Gwen Stefani admits to Ellen Degeneres she wants to marry Blake Shelton

He loves hanging out with her kids. He can't stop gushing about her singing talent. They even work well together. So when can we expect to Gwen Stefani's left ring finger all blinged out, courtesy of Blake Shelton? If Ellen DeGeneres has her way, the answer is sooner rather than later. When Gwen stopped by "Ellen" to talk about her new Las Vegas residency on the Tuesday, April 10, edition of the show, the host wasted no time cornering Gwen on the latest round of rumors suggesting she and Blake are getting ready for a trip down the aisle. After joking that Blake "got sexier" when he was named People's Sexiest Man Alive in 2017, Gwen admitted that in her eyes, her man "just keeps getting better and cuter and more country," (via E! News). The singer also admitted she gets "nervous" when Ellen brings up Blake. "I just feel like for some reason the cameras are rolling and I shouldn't say something," she said with a shy smile. Soon enough, Ellen gave Gwen her best pitch for an honest update on the engagement rumors. "If I say, 'We are,' then I say, 'We are!' And if I say, 'No, we're not,' then that would be sad, too." Gwen then turned the tables on Ellen, asking, "What do you think I should do about it?" Ellen quickly responded, "I think you should get married," asking, "Don't you?" As Gwen giggled like a schoolgirl, issuing a faux-exasperated, "What are you doing?! God!" Ellen pointed out she was simply responding to the question she'd been asked. "You came to me! I'm not at your house," Ellen said. "It seems like you came to me for advice, and you're asking me, and I'm telling you, 'Yes, y'all should get married." That's when Gwen kind of just gave in. "You know, what? I love weddings. The kids love him. We love him. Everybody loves him. He is lovable!" she told the host, who suggested Gwen "just think about it." Said Gwen: "I do. I think about it all the time." Asked if Blake thinks about it, too, Gwen giggled again: "I swear … I don't know!"

Alleged bank robber says he did it to impress Taylor Swift

Pro tip: Robbing a bank rarely helps one get dates — particularly with celebs whose net worth far outweighs whatever a teller may have lying around in the till. It seems Bruce Rowley missed this memo. TMZ reports police arrested Bruce in Ansonia, Connecticut last week after chasing him from Rhode Island because of an alleged bank heist. When they caught up with him, he reportedly confessed he'd demanded money from a teller at the bank in question. The teller reportedly handed over some cash and, according to Bruce, he promptly headed to Taylor's home, where he said he tossed some money over her fence because he has a crush on her and wanted to impress her. He also reportedly said he was going to donate some of what he stole to the local police department in Ansonia. Between that and the fence-money-giveaway, he apparently thought Taylor would be putty in his hands … we guess?! As of Tuesday, March 10, Bruce was being held on bail, having been cited for second degree robbery and fourth degree larceny.

Nick Loeb argues he should get custody of Sofia Vergara's embryos because of slavery-era legal precedent

Sofia Vergara's ex is trying out a new angle in his protracted legal battle over embryos the two created in 2013 when they were still together. He recently filed new documents in his latest suit against Sofia (the last one was tossed by a judge who ruled the case to have been out of the jurisdiction of the state of Louisiana, where it was filed, since the embryos were made in California) in which Nick likens the embryos to slaves, citing pre-Civil War legal precedent regarding human property. The filing then tries to draw a parallel to the story "12 Years a Slave" was based on. In the documents, excerpted by The Blast, Nick and lawyers declare: "There was a question at the time as to whether New York had the jurisdiction to reach into Louisiana and retrieve Northup. But the New York governor discussed it with Louisiana officials and they were allowed to retrieve him. There are also dozens of cases (called the Freedom Suits), where slaves themselves or their family members applied for freedom in slave states and won." The filing ends with this: "The reference to slave cases is to demonstrate the jurisdictional and legal issues arising from this stark difference in how human beings are categorized. In modern day, frozen human embryo disputes and the question of how they are categorized (human being or property) has become more frequent. Since there is little or no legislation in most states on this issue, state courts are left to decide if embryos are human beings or property or something in between and what to do in cases of dispute." Nick raised eyebrows earlier in the embryo back-and-forth when he relocated to Louisiana, a conservative state where embryos are considered human beings in the eye of the court, before launching another attempt to get custody of the embryos so he could use a surrogate to bring them to term.

Demi Lovato is still committed to advocating for the importance of self love. Last week, the singer shared photos of herself that included cellulite, stretch marks and other emblems of a regular woman's body. "No thigh gap for me and yet I still love myself," she captioned one of the shots. Speaking to E! News this week, Demi, who has battled an eating disorder as well as substance abuse issues, explained why she wanted to assure others it's OK not to be yourself and feel good about the skin you're in. "I was on Instagram and I started comparing myself to these Instagram models and I just thought to myself, someone needs to show my fans and anybody that's looking at my account that what you see isn't always what's real. And so, I decided to embrace my flaws and — I don't even like to call them flaws, it's just a part of who I am — and show the world that I'm imperfect, but that's what makes me beautiful," Demi said. "What I would say to somebody who's struggling right now, is try to find the gratitude," she added. "It's so important that you try to find gratitude in your life and focus on the positive things and when you're able to do that, or you're able to help others, you're able to get outside of yourself and you're able to look at your life from a different perspective. Sometimes it's really challenging and it's really difficult, but it's something that helps me every day, and so far it's worked."

Seth Meyers and Alexi Ashe welcome baby in apartment building lobby

Seth Meyers and Alexi Ashe are celebrating a new addition to their family after Alexi went into labor in the lobby of the couple's apartment building in New York City on Sunday, April 8. Seth shared the crazy experience with his audience on "The Late Show" the following evening, recounting how everything happened so fast they barely had time to process what was going on. "I called 911 and over the course of a minute conversation, I said, 'We're about to have a baby — we're having a baby — we had a baby," he said with a grin (via People). Seth also thanked the NYPD officers who got to the scene shortly after their son was born and helped cut the cord, as well as his neighbors, some of whom heated up towels in a dryer so Seth and Alexi could swaddle the baby in something warm until they were able to get medical attention. At one point when his emotions took over, the late night host quipped, "I'm getting choked up thinking about how brave I was." The couple's new son, Axel, is the first sibling for his 2-year-old big brother, Ashe.

David Schwimmer talks sexual misconduct PSA: 'There's a spectrum of bad behavior'

In a new Q&A with Esquire, David Schwimmer speaks candidly about his response to the #MeToo and #Time'sUp movements. As the magazine's editor-in-chief, Jay Fielden, reminds us, the "Friends" alum has worked to fight sexual misconduct since 2004, when he joined the Rape Foundation's board of directors. He took his concern in a different direction last spring when he produced a six-video PSA series called "That's Harassment," which The Harassment Project describes as being created to "empower victims and bystanders to speak out against sexual harassment and provide tools for employers to create a safe work environment." In the interest of opening up the conversation to include more men, David spoke to Esquire about what he thinks needs to happen next for us to start seeing an improvement in the workplace and beyond. "I don't think any real change will occur until there are more women in positions of power everywhere — not just in Hollywood but across all business sectors and, most important, in government," David explained. He went on to make a potentially controversial point, saying more men will get involved in the conversation if the "witch hunt" mentality begins to be a bit more metered. "What we need is to allow for context, and to recognize a spectrum of bad behavior. At the moment, because of the current climate, Al Franken is being lumped in with the Harvey Weinsteins of the world. This is a terrible — and horrifying — mistake. I am not excusing any individual's inappropriate or criminal behavior here, just pointing out that there is a difference between these two men and their actions and that difference is critical," he said. "We should not conflate all claims into one column of bad behavior. What concerns me is the frequent disregard of facts, context, evidence, and the rule of law. In this current climate, condemnation is swift and merciless. That's another reason men are staying silent." Finally, the actor reiterated that his gender needs to acknowledge the odds are against women rather than men in most cases of sexual misconduct. "Look, men commit the vast majority of rapes, sexual assaults, and sexual harassment — so men have a special responsibility to hold both themselves and other men accountable for how they treat women and girls," he said.

Cardi B opens up about revealing her pregnancy on 'SNL'

After two inpatient treatment stints for mental health issues since November, "Teen Mom OG" star Catelynn Lowell is nearly five months' sober. She filled fans in on her achievement last week after a Twitter user slammed her and Amber Portwood, calling them, "drug addict losers." In response, Catelynn calmly pointed out: "We're not drug addicts but whatever helps you sleep at night," before adding that she's "been sober for going on 5 months," in another tweet (via Us Weekly). Asked if she's noticed a difference since she started abstaining from marijuana, Catelynn responded, "I have! Thank you!!!" On this week's edition of "Teen Mom OG," Catelynn explained to her husband, Tyler Baltierra, that she was going back into treatment because of trauma she sustained when she was younger — not because of anything he'd done.
