Jennifer Garner was in full good samaritan mode on Sunday, Feb. 11. In the morning, she and the kids she shares with her ex, Ben Affleck participated in the Home Run For Kids 5K in the Brentwood section of Los Angeles. The event was a fundraiser for Upward Bound House, a charity that aims "to reduce the number of homeless families with minor children who are hungry and living on the streets of Los Angeles, by helping them access basic resources and successfully transition into their own homes with the capacity to remain there permanently," according to the organization's website. After the race, Jen kept the good deed-doing spirit going by packing up some Girl Scout cookies and heading to a grocery store, where she stood outside with a homemade sign announcing she had boxes of the sweet treats for sale. "Why yes, kind sir, we do have Thin Mints," she wrote in an Instagram post showing her popup cookie sale, hashtagging the pic, "#tistheseason, #comeandgetem, and #whodoesntloveagirlscout." As she explained in an Instagram story (via the Daily Mail), the actress helped sell cookies via direct message to folks who might not have a way to reach out to a Girl Scout to pick up cookies. "Good afternoon, I am so distressed to find out that some people don't have access to a Girl Scout or Girl Scout cookies," she said in the post. And while my Girl Scout and Brownie have to sell their own cookies, I did buy a limited number of boxes from them to share with you guys. … So if you truly have no Girl Scout in your life. Please send me your order and your address and I will try to hook you up,' she continued. 'Because what would this time of year be like without Thin Mints and Samoas and now there are gluten free Savannah Smiles and the newest ones are Girl Scout S'mores."

As Victoria Beckham debuted her latest collection on the runway in New York on Sunday, Feb. 11, her 18-year-old son debuted some new work on Instagram — a tattoo by Dr. Woo he recently got on his arm in her honor. "Cheers to this man x another amazing one 🌷. @_dr_woo_," Brooklyn captioned a shot of the heart-shaped ink with the word "mum" written across it. The tat isn't his only Victoria-focused piece of body art: according to People, Brooklyn also has the words "mama's boy" inked over his heart.

Now that she's almost 30 weeks into her pregnancy, Khloe Kardashian is still exercising regularly and eating healthily, even if she's allowed herself space to indulge in the occasional food craving. She admitted that she used to overeat, citing her "huge foodie" tendencies and went on to say she was able to overcome the habit by changing her mental approach to food. "It is reprogramming your mind. But once you get there and once you reprogram it, you start feeling good and your skin is great and your hair is growing," she said, according to the Daily Mail. "During my pregnancy, I'm obviously not beating myself up about what I'm eating at all," she wrote in a blog post earlier this year. "I'm more encouraged by how, after the baby comes, I'm going to work off every pound. I'm actually really excited to get my body back. I can't wait!" Khloe, who's expecting her first child with Tristan Thompson, is reportedly due in April.

Elton John and David Furnish accused of mishandling dog bite incident

A schoolmate of Elton John and David Furnish's children Zachary and Elijah learned the hard way that there's some truth to the old "let sleeping dogs lie" adage. According to The Sun, Mari Kieran is still angry about an incident at Elton and David's mansion two years ago in which her daughter, Charlotte, was bitten by one of the couple's cocker spaniels while visiting their house for a playdate. Charlotte reportedly went to pet the dog while it was napping in the kitchen when it either bit her nose leaving scratches on her face — or gave the girl a "minor nip," depending on the parents' differing versions of the story. "Their dog full on bit my child in the face. I don't care who they are. It was revolting," Charlotte's mom, who says the singer and his husband failed to apologize, told The Sun, which published a photo of the girl with what appear to be bite marks on her nose. "This is Elton John and David Furnish's animal attacking a child and at the very least I would have expected a phone call," she said. "She had blood and marks on her face. You could see how traumatized she was and the terror in her face. It was awful." She also claims her daughter was left "shaking and her eyes were glazed." "How would you feel if a dog bit your face? She was only 5," Mari said. Elton and David, meanwhile, have said through their rep that they had been told it was "a minor nip" and that they attempted to check on the little girl after it happened. Mari also claimed Elton and David knew what had happened and did nothing. "You can make assumptions but I don't know why they didn't apologize or ask how Charlotte was. It's about responsibility as well, and being a responsible adult. I don't care about status or celebrity," she said. Elton's rep responded by saying the whole thing is suddenly being described in much different terms than it was when the singer first learned of what happened. "When this incident was reported back to Elton and David two years ago it was detailed as a minor nip on the nose by their spaniel who was startled by Charlotte," said Elton's rep. "Three attempts were made to check on Charlotte's well-being following the incident, to the mother and her nanny, and each time they confirmed that Charlotte was perfectly fine. I can also confirm that Elton and David have never ever had any complaints about their dogs' behavior." Mari told the tab she was not planning to sue.

Police are investigating a potential burglary attempt at Joe Jonas' home

Last week, Joe Jonas almost became the latest celeb in California's San Fernando Valley to be burglarized. TMZ reports a man was spotted toying with the security cameras outside the singer's home around 9 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 8. He ultimately set off the alarm, which sent a message to Joe's security team, the website reports. The trespasser was apparently scared away by the alarm before stealing or damaging any property. Joe's team has since filed a trespass report and police are still investigating the incident.

If things seem to be a bit haywire when it comes to America's take on climate change these days, maybe it's just "temporary insanity." That's how Robert De Niro explained recent developments in the Donald Trump administration while speaking at Dubai's World Government Summit on Sunday, Feb. 11. In a speech that reportedly garnered laughs and applause, the actor said he'd come from "a backward" country, pointing to recent comments made by the Environmental Protection Agency's head Scott Pruitt in which he claimed that "… humans have most flourished during times of warming trends" and that "there are assumptions made that because the climate is warming that necessarily is a bad thing." In his rehash of the controversial comments at the summit in Dubai, the actor said, according to the Associated Press, "I am talking about my own country, the United States of America. We don't like to say we are a 'backward' country so let's just say we're suffering from a case of temporary insanity." He added that the U.S. "will eventually cure itself by voting our dangerous leader."

Charlize Theron named honorary starter for the Daytona 500

When NASCAR kicks off its season on Sunday, Feb. 18, with the Monster Energy Cup Series, Charlize Theron will be the one waving the green flag to let drivers know it's go-time. The Associated Press reported this week that the actress has been named the 60th Daytona 500's honorary starter, a role more often filled by sports stars like baseball hero Ken Griffey Jr. in recent years. Kensington Palace announces new details about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding

While plans for Meghan Markle's wedding dress remain to be confirmed, the royal bride-to-be and her fiance, Prince Harry, shared a few new details about their May 19 wedding over the weekend. In a statement from Kensington palace excerpted by E! News, the royals announced that the ceremony, set to be held at St. George's Chapel, would begin at noon. "The Dean of Windsor, The Rt Revd. David Conner, will conduct the Service," the statement said, and "The Most Revd. and Rt Hon. Justin Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury, will officiate as the couple make their marriage vows." At 1 p.m., the newlyweds will headline a carriage procession "leaving Windsor Castle via Castle Hill and processing along the High Street and through Windsor Town, returning to Windsor Castle along the Long Walk." The palace noted that the couple hoped the procession would "provide an opportunity for more people to come together around Windsor and to enjoy the atmosphere of this special day." After the procession, guests from the congregation will be invited to attend a reception. A second reception for "close friends and family," hosted by Prince Harry's father, Prince Charles, will follow the more public one.
