Jeremy Renner and Sonni Pacheco's custody battle gets uglier
The custody battle between Jeremy Renner and his ex, Sonni Pacheco, is unlikely to be resolved anytime soon. TMZ reports the actor has filed new documents asking for sole legal and physical custody of the former couple's daughter, Ava, who was born in 2013. The two have been raising Ava via joint custody, but in the wake of arguments over child support payments, among other things, they've apparently changed their minds about sharing her. Sonni initially requested sole custody of their daughter, accusing Jeremy of having a gun collection at home that is not kept safe from the little girl. In addition to making his own pitch for sole custody, Jeremy's new documents ask the court to give Sonni "only monitored visitation rights," according to the website. Sonni filed for divorce from the star in 2014 after 10 months of marriage.

Now that Mike "The Situation" is a free man, he and his wife Lauren are ready to focus on their shared goal of expanding their family. "We look forward to continuing our life as husband and wife and working on baby situations!" Lauren told People in a statement after Mike's Thursday, Sept. 12, release from prison. The "Jersey Shore" veteran served eight months behind bars after being found guilty of multiple tax offense-related charges. "We are elated to finally close this chapter of our life," they said in another section of the statement. "Thank you to our family, friends and fans for the continuous love and support during this time, it brought us so much peace and comfort. We truly believe that the comeback is ALWAYS greater than the setback and we can't wait to show the world ours." As for the couple's baby plans, Lauren told People last spring that they were "hoping to probably get that going within the next year or so," adding that because they're each "one of four kids," the "definitely" want "more than one" child themselves.

Justin Timberlake and Tiger Woods team up to raise aid money for the Bahamas
Tiger Woods and Justin Timberlake are teaming up to raise money to aid those affected by Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas, where the death toll continues to rise two weeks after the storm. In a series of Twitter announcements posted on Wednesday, Sept. 12, the golf champion wrote: "As a strong believer in philanthropy and teamwork, I'm excited to partner with my friends @jtimberlake, #NEXUSLuxuryCollection, @rbc and @albanybahamas to establish the ONE Bahamas Fund in support of Hurricane Dorian relief, recovery and rebuilding efforts." Tiger, JT and their partners have reportedly funded the project with a seed of $6 million and are promising to match future donations. "Help us turn this first $6 million into $12 million, and join our efforts to restore and rebuild The Bahamas," Tiger tweeted. Justin promoted the new One Bahamas Fund on social media on Wednesday, too, writing on Instagram that the fund aims to "help raise money and support for the restoration and rebuilding of this island and its community." He continued: "The damage and devastation the residents are facing after #HurricaneDorian is unfathomable so we're matching dollar for dollar the the next $6 million raised," before including a mention of his personal connection to the storm-ravaged islands. "The Bahamas is a really special place to me. I've spent a lot of time there over the years, both with my family and in the studio so I want to do all I can to help and I hope you will too," he wrote. "I want that little boy at home that might like to be called a girl to say, 'Mommy, I want to wear Dynasty. It's a Glam Attack,'" she explains. "And then Mommy goes, 'Oh, my son wants to be called a girl, and he wants the Glam Attack.' And then she goes and she gets it for him. And he uses it. And then there's a bond." Demi Moore's new memoir, "Inside Out," details her transition from a troubled childhood to a successful career, albeit one she built while struggling with alcohol and drug abuse as well as eating disorders. She also gets candid about her aspects of her relationship with Ashton Kutcher that she's rarely, if ever, discussed before. That includes their 15-year age gap, which she writes felt like "a do-over, like I could just go back in time and experience what it was like to be young, with him â much more so than I'd ever been able to experience it when I was actually in my twenties," according to the New York Times. Demi also reveals she and Ashton were expecting a daughter together. After six months of pregnancy, however, Demi miscarried the baby, whom they planned to name Chaplin Ray. She writes that she blamed herself for the miscarriage, after which she started drinking more heavily and abusing Vicodin. Those issues were already a problem, she recalls, when she discovered Ashton had cheated on her. The pair separated in 2011 and in 2012, Demi suffered a seizure "while partying with [her daughter] Rumer [Willis]," according to the Times. After that incident, she wanted to start work on what would become "Inside Out," but as she tells the Times, her "health began to deteriorate," so she finally sought help in rehab and eventually wrote her book. "Inside Out" hits shelves Sept. 24.

Lake Bell gets candid about her severe depression after the birth of her son
Lake Bell has long adhered to what she describes as an "organic ⊠kumbaya way of living," eschewing even Advil unless it's "absolutely necessary." But as she revealed in the Wednesday, Sept. 11, edition of The Conversation with Amanda De Cadenet podcast, she got so depressed after her son almost died during his home birth that she turned to Zoloft â and it helped. "It took me to a place where I could be. I could just be," she said, describing the effect of the low-dose prescription (via Parade). "It was rational. I needed to just be Lake and I felt, finally like, I could breathe the air that Lake breathes, not like some other person that I don't recognize." Lake, 40, has previously shared the story of how Ozzi, the son she shares with husband Scott Campbell, was born with the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck, leaving him without oxygen and sending him to the NICU for 11 days. She blamed herself, she told Amanda, and felt she should never have given birth to him at home. "We didn't know whether he would be alive or walk or talk," she recalled. "I was like, 'I need something, I can't be a person. I don't know how to be ⊠I had a little daughter too so I was like, 'I gotta be a person and I don't know how to find that.'" It was ultimately her little girl Nova, who made her realize she had to do something, even if it meant taking medication, which she said she thought of as a "last resort." Nova had come to think of her mom's depression as an actual "monster." "I remember my daughter saying at one point, 'Go away, monster, you go away!' And I was like, 'What? Are you OK? Is there a monster here?'" she recalled. "And she said, 'He's still here. Go away monster. You can't play here!'" she recalled. "She feels like I'm not 'normal mommy.' She feels like there's a fââ demon in the goddamn room and she wants it to get the fâ away. It was a feeling of a little person being very intuitive to there being a cloud of darkness here and she was trying to get it away." Lake added that she continued taking Zoloft for 18 months. Today, she's done with judging herself and others. "I think, parents," she said, "we really are in it together."
Terrence Howard says he's 'done with acting'
"Empire" returns for its sixth and final season on Sept. 24 â and it may be your last chance to see Terrence Howard onscreen. "I'm done with acting," he told "Extra" this week when asked what was next for his career. "I'm done pretending," he added. When the "Extra" reporter tried to clarify whether that meant the "Empire" star would be "focusing on philanthropy and other interests," Terrence replied, "No, not philanthropy, I'm just focusing on bringing the truth to the world." The Oscar-nominated actor didn't elaborate beyond that.
