Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk are bunking up together after one year of marriage
Finally! After nearly a year of marriage, Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk are taking a big step forward that most modern American couples take long before their first wedding anniversary. Yep, the 46-year-old actress and GOOP maven and her 46-year-old husband are ready for cohabitation. Gwyneth revealed the news in a new interview with InStyle. "Married life has been really good," she says in the feature. "We took a year to let everybody [in the family] take it in and let the dust settle. And now we're moving in together this month." Gwyneth and Brad each have two children from previous relationships. Speaking to WSJ last year, Gwyneth said she and Brad wanted to be cautious about such a big change because, "with teenage kids, you've got to tread lightly." It seems their romance is doing just fine in spite of the nontraditional sequence of family blending, too. "I adore my husband," Gwyneth told InStyle. "He's brilliant and deeply kind. I feel like he's a real equal too. And he pushes me in the best ways. I really like being married. It's fun."

If you were a fan of the original "Beverly Hills 90210," chances are you recall that the occasional scripted temper flare-ups between Jennifer Garth and Shannen Doherty's characters, Kelly and Brenda had some basis in reality off-screen. When Jennie stopped by "Watch What Happens Live" this week, Andy Cohen wasted no time asking her about it — and she admitted it got pretty bad. "I can only remember one incident … and we took it outside," she said (via E! News). Andy asked if it ever came to physical blows and Jennie admitted that it did — almost. "Yeah, I'm a Midwestern girl, and I spent some time in Glendale, Ariz. So, that makes you tough," she joked. "The guys that held us back," she recalled. "So, we never actually [did anything]." Tori Spelling was also on the show and recalled that she had to play "peacekeeper" when the two stepped outside after Shannen pulled Jennie's skirt up. After the blowup, Tori said Shannen, "stayed in my dressing room shaking when it happened." Looking back, Jennie chalked it up to a case of similar personalities and tempers, telling Andy. "I'm pretty sure I got in her face, but we're just both strong Aries women," Garth said. "We don't back down, no matter what." They ultimately remained friends for years after the original show came to an end.

It hasn't even been a week since the latest round of romance speculation around Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes hit the interwebs, which casts a certain, adorable light on comments she made about her rumored beau in Variety's latest cover story. "Falling in love is like an infinite amount of levels and layers and angles," the 22-year-old said when asked how love affects her work. "I fell in love and just opened up. Everything was written in present moment," she added. As for "Señorita," her duet with Shawn, Camila said, "I've known Shawn for such a long time, and it's so much fun getting to work and do things with somebody who means a lot to you." Last week, ET quoted a source as saying Camila and Shawn thought they were just "enjoying spending time together and having a summer fling," according to JustJared, but ended up having "really fallen for one another."

Jennifer Garner's poor kayaking track record continues
Let it never be said Jennifer Garner's the kind of gal who lets a little thing like a kayak rescue in international waters deter her. On Monday, Aug. 5, Jen shared a handful of shots from a kayaking trip she took in her home state of West Virginia. Though she was all smiles in the first photo she shared, she apparently had a rough day of boating. "It looks calm here, " she captioned the shot, "but oh yes, I got dumped in a rapid." She added the hashtags :#tumblebumble #icantresistakayak #someonestopme." If all of this sounds vaguely familiar, it's probably because things also ended up going south for the actress last year in Sweden when, during a trip with her then 12-year-old daughter, the two were nearly swept out to sea,Violet, "Did I get us lost in a kayak? Yes," she wrote on Instagram at the time. "Did we paddle as hard as we could for 100 hours and end up in a shipping lane? I'm afraid so. Did we have to be rescued? Yup." Did we develop a healthy fear of kayaks? Nah.
Kanye West may have to tear down futuristic housing domes
It seems Kanye West's neighbors may be less gung-ho than he is about the dome-like housing structures he built on his property in Calabasas, Calif. TMZ reports the structures were meant to be prototypes for pieces of a community Kanye believes could hoped do away with socioeconomic segregation. According to TMZ, a neighbor complained about a building code violation to the Los Angeles County Dept. of Public Works. The site manager reportedly told an inspector from the city that the domes were "temporary" and therefore did not require permits. That was on July 18. Last week, a second neighbor complained, though, this time about the noise from the construction. The inspector who checked out that complaint found reason to believe the structures were not temporarry. Kanye was reportedly told to either submit proof they;re applying for permits within in 45 days or tear the structures down. A source tells TMZ Kanye intends to "comply with the requirements."
Iggy Azalea gets candid about taking time off for mental health reasons
"Iggy Azalea is ready for her comeback." That's according to the latest edition of Cosmopolitan, whose cover story on the controversial rapper's "second coming" –and new album, "In My Defense" — sheds new light on why the 29-year-old took some time away from music and the spotlight before releasing her second full-length studio album, something she and the magazine seem to agree reflects a kind of personal and artistic growth. Iggy credits some of that growth to work she did during what she refers to as "a mental health retreat" two years ago, which she spent talking to a therapist about everything from her childhood to her control issues to facing criticism. She admits her management urged her to take the mental health down time, telling Cosmo: "They just didn't want me to f— up my own life, basically … I just couldn't get out of functioning at this insanity level. Where you're like, Whoa, hold on, don't operate the vehicle. The whole thing was very overwhelming." Now that she's back, Iggy's recording as an indie artist, having left the major label world behind. And she sounds determined to make her self-described "second chance" take. "You get as many shots as you are able to persevere for in life, no matter what you do," she muses. "You get as many chances as you're willing to sit there and f—— really fight for it tooth and nail. And I'm not going to stop fighting for a second chance until somebody f—— gives me one, and then I'm not going to f— it up."
Harvey Weinstein sex trafficking case may proceed: Judge
Another green light is being granted to aspiring British actress and model Kadian Noble in her lawsuit against Harvey Weinstein. Noble claims Weinstein sexually assaulted her at Cannes in a hotel room in 2014 after luring her there on the premise he wanted to watch her reel and discuss business opportunities. Like others who have sued Weinstein since 2017, Noble says he then groped and assaulted her. He has denied there was any nonconsensual sexual activity between the two. Noble first sued the former producer in 2017, but the case was later ensnared in multiple hiccups regarding a sex trafficking aspect of the case, which was allowed to proceed last summer after Weinstein's legal team attempted to have it dismissed. According to Page Six, after one judge dismissed part of the lawsuit, Weinstein's lawyers requested a freeze on the related civil case so they could appeal to a higher court and possibly get the rest of the suit thrown out. This week, however, a Manhattan federal court judge ruled, "Weinstein has failed to show that this case falls into the category of truly exceptional cases for which interlocutory appeal was designed," and said the sex trafficking case may proceed.
Plane carrying Pink's manager, crew catches on fire during crash landing in Denmark
Pink's manager and members of crew had close call on Monday, Aug. 5, at Denmark's Aarhus Airport. As their flight aboard a private jet from Oslo, Norway, landed, it burst into flames, according to CBS News. Pink was not on the plane at the time and as of Tuesday, all 10 people who were on board were said to have been uninjured in the crash. CBS reports Pink's Beautiful Trauma tour is slated to continue this week in spite of the crash, with dates in Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and Brazil.
Maya Hawke on how her 'Stranger Things' character ended up coming out
When Maya Hawke got most of the way through Season 3 of "Stranger Things" — and we should warn you about a minor, semi-spoiler ahead — she began to feel like her character, Robin, wasn't going in a direction that fit who Maya thought Robin really was. Originally, the script called for Robin and Steve to end up together after he admits he has romantic feelings for her. As Maya explained recently to WSJ (via Vulture), she and Joe Keery, who plays Steve, thought that did a disservice to Robin, who they believed was gay. "Throughout filming, we started to feel like she and Steve shouldn't get together, and that she's gay," Maya recalled. "Even when I go back and watch earlier episodes, it just seems like the most obvious decision ever." Halfway through shooting the season, Maya said she and Joe talked to the writers and showrunners, who came to agree with them. "The Duffer brothers and I, and Shawn Levy, had a lot of conversations throughout shooting and it wasn't really until we were shooting episode four and five, I think, that we made the final decision," she said. "It was a collaborative conversation, and I'm really, really happy with the way that it went," adding that she hopes the change can help others "fall in love with girls who love girls and boys who love boys."
Nancy Grace compares and contrasts her old show with 'Injustice'
From 2005 until 2016, former prosecutor Nancy Grace and her eponymous show were HLN network staples, giving Nancy a reputation for what the New York Times has described as a "polarizing" force known for her "aggressive" coverage of tabloid crime stories and legal matters. She returned to TV on a regular basis last month with the Oxygen network's "Injustice." So, what's different this time around? "What I'm doing now is basically carrying through a thought-provoking premise. I'm dredging out untold truths, checking botched investigations, correcting wrongful accusations," she recently told Page Six. "My old show, which was on for years, was by the seat of my pants. Whatever story broke, whichever headline, any crime hitting the news, I jumped onto. Now I'm out on the street 5:30 every morning searching for stories," she explained. She went to reveal she'd been pitched new shows multiple times while she was off the air, but feels she has enough interest from sponsors with "Injustice" that she could see it running for quite a while. "On [the show], I'm correcting what's not gone right. Like a case that just aired about a little girl, 15, who'd been in a foster home and then was murdered," Nancy said. "Checking out all the leads I discovered some truths went down a rabbit hole. As I uncovered these situations, it became my job to correct them."
