't exist." Besides, Irina says, "I'm going to have wrinkles and I have wrinkles. You just have to accept the idea of aging and of bodies at every stage, and just celebrate it. In life, we have to let it go and understand it's a human process not to be perfect."
Who is the rumored new 007, Lashana Lynch?
The future is female, indeed! The Daily Mail reports London-born actress Lashana Lynch is set to make history by becoming the first woman to play special agent 007 in the long-running James Bond film franchise. According to the Mail, Lashana will play an agent named Nomi who gets introduced as 007 after James Bond retires from M16, reatreating to Jamaica for a more relaxing life on the sea. (Since Daniel Craig's Bond still appears in the forthcoming movie, we can probably assume his R&R gets put on hold even if Nomi is taking over Bond's agent number.) It would be the first blockbuster role for Lashana, as well. The 31-year-old has previously appeared in the films, "Captain Marvel," "Brotherhood," "Powder Room," and "Fast Girls," plus a few TV shows in which she briefly appeared, according to Us Weekly. An alum of Britain's Arts Educational Schools whose family is of Jamaican descent, Lashana also stars in the Shonda Rhimes-produced series, "Still Star Crossed," but all eyes are now on her "Bond 25" work, some of which she's featured in behind-the-scenes video on her Instagram page. If the Mail's report is correct, Lashana would be the sixth 007, following Daniel Craig, Pierce Brosnan, Timothy Dalton, Roger Moore, George Lazenby and Sean Connery.
Kylie Jenner finds a silver lining in Jordyn Woods' Kardashian-Jenner family betrayal
The aftermath of Jordyn Woods and Tristan Thompson's hookup scandal continues to unfold on "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," and while there seem to be hard feelings all around, Kylie Jenner and Khloe Kardashian also seem to be taking in stride the loss of their best friend and boyfriend, respectively. "I think that this whole Jordyn situation needed to happen for a reason. For me, for her, for you, for everybody," Kylie tells Khloe in a preview clip from the next edition of the show (via InTouchWeekly). "She was my security blanket. She lived with me. We did everything together," Kylie explains. "I just felt like, 'Oh, I have Jordyn. I don't need anything else.' And I felt that there was a part of me that needed to grow without her. Sometimes people are there for certain reasons at certain times in your life and then not there for others." Khloe, who was stunned that Tristan's second cheating controversy involved such a close family friend, responded by praising her little sister for the mature way she was dealing with the situation. "I really respect in you that you're really good at being calm even when you probably do want to scream at someone," Khloe said in the clip. " I think it's just cause you're so confident and so secure in who you are, which is so wonderful, and it's such a really inspiring trait that you have." Kylie threw the praise right back her sis, saying, "I just feel we're all so lucky to have each other because I feel like a lot of the reason why I am the way I am is because of you guys." As the clip comes to a close, Khloe tells the camera, "Everything's supposed to happen for a reason. I feel like this is the season to filter through the bulls—. And you know, only the strong and loyal will survive."
Valerie Harper's friends have set up a GoFundMe page as she continues her cancer fight
Fans around the world are reportedly chipping in to help Valerie Harper shoulder the financial burden of her ongoing cancer treatment. Members of the Screen Actors Giuld recently launched a GoFundMe on the "Mary Tyler Moore Show" alum's behalf in the hopes of offering some reprieve from the expense of the lung cancer and brain cancer the star has been fighting since 2009. "Valerie has been grateful over the years for the medical breakthroughs along this difficult journey but insurance doesn't cover everything," the blurb on the fundriasing page reads (via JustJared). "There are unrelenting medical costs on a continuous basis. Valerie is currently taking a multitude of medications and chemotherapy drugs as well as going through extreme physical and painful challenges now with around the clock, 24/7 care immediately needed which is not covered by insurance. This is just part of the daily cost that is without a doubt a financial burden that could never be met alone. This GoFundMe initiative from Tony, is to ensure she receives the best care possible." Valerie, 79, was first diagnosed with lung cancer in 2009. In 2013, she announced the disease had moved to her brain.

The organization's CEO and co-founder has since told TMZ that thanks in large part to Adam's awareness raising efforts, nearly $15,000 has already been raised. Scarlett Johansson clarifies remarks about casting from new interview
Scarlett Johansson has issued a statement clarifying remarks she's quoted as having made about casting in a new interview with As If magazine. "An interview that was recently published has been edited for click bait and is widely taken out of context," she statement reads, according to Page Six. "The question I was answering in my conversation with the contemporary artist, David Salle, was about the confrontation between political correctness and art. I personally feel that, in an ideal world, any actor should be able to play anybody and Art, in all forms, should be immune to political correctness. That is the point I was making, albeit didn't come across that way." The comments were widely disseminated over the weekend, sparking interest among some who have called out Scarlett in the past for things she's said about her initial casting as a trans man in "Rub & Tug" and her Asian-ified appearance in "Ghost in the Shell." "You know, as an actor I should be allowed to play any person, or any tree, or any animal because that is my job and the requirements of my job," the star was quoted as having said in the interview. "I feel like it's a trend in my business and it needs to happen for various social reasons, yet there are times it does get uncomfortable when it affects the art because I feel art should be free of restrictions." Her statement continues: "I recognize that in reality, there is a wide spread discrepancy amongst my industry that favors Caucasian, cis-gendered actors and that not every actor has been given the same opportunities that I have been privileged to. I continue to support, and always have, diversity in every industry and will continue to fight for projects where everyone is included."
State Department wades into A$AP Rocky 'inhumane' detention in Sweden
Rapper A$AP Rocky's June 30 arrest and subsequent detention in a Swedish prison with allegedly "inhumane conditions" has now garnered concern from the U.S. State Department. In a statement to Politico, a spokesperson for Secretary Mike Pompeo's office said: "There are certainly some facts about the arrest and detention that raise concerns," adding: "We expect all governments, including Sweden, to treat American citizens fairly and with respect. We hope to see A$AP Rocky and his colleagues back on tour and reunited with friends and family soon." The altercation that landed Rocky in jail began when he was in Stockholm for the Smash music festival. Video of the fight published on Rocky's Instagram shows two young men following him and his entourage, seemingly baiting them for a fight even as Rocky can be heard saying he doesn't "want any issues," according to Complex. Rocky says he assumes the guys are "drug addicts," rather than fans. After one of the men threw a set of headphones in the face of Rocky's security guard, Rocky "volunteered" to go speak to police, but he "and his colleagues were arrested on-site," the rapper's manager later told Complex. "The conditions of the facility are horrific and include 24/7 solitary confinement, restriction of amenities for the most basic of human functions, lack of access to life sustaining food, as well as unsanitary conditions," the manager said of conditions at the Stockholm Detention Center. Swedish prosecutors are expected to decide whether they'll prosecute Rocky by Friday, according to Page Six. There's wiggle room for them to get an extension, though. In the meantime, Rev. Al Sharpton has been raising awareness about the situation alongside the National Action Network and members of Rocky's family and a petition for his release signed by Jada Pinkett Smith and other celebs has been gaining traction online.
Kelly Clarkson advises Taylor Swift to re-record the music Scooter Braun bought in his Big Machine Records acquisition
If Kelly Clarkson were in Taylor swift's shoes, she'd be getting creative about the whole Scooter Braun / Big Machine Records fiasco. Over the weekend, Kelly tweeted a suggestion to Taylor, who's been vocal about her feeling Scooter bought her older masters for the same reason he's allegedly been "bullying" her for years. "@taylorswift13 just a thought, U should go in & re-record all the songs that U don't own the masters on exactly how U did them but put brand new art & some kind of incentive so fans will no longer buy the old versions," Kelly tweeted on Saturday, July 13. "I'd buy all of the new versions just to prove a point 💁🏼♀️." Unfortunately, Page Six reports Taylor's current deal with Universal Music group probably precludes her from re-recording music she originally recorded for her old label, Big Machine. A music industry source also questioned Taylor's claim that she had no knowledge the sale was going down, blasting her for "playing the victim," when she has plenty of money to have bought the catalog or the whole company herself if she really wanted it.
