Is Dog the Bounty Hunter ready to marry again?
In a wide-ranging interview with the New York Times published earlier this month, Duane "Dog the Bounty Hunter" Chapman said he's been extremely lonely since the death of his wife, Beth Chapman. "I need love," he told the outlet. Judging from Dog's recent appearance on "The Dr. Oz Show," he may have found it. On Tuesday, Jan. 28, Dr. Oz shared a preview clip filmed last week that showed Dog and Beth's best friend and former assistant, Moon Angell. Moon is the maid of honor pictured beside Beth in photos from Dog and Beth's 2006 wedding. She previously dated Dog's son — and is now rumored to be dating Dog, much to the chagrin of his family. The "Dr. Oz" clip is captioned, "a marriage proposal?" with a caveat that, "after weeks of family turmoil, [Dog and Moon] … set the record straight." In the clip, Dog says, "Moon Angell, will you marry me?" But "Dr. Oz Show" sources tell TMZ no ring was exchanged and there are neither wedding nor engagement plans for the two. According to TMZ's family sources, Dog "was overly emotional and got caught up in the moment." Insiders on the show reportedly say Dog believes God "told him he should propose" during a break from filming. Sources close to Moon, meanwhile, tell TMZ that like Dog, Moon has been grieving since Beth's death in June 2019. As a couple, she's reportedly been able to help him "get through" it all. The full interview airs Monday, Feb. 3.

Michael Strahan says his 'Live!' exit was 'really not a choice'
Rumors of tension between Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan when they shared hosting duties on "Live! With Kelly and Michael," predated Michael's surprise 2016 announcement that he was leaving for a post on "Good Morning America." His exit certainly didn't help the pair's relationship, but as he explains in an interview with the New York Times published this week, he's long felt the whole thing "could have been handled better." The Q&A focuses on the former New York Giants star's life after football, giving him a chance to compare the work environments of the NFL and TV. From Michael's perspective, the selfishness of one person makes it hard for everyone to do their jobs effectively in the team settings required of both worlds. "I've had jobs where I got there and felt like: 'Wow, I didn't know I was supposed to be a sidekick,'" he says. "I thought I was coming here to be a partner." When the Times asks if that's a reference to "Live!," Michael says, "It was an experience!" He goes on to imply the decision was out of hands. "I didn't wake up and say, 'I want a job at 'GMA.' I was asked to do it by the people who run the network. It was really not a choice. It was a request. But it was treated as if I was the guy who walked in and said, 'I'm leaving,'" he recalls. "That part was totally misconstrued, mishandled in every way. People who should have handled it better have all apologized, but a lot of the damage had already been done. For me, it was like: Move on. Success is the best thing. Just keep moving." He adds that his attempts to discuss matters with Ripa mostly fell on deaf ears, as she thought it was unnecessary, and that, "when it was time to go, it was time to go." Still, Michael spoke of Kelly in purely respectful terms, saying she taught him "how to craft a story," as Regis Philbin had likely taught her. "She's brilliant in that way," he says. "If people think, Oh, he hates her — I don't hate her. I do respect her for what she can do at her job. I cannot say enough about how good she is at her job."
New details on why Taylor Swift reportedly bailed on Grammys performance
Taylor Swift reportedly axed what was planned to be a surprise performance at the Grammy Awards at the last minute. According to Page Six, her decision was tied to her feud with Scooter Braun. It seems one of the sexual misconduct allegations that hit the Recording Academy the week before the event targeted the organization's lawyer, Joel Katz. The Post claims that's the same man who allegedly "drafted the legal papers that Swift claims have prevented her from performing her own songs live" following Braun's purchase of her old label, Big Machine Records. "[Katz] is at the forefront of sexual-harassment allegations," a source tells Page Six. "There is no way she was going to support that. Taylor is about supporting women." He also reportedly negotiated the sale between Braun and Big Machine last year. Swift's rep has not commented.

Lizzo reveals her perfect, go-to response to the word 'no'
Newly minted three-time Grammy winner Lizzo covers the new issue of Rolling Stone. And while she gets deep about everything from self-love and pain to her flute's name ("Sasha Flute," obviously) in the feature, the mag just released a rapid-fire "Say Anything" video in which the star took a break from her cover shoot with David LaChapelle to answer some random questions she pulled out of a bejeweled box. Appropriately, her answers included some gems. Asked to share the weirdest thing she's ever asked Siri, she said nada: "I don't use Siri because she's the feds," she said tossing the question behind her and reaching in to pull out another. Asked to finish the sentence, "people don't realize …," Lizzo wisely noted, "People don't realize what they don't want to realize — and I think that they need to f—-' get woke." Finally, Lizzo pulled out a question about her response when she hears "no." "When I hear no I say … no doesn't really stop me. So so I say alright let me just do me." Words to live by …
Has Zac Efron moved on from Sarah Bro with his 'Neighbors' costar?
Zac Efron may have moved on from his romance with Olympic swimmer Sarah Bro with actress Halston Sage. That's according to Us Weekly, which reports Zac and Sarah recently called time on their relationship of less than a year. "The relationship just wasn't working out," says an insider. "She came back to L.A., and it never got going again." A second source, however, says Zac, 32, is not seeing Halston, whom he was briefly linked to around the time they costarred in "Neighbors," but that the two "spent the holidays together" and are "in a serious relationship and in love."
Jessica Simpson: 'I needed to confront my abuser'
Jessica Simpson recently told the New York Times she hasn't told her ex John Mayer about her new memoir, "Open Book," in which she describes how alcohol and stimulants began ruling her life during their unhealthy relationship. But Jessica has confronted the person who, as she also reveals the memoir, sexually abused her from ages 6 to 12. In "Open Book," Jessica, now 39, recalls how the older daughter of a family friend used to "do things that were extremely uncomfortable" when Jessica's family would visit and the two girls would share a bed. "As a child, I didn't know what was going on," she tells People. "I just knew I wanted to protect everybody else in the room." She was understandably traumatized by the abuse, which ended when she told her parents (though they never discussed it with her), and she writes about how far-reaching the fear and pain from what happened became. She's been sober since November 2017 and as she explains to People, confronting her abuser was a necessary part of her recovery. "I needed to confront my abuser. It was extremely painful and still is. It's still shocking. That little girl in me wanting to do the right thing, not knowing how to stand up for herself and not knowing how to stop it," Jessica says. "I felt like a lot of who I am, the character of who I am, was built through the trials and the pain of abuse. I allowed it to happen, so I felt that I was as much of the abuser as the abused. So I was very shameful during that time, from 6 to 12 years old." Today, Jessica shares three kids and a happy marriage with Eric Johnson. "As a mother, that's why I wanted to tell people about it," she adds, "… that it's not your fault." "Open Book" is due out Feb. 4.
Ariel Winter gets some birthday love from her boyfriend and 'Modern Family' sis
Ariel Winter celebrated her 22nd birthday on Wednesday, Jan. 29, with warm wishes from both her new guy, Luke Benward, and Sarah Hyland, who plays her sister on "Modern Family." "Happy birthday bunny!!" Ben wrote on a sweet Instagram Story post (via People). A second post showed the couple holding each other and grinning. "You're a dream," he captioned the pic. Ariel's costar Sarah, 29, used the occasion to point out how much their bond as deepened over the time they've worked together. "@arielwinter turns 22 and I realize I've known her exactly half her life," Sarah wrote next to a photo from the set. "It's been an honor and a privilege to have not only worked with you the past 11 years, but to have our relationship grow in to sisterhood," she continued. "The Dunphy sisters might have an expiration date but I hope ours never does…. like twinkies 😂 Happy Birthday you gorgeous woman! ❤️❤️❤️."
Teresa Giudice explains why she had a second breast augmentation
Teresa Giudice is explaining why she went back under the knife for another breast augmentation. In a long Instagram post this week, the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star praised her surgeon, Dr. Aviva Preminger, for making her feel "comfortable" during the procedure. "I believe it's important to always stand strong and feel like your best most confident self," the 47-year-old mother of four began. "10 Years after my first Breast Augmentation I decided to have my breasts re-done. I am so thankful for Dr. Preminger @premingermd. She was amazing, and so professional. I absolutely loved her and could not be happier with the results. I was very nervous to re-do my breasts , but I felt it was necessary for me to feel like my best self," she continued. "I encourage anyone who doesn't feel their best self to work on feeling better. Even if it is the smallest thing every day." The post — which Teresa said in her hashtags was not a paid ad — went on to recommend Dr. Preminger, who Teresa said kept her calm through the whole thing. "I felt like she understood me, and really made me feel comfortable," she wrote. Teresa's first round of chest surgery came in 2008 while she was filming Season 1 of "RHONJ." According to People, the reality star told Andy Cohen in November 2018, "I changed out my implants … like, five weeks ago," which would mean the post she shared this week was in reference to the surgery she had just over a year ago.
Will Priyanka Chopra Jonas join the cast of the new 'Matrix' movie?
At last week's World Economic Forum at Davos, Switzerland, Global Citizen ambassador Priyanka Chopra Jonas praised the organization for using technology "to give citizens … the ammunition and the knowledge … to be agents of change, to implore and demand change from the governments that promised it." Turns out she's also been working towards another tech-focused goal, albeit a less lofty one. Variety reports the actress is in the final round of negotiations to join the cast of the fourth "Matrix" film alongside Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss and Neil Patrick Harris. The project is still untitled, but insiders tell the outlet the actors involved have already been "in fight training" ahead of production, which reportedly kicks off soon in Northern California.
Nikki and Brie Bella are pregnant, due just over a week apart
Retired WWE stars Nikki and Brie Bella announced this week that they're both pregnant and due a week and a half apart. Speaking to People, Brie admitted she thought folks would think she and her twin sister were joking or "planned it," adding, "but you can't really plan a pregnancy!" While this is baby No. 1 for Nikki and her fiancé, dancer Artem Chigvintsev, it will be the second little one to join the family she shares with her wrestler husband Daniel Bryan. But neither sister expected to get pregnant. Nikki says she needed a whole week to "come to terms" with the fact she was having a baby. Bella, meanwhile, had stopped trying to conceive a sibling for her 2-year-old Birdie when she learned she was pregnant. Now, they're even sharing the same pregnancy symptoms. Congrats!
