Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney spotted apartment hunting in NYC
Jennifer Lawrence and her fiance, Cooke Maroney are in full planning mode for their new life together. The Daily Mail spotted the couple apartment hunting in New York City on Thursday, April 18, accompanied by luxury real estate broker John Gomes. According to People, the pair has also started looking for a potential venue for their wedding, which a source says will likely be a "family affair," as well as their engagement party. Previous reports they might tie the knot in Louisville, where Jen grew up, have since been dismissed by the star's rep. Jennifer and Cooke confirmed their engagement in February.

News, which did the math on Goop.com's Mother's Day gift guide and discovered that's what it would cost to buy every piece on the website's list, which includes a $3,750 pink Chanel bag, a crazy expensive meal at Blue Hill at Stone Barns near Bedford, New York (in 2015, a blogger for AMNY titled her review, "That Time I Accidentally Had the Most Expensive Meal of My Life;" prices have gone up since then) and an $88 "memo envelope," among other things. Says Goop: "There's usually something out there that would make the mothers of the world very happy." Should you take Gwyneth's advice, we recommend tossing in a little something for yourself, while you're at it — ,maybe the "Martini" Emotional Detox Bath Soak. It's only $35 and you're gonna need to detox your emotions once you're done taking out that personal loan.

Wendy Williams declares herself 'a single woman'
Wendy Williams is embracing her newfound status as a single lady. After filing for divorce from Kevin Hunter, who's reportedly on his way out as executive producer of "The Wendy Williams Show," she had some fun on Friday, April 19, chatting with viewers about Jason Momoa's decision to lose the beard and go clean-shaven for the first time in years. "Just observing him as a single woman," she said (via Us Weekly), "I have to tell you that the newly shaved Jason Momoa just looks like another hot guy in the streets. I mean, very hot. But, just another one." She added that his beard made him stand out — for better or worse, though it sounds like she's leaning towards "better." Flashing photos of Jason before and after he shaved the beard, Wendy noted that "all the hair … separates him," from the apparently good-loking masses. "He looks terrible … ," she said. "… Like you want him to do terrible things to you." Ahem. Enjoy your singledom, Wendy!

Mystery solved! Ariana Grande was rumored to have made double what Beyonce made to headline Coachella. But a new report from The Blast claims the singers were both paid $8 million, or $4 million for each weekend of the festival. The stars' contracts wwre reportedly "structured the same way," presumably with allowances for Ariana's guests, which included 'NSYNC, Nicki Minaj and Diddy, and Bey's massive dance crew and brass band. Both women also set records for the event, which has only had four female headliners in its entire history (the others being Lady Gaga and Bjork). According to Kim Kardashian's Instagram Story posts, the birthday girl wore a daring black cut out and mesh dress — "vintage Versace," Kim said — and arrived holding her daughter, Penelope's hand as a saxophone player serenaded her with "Isn't She Lovely." Other guests included all the sisters in the fam, Kris Jenner and, unexpectedly, Kourtney's ex, Younes Bendjima. A source told People that while Kourtney initially "didn't seem too excited," about the birthday milestone, she's since come around. "Turning 40 is a big deal.," the source said. "But instead of seeing it as something negative, Kourtney turned it around and she seems very excited about her life just in general."

Roman Polanski sues the Academy for re-entry access
Roman Polanski is hoping the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will let him back in a year after he was expelled as a result of new standards put in place following the Harvey Weinstein scandal. A lawsuit filing against the organization excerpted by the Hollywood Reporter shows the director's lawyer cited Polanski's six Oscar nominations and the 28 nominations his films have garnered as reasons he should be let back in. Polanski has lived in Europe since fleeing the country after being convicted of sexually assaulting a teenage girl in the '70s. "The Academy committed a prejudicial abuse of discretion in that the Academy failed to proceed in a manner required by law, the Academy's expulsion decision is not supported by the findings, and the Academy's findings are not supported by the evidence," his lawyer wrote. He added that the director's rights were violated when the Academy refused to let him address the situation in a petition he was allowed to file.
