If there's any truth to a new report from Radar, Miranda Lambert's new husband, NYPD cop Brendan McLoghlin, may have wanted to keep their wedding a secret to minimize fall-out from some of his exes. According to Carol Bruno, the mother of Brendan's ex-fiancee, Jackie Bruno, Brendan "got another girl pregnant" after getting engaged to Jackie (via InTouch). Carol says that while her daughter "was in Sweden playing professional soccer, [she] got injured and came home, and the girl contacted her. She broke the news to her. .. [Brendan] tried to deny it and then begged her to stay with him. She was only going for a few months to play, he was begging her to marry him before she left, even though he knew the girl was pregnant." The girl Carol's referring to is reportedly Brendan's now-ex, Kaihla Rettinger. She had the baby in November of last year, making Brendan a first-time dad. In Page Six's account of Carol's story, the angry mom says, "He could have just broken up with her and Jackie never would have known. He lived a secret life for several months." She also claims "he hid" the alleged "secret life" very well," which might give Miranda reason to think twice about her and Brendan's plan to split time between his home in New York City and her home in Tennessee. In the meantime, at least she has all the makings for a perfect country song …

As for that Oscar, the 46-year-old star recalls. "Jack Nicholson gave it to me," adding, "There's a funny story where he'd been trying to ask me out before, and I was like, 'I have a boyfriend!'" It's unclear which beau she was referring to, but ET reminds us Gwyneth split from Brad Pitt in 1997 after the two got engaged and before she began dating Ben Affleck. Whomever the lucky guy was, Jack apparently handled the situation in style. She says he sent her a sweet note after she walked offstage so overwhelmed she'd forgotten to take it her envelope from the screen legend. Today, she says, "I have it framed." Things were less copacetic after she turned down her "Shakespeare in Love" producer at Miramax. "I had one really uncomfortable, weird experience; then he was never inappropriate with me again in that way," she recalls of her interaction with the former Miramax and Weinstein Co. exec. " … He was a bully. I never had a problem standing up to him. I wasn't scared of him. I also felt for a period of time, I was the consumer face of Miramax, and I felt it was my duty to push back against him. We had a lot of fights," she explains. "He was a very difficult boss. It was a fraught relationship. We would get in knock-down, drag-out fights. I remember once, my mother [Blythe Danner] walked in a room, and I was yelling at him about something. She was like, 'Who was that on the phone?' [She responded] 'Oh, my goodness, good for you. Stand up for yourself.'" The two apparently fought about casting, says Gwyneth, noting that she almost turned the part down to begin with because of her painful split from Brad [Pitt]. Ultimately, she says, "It's a beautiful film — a movie is not going to be successful if it's not a good movie, not like that." Proof of its staying power was evident in the vows Gwyneth's husband made at their September nuptials. "In my husband's wedding vows, he actually said it's no coincidence that I played this muse, because that's who I am to him, and his perception is that's who I am in real life," says Gwyneth. "It was really sweet."

Farm life is as farm life does — except when the farmer's from the L.A. At least, that's the gist of Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger's latest baby lamb post on Instagram. This one was actually a team effort, of sorts, with Chris starring in and captioning the post that appeared on his fiancee's feed on Monday, Feb. 19. "I have often wondered why his hands were so rough," the caption begins. "Now I know. He works the farm. He's a real man." From there, Chris admits he's the author of the post — and gets a silly about his pseudo-farmer look. "Katherine asked me what to write so I wrote the above even though it is not true," he wrote. "Full disclosure: I have very soft hands. I literally cut my hand today I think, on a lamb. I am from Hollywood. Love, Chris #farmlife."

Did Tom Cruise really tell sailors not to look at or touch him while filming 'Top Gun: Maverick?'

A report surfaced over the weekend claiming Tom Cruise was being "arrogant" and telling sailors not to look at or touch him while filming part of "Top Gun: Maverick" aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt in San Diego. Now, that claim is being denied by an officer who ranks higher in the Navy than the initial source, as well as by Naval escorts who present during the shoot, according to the Daily Mail. "Tom Cruise and the cast were nothing but gracious and professional during filming to all of the sailors." the official clarified. "At no time did Tom Cruise say to a sailor, 'Do not look at me. Do not touch me.'" Suggesting the person who made the allegation Tom had been rude had simply misunderstood the orders he was given for dealing with the film crew, the Navy official noted that Tom even "addressed the crew and personally thanked everyone for their support at the captain's 'all hands on deck' call on Friday.'" "Top Gun: Maverick" is set to hit screens June 26, 2020.

After 11 "Madea" movies, Tyler Perry is ready to say "goodbye" to his long-running spoof character. "I've made my last Madea. It made so many people laugh, but turning 50 I don't want to be her age playing her," he recently told Page Six. Appropriately, the final film, "Tyler Perry's a Madea Family Funeral," due out March 11, focuses on laying Madea to rest. Perhaps less appropriately, it's not ditching any humor for the sake of its heavier subject matter. "Look, nothing's funnier than stuff that happens at a black funeral," says Tyler. "Who'd let Madea plan a nice burial? And with a Beyoncé hat on? If you're looking for 'Schindler's List,' this ain't it. I just want to make people laugh."

Halsey clarifies pregnancy rumors as fans flip out over her 'biggest secret'

A tweet Halsey sent out on Monday, Feb. 18, sent her fans into overdrive on social media — primarily because they took it as a hint the singer is pregnant. Spoiler alert: She's not. "I have The Biggest Secret (unrelated to the album) and when u guys hear it, some of you are gonna explode. into actual pieces," read the 24-year-old's initial post. It wasn't long before she felt obligated to clarify. "People think my last tweet is me hinting I'm pregnant, which means I'm either: a. gaining weight b. acting weirder than usual," she joked (via the Daily Mail). "Jokes on u, I'm doing BOTH!" she continued. "However STILL not pregnant!" Halsey's currently dating fellow musician, Yungblud (Dominic Harrison). Jada Pinkett-Smith and Willow Smith disagree on white privilege, Anne Hathaway in new Red Table Talk

In the latest edition of Jada Pinkett Smith's "Red Table Talk," Jada tackles issues around white privilege and racial prejudice. ET reports that one of the guests who sat down with the actress-turned talk show host, her daughter, Willow Smith, and her mom, Adrienne Banfield-Jones, was activist Rachel Cargle. Between them, they couldn't seem to quite agree where or how white women fit into the picture of recognizing and doing something about their own privilege. "As women of color, we really have to recognize when white women come in to help that we make room for it," Jada said. "Because there's been a couple of times, like when Anne Hathaway, or…" Before Jada could go into detail about the recent controversy that followed Anne's post about Nia Wilson's murder at the hands of a white man, 18-year-old Willow chimed in. "It's trust issues," Willow said. When Rachel agreed, Jada said, "I understand that, Rachel. I get it. But at some point, where are we as black women going to be able to recognize an ally?" Rachel replied: "It's not a matter of black women saying, 'Hey, we're open to you being an ally to us.' It's white women showing up and saying, 'You have a righteous anger. You're allowed to be livid at the things we have imposed on you over history.' … Either [white women are] the hero or they're the victim. They rarely take responsibility." In Anne's post, she wrote, "White people — including me, including you — must take into the marrow of our privileged bones the truth that ALL black people fear for their lives DAILY in America and have done so for generations." It seems that didn't go far enough for Rachel and Willow, while Jada maintained there can be an exclusionary vibe set up when white women join the conversation. "You have to earn that trust. You have to earn that relationship," said Willow before her grandmother noted "white women have deceived us over and over and over again." Finally, Jada agreed "that we have to take leaps [of faith]" when it comes to these matters. "All I'm saying is we need them, they need us, we need you, we need each other," Jada added. "We have to be able to sit in a bit of vulnerability to allow for a certain kind of healing to occur."

A Jonas Brothers reunion is reportedly in the works

The Jonas Brothers are reportedly following in the Spice Girls' reunited footsteps and putting the band back together. Multiple Us Weekly sources have confirmed the news, which comes on the heels of at least a year's worth of reunion rumors. And while Nick Jonas, Joe Jonas and Kevin Jonas have not yet addressed the reunion, Us claims they're set to change their name to JONAS (via Cosmo). Speaking to The Sun, a source said: "After enjoying solo music success and taking time to work on passion projects, they feel that now is the right time to get back together."

Kourtney Kardashian takes the kids out for dinner with Travis Barker

Over the weekend, Kourtney Kardashian stepped out with friends including Blink-182 drummer, Travis Barker. But before you get any romantic ideas about the two, E! News reports they've been buddies and neighbors for years. The pair reportedly enjoyed dinner at Nobu Malibu, along with their respective children. "It was a family dinner. They've been friends for years. They've lived in the same neighborhood for a long time and they see each other at church and with their kids," an insider explained to E! News. "They've hung out together many times and often get together with the kids to see movies or to get ice cream. They always have fun together. He's a nice guy and their kids really get along well. Kourtney has his kids over playdates and vice versa."

Dolly Parton addresses rumors about her sexuality

Dolly Parton is setting the record straight on rumors she may have more than a platonic relationship with her best friend, Judy Ogle. "So people say that — because you can't really have a great relationship with a woman. I'm not gay but I have so many gay friends and I accept everybody for who they are," she explained to The Sun in a new interview published this week. "Well, people love to talk, people love to gossip," continued to the legendary singer, who's been married to Carl Thomas Dean for 53 years.
