Jessica Simpson pokes fun at her own post-baby body
Jessica Simpson's done with her difficult third pregnancy, but she's clearly still got some gas in the tank when it comes to making light of a tough situation. On Thursday, May 9, the mother of three shared a photo of herself bending over to touch her toes. "Just stretching it out in my rubber corset," she cracked. "The joy of postpartum." The hilarious post comes after the star joked about having gotten so big during pregnancy she broke a toilet seat, shared a photo of her attempt to "push on through" two parked cars with her massive belly and showed off her super swollen feet. Fans immediately responded with gratitude for her openness. "You go girl! Thank you for always being real," wrote one user (via E! News). "Truly love your honesty!" wrote another. Jessica and her husband, Eric Johnson, welcomed their daughter, Birdie, in March. They're also parents to daughter, Max, and son, Ace.

Kim Kardashian visits newly freed inmate, covers his face tattoo removal costs
We imagine there were a whole lot of famous folks catching up on rest after the Met Gala this week, but Kim Kardashian West wasn't one of them. Instead, Kim and Kanye West headed to North Carolina the next day to meet with Paul Algarin and his twin sister, Azaria. According to TMZ, Paul was released from prison on April 19 after serving seven years behind bars. During his time there, he wrote to Kim, having heard about her criminal justice reform mission, which has helped free 17 people over the past three months. Paul's sister said she never expected Kim to even read her brother's letter, let alone to come meet the family. "Never in a million years did I think Kim would write him back (or even read his letter), fly in right after the met gala (not to mention her 4th baby is due at any minute), invest in our family & laugh / relate to us over the smallest things," Azaria said. Kim also reportedly brought a doctor because she and Kanye have offered to pay for Paul to have his face tattoos removed as part of starting his new life. The group even went to paul's first tattoo removal session together. "I'm so proud of my brother for taking steps in the right direction," Azaria said. She added that Kim's visit was "a special day that I will forever cherish."

Hailey Bieber's sister gives an update on Hailey and Justin Bieber's second wedding
There's still been no decision made regarding when Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber might have the second, more traditional wedding they've been planning since they got legally married at a New York City courthouse last September. That's according to Hailey's sister, Alaia Baldwin, who recently told Us Weekly things are still up in the air. "We will see. Who knows what their plans are," she told the tab. "They're very up and down, so I just I'll be there at some point in a dress, in sweats — we don't know!" The couple reportedly put their plans on hold after sending out two rounds of save-the-date cards to friends and family, with the idea they wanted to give Justin time to recover from anxiety and depression issues he was struggling with. In March, an insider told Us the pair would not have any kind of wedding "in the immediate future" — at least until after Justin was able to "work on his issues and rebuild." Asked what she thinks of her new brother-in-law, Alaia said, "I appreciate that he is always his genuine self, and that's what I'd say I like the most about him."
Selena Gomez is back in the studio the same week Justin Bieber is releasing new music
Great minds think alike — and so do former loves, apparently. The Blast noticed that not only have both Justin Bieber and his ex, Selena Gomez, been struggling with anxiety and depression in the past year. They're also both coming out of their dark periods with new music. Justin is slated to release a new song, "I Don't Care," with Ed Sheeran on Friday, May 10, after a long relatively fallow period during which he was mainly working on his emotional and mental health. Selena Gomez, who enrolled in a treatment center program for anxiety and depression last year and has been returning to work slowly in 2019, is focused on new music this week as well. On Wednesday, she shared a photo of herself wearing shades and a dark outfit, captioning it, "studio diva." The pair dated on and off for years until calling it quits in 2018.
David Beckham banned from driving for six months
David Beckham won't be behind the wheel of a car anytime soon. The former soccer star was banned for diving for six months and fined about the equivalent of $975 after someone called the authorities on him for using his cell phone while driving a $130,000 Bentley in London, where it's illegal to use a phone while driving. Page Six reports Becks flew in for a hearing on the matter on Thursday, May 9. Given the six points he already had on his license when he was caught phoning and driving, the latest offense kicked him up to 12 points. The previous citation was also for using his phone while driving.

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are 'enjoying calling each other 'husband' and 'wife"
Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are definitely in the honeymoon phase of their new marriage, whether they're on an actual honeymoon or not. The couple tied the knot in Las Vegas after the Billboard Awards last weekend, using an Elvis impersonator as their officiant and exchanging Ring Pops instead of the usual wedding bands. Now, an insider tells Us Weekly, "They're enjoying the newness of being married and being able to call each other 'husband' and 'wife,'" adding, "They're just super happy." Sophie, 23, and Joe, 29, started dating in 2016.
Cardi B's second Fashion Nova collection is nearly sold out in less than 24 hours
Cardi B's not just making waves in the music biz. For the second time in a row, the rapper's new clothing line for Fashion Nova nearly sold out less than 24 hours after it launched, according to Page Six. The super affordable line features 86 pieces under $100 each including leather bustiers, sheer bodysuits, sexy thigh-slit suits and tops and more. Most of the items come with cheeky names like the super tight "I Do What They Say I Can't" latex shorts ($39.50). The first collection was described by the site as "corporate and poppin,'" while the second is all about "classic boudoir themes" and "hyper shine wet looks," featuring corsets, latex and vegan leather. "This time around, the clothes are going to be a little more sexy. You're going to see a lot of skin. A lot of cleavage," Cardi recently told Elle. "But yet it's so pretty and so elegant. I made sure it was sexy but also beautiful."
Drew Barrymore spotted being 'affectionate' with ex, Will Kopelman
Drew Barrymore caught up with her ex, Will Kopelman, over the weekend in New York City — but that doesn't necessarily mean the're back on as a couple. After a spy told Page Six the two had been spotted being "very friendly and very affectionate" with one another while with their kids at Frieze New York, an art fair that ran through Sunday, May 5, a friend of the former husband and wife assured the tab said they were simply being a good mom and dad. "They aren't getting back together," said the source close to Drew and Will. "It's two people co-parenting. They are friendly." In December, Drew opened up on Instagram about the experience of divorce and the expectations around it, saying their daughters were worth any pain their split forced them to go through. "Will and I continue to marvel at what we made and try to be the best co parents we can be," Drew posted at the time. "It's not always easy and the point is…nothing in life is. But it doesn't mean that any bitter outweighs the sweet!"
Ellen DeGeneres isn't ready to leave her show just yet
Shortly before Ellen DeGeneres' stand-up special, "Relatable," came out in December, the comic told the New York Times she was thinking of leaving daytime television for good to focus on comedy. So where is she on the decision now? "I'll know when it's the end," she told The Hollywood Reporter this week at an FYC panel. As far as when she thinks that end will be in sight, she said that for now it occurs to her when she's "tired" or "the show is a little rough" for her, explaining: "I'll know when I feel it. And I don't feel that right now, so we'll see how long I go. But you know, I didn't think I'd go 16 years. This is crazy. I mean, most shows don't." She also reiterated ideas about how weird it is to have the world think they know her personally because of the talk show, though she admits "everybody warned me" that would be the case. "So people have preconceived ideas and impressions of who I am. And you know, I can't really live up to all that. I just try to be exactly who I am and show who I am honestly, every day, but I had no idea it was going to be that that impactful," she said. Ellen's also been developing film and TV projects for her production company and says she doesn't see herself going back to stand-up full-time. "I think once I'm done with the talk show, I'm not somebody that needs to be onstage and in front of the camera all the time. I'm happy to step back when I'm done. I'll be happy to just be doing my brand and doing production," she said. "So once I'm done with the talk show, I think then you'll see me do stand-up once once in a while and that's it."
Katherine Heigl and her mom open their closets for animal welfare
Katherine Heigl and her mom, Nancy Heigl, have some clothes on the market right now, too — but theirs are coming right out of their closets. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actress and her mom recently teamed up with the company Poshmark to sell 150 of their own clothing and accessory items in order to raise money for the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation, which the mother-daughter pair founded in 2008 in honor of Katherine's late brother, who died after a car accident in 1986 when he was 16. The foundation works to rescue dogs from kill shelters in California, funds spay/neuter programs and helps find healthy homes for abused and neglected animals. The Heigls' Posh Closet for Charity project launched Wednesday, May 9 with Balenciaga and Gucci heels, Diane von Furstenberg and St. John knits, Stella McCartney and Carolina Herrera dresses and more. "We are big believers in the power of family and giving back, and are excited to celebrate both through this special partnership with Poshmark," Katherine said in a statement. "We were drawn to the community and connections that thrive on Poshmark, and my mom and I couldn't think of a better way to share our style [and] celebrate Mother's Day." The sale returns in mid-May.
