Restraining order
A judge granted former "The Bachelor" star Cassie Randolph a temporary restraining order against ex-fiancé Colton Underwood on Sept. 14. Cassie alleged that Colton, who headed season 23 of the "The Bachelor," was harassing her and her family and even put a tracking device on her car. Colton must now stay at least 100 yards away from Cassie, her home and her workplace. In her complaint, she attached several text messages from Colton which she claims show stalking. "Ms. Randolph's friend, Caelan, visited her at her apartment. Mr. Underwood somehow immediately knew, and obsessively called and sent text messages to Ms. Randolph about the visit. Ms. Randolph was startled that he knew who was coming in and out of her apartment and felt like she was being watched," court records state. The restraining order expires Oct. 6.

Post-split drama
"Iron Chef" star Cat Cora claims her ex-wife is trying to "destroy" her life via a campaign of cyber-stalking, mental and emotional distress and abuse. The famed chef is now asking the court to grant her a restraining order against her ex, Jennifer. Cat argues that Jennifer has made her life "a nightmare that I can't wake up from." In her court filing, Cat, who shares four children with Jennifer, said her ex is "an uncooperative co-parent." In Cat's court filing, she details other alleged incidents painting Jennifer's behavior as confrontational or harassing. "She has never cared if I needed to be with my mom, or the kids or anything," Cat claims in her petition for a restraining order. "Her whole goal in life is for me to fail, be destroyed, not have a relationship with the kids, for everyone to know I am a BAD person. … She is desperately trying to make me seem like a bad person, bad mother, anything to hurt me." Cat's current wife, Nicole Ehrlich, is also seeking a restraining order against Jennifer. While speaking to Page Six, Nicole said of Jennifer, "Her power and happiness come from making Cat miserable."

Bladder chatter
For much of the week, Kanye West unloaded on the music industry, claiming it was a "modern day slave ship." Soon, the rapper began advocating for artists and athletes, especially Black artists, to free themselves from their contracts. He then took his feud to another level. On Sept. 16, he posted a video to Twitter that appears to show him urinating on one of his Grammys. The video shows the award in a toilet. "Trust me … I WONT STOP," Kanye captioned the video, an apparent reference to his record label feud. He then continued, "TRUST ME I WONT STOP UNTIL ALL IS FAIR TRUST ME FROM NAT YE AKA BABY PUTIN." Earlier in the week, Kanye had been railing about Universal Records not selling him his master recordings. He then uploaded copies of his 10 Universal Records contracts and implored "every lawyer in the world" to look at them. After his rant (and urination video), Kanye was kicked off Twitter for 12 hours.
Prison assignment
It looks like Lori Loughlin will be spending the holidays at the FCI Victorville penitentiary. On Sept. 16, Us Weekly reported that a judge signed off on the "Fuller House" star's request to serve her two-month prison sentence — the result of her involvement in a college admissions scandal — at the low-security prison in Victorville, California. The Bureau of Prisons has final say on Lori's prison location, but the likelihood of the judge's order being overruled is incredibly low. The actress already has a registration number assigned to her, Us reported, and she's been ordered to surrender to the facility no later than 2 p.m. on Nov. 19, 2020.
Perfume deal drama
"Star Wars" actor John Boyega is stepping down as a brand ambassador for British perfume and candle company Jo Malone after he was cut from and replaced in one of the brand's advertisement videos in China — an ad he created. "Their decision to replace my campaign in China by using my concepts and substituting a local brand ambassador for me, without either my consent or prior notice, was wrong. The film celebrated my personal story — showcasing my hometown, including my friends and featuring my family," John tweeted on Sept. 14. "While many brands understandably use a variety of global and local ambassadors, dismissively trading out one's culture this way is not something I can condone. It's back to back but I assure you this will be dealt with swiftly. I don't have time for nonsense. We press on and strong. Stay blessed people."
"SNL" gig
Vice President… Jim Carrey! Well, sort of. On Sept 16, "Saturday Night Live" announced that the funnyman would be playing former VP and 2020 presidential hopeful Joe Biden on its upcoming season. "There was some interest on his part. And then we responded, obviously, positively. But it came down to discussions about what the take was," "SNL" creator Lorne Michaels told Vulture. "He and [head writer] Colin Jost had a bunch of talks. He and I as well. He will give the part energy and strength, and… Hopefully it's funny." On past "SNL" shows, the politician was played by Woody Harrelson and Jason Sudeikis.
Mea culpa
Stassi Schroeder called herself a "Karen" in her first public comments since being fired from "Vanderpump Rules" in June. While chatting with talk show host Tamron Hall, Stassi said she was embarrassed about her past racist actions, acknowledging that she's "been a part of the problem for years now." The reality TV star was quick to note that she doesn't feel like she's a victim of cancel culture and said she needed a bit of a reality check. She vowed to work on herself and learn and acknowledged that some people will always think she's a racist. "That is absolutely the hardest part, just going out to a restaurant or going to the grocery store and wondering if that's what people think," she said. "And throughout this whole thing I recognize, I never felt like I was a racist, I don't have hate in my heart, but I recognize that I wasn't anti-racist. I wasn't, and that's something I've been learning throughout all of this."
Bedrest… and a boy
Earlier in the month, pregnant Chrissy Teigen was placed on bed rest. She's admitted she didn't take it seriously enough… and now she's paying for it. "I didn't really know that bed rest was in bed. I honestly thought bed rest was you have to really, really relax, stay home," she said on her Instagram Story on Sept. 15. "I thought it could be couch rest. But now I'm in trouble. Now I need bed rest." Chrissy, who's expecting her third child with husband John Legend, said she's trying to be healthy for her unborn baby. "It's a bit of a difficult pregnancy. I feel good though. I will say I'm probably being punished for talking so much about how great the first two went," she said. "I was like, 'Oh yeah, pregnancy's awesome!' But now I get it. I get anyone that thinks it's not so awesome but very happy to be carrying this baby." Bed rest, she said on Twitter, is "crappier than it sounds." On Sept. 17, she accidentally revealed on Instagram Live that she's having a boy while talking about her "super-weak" placenta, which is why she'd bed-bound. "It's so weird because the baby's really, really healthy, he's big. He's probably…," she said before stopping and covering her mouth, realizing what she did. "I'm stupid," she added.
Shocking arrest
Jeremiah "Jerry" Harris — one of the breakout stars from the Emmy-winning Netflix docuseries "Cheer" — was arrested for production of child pornography and formally charged on Sept. 18. According to a criminal complaint filed in the U.S. District Court in Chicago, the cheerleader, 21, is accused of "enticing an underage boy to produce sexually explicit videos and photos of himself." The boy was 13 at the time, according to prosecutors, as reported by CNN. On Sept. 18, Monica Aldama — the head coach of the Navarro College cheerleading squad featured on "Cheer," who is currently competing on "Dancing With the Stars" — posted a statement on Instagram in which she said in part, "My heart is shattered into a million pieces. I am devastated by this shocking, unexpected news. Our children must be protected from abuse and exploitation…"
