Kate Beckinsale trolls David Spade after Pete Davidson age gap comment
Dream on, David Spade. That's the message Kate Beckinsale sent the "Joe Dirt" star on Instagram on Wednesday, March 20, after he attempted to troll her for her romance with Pete Davidson. His comment surfaced on an Instagram post that showed Kate, 45, holding a cheetah cub in her lap. "You like them young!" wrote David, adding, "(Now don't fight back and roast me just quietly stew and take the hit.)" As Comments by Celebs promptly pointed out, Kate replied to his response with, "@Davidspade never gonna happen grandpa." Since Kate started seeing Pete, who at 25 is two decades younger than her, she's taken a number of nasty comments about their age difference in typical stride, telling one commenter who said he or she was "disappointed" in her "dating choices," "Fairly let down by your wonky beard but thought possibly rude to say," according to Us Weekly. As it turns out, Kate won't have to do much digging for dirt on the erstwhile Joe Dirt should she be up for more trolling. A quick peek at the 54-year-old comic and actor's romance retrospective points to multiple romantic tangles with much younger women, including Ivy Levan (32), Naya Rivera (32), Jillian Grace (33) and Jasmine Waltz (36). Who likes 'em young now, Dave?
Nikki Bella gets candid about John Cena moving on with another woman
For Nikki Bella, Napa, California still means John Cena and the wedding they ultimately opted to cancel. A preview clip for the season finale of "Total Bellas" shows Nikki looking distraught as she returns to the location where she and John thought they'd kick off the rest of their lives together. "This is the first time I've been back in Napa since my big breakup and I just immediately get all the memories," Nikki says in the clip, published by E! News. "But a part of me is like, 'OK, Nicole. Now you have to make new memories.'" When Nikki's sister asks how Nikki will handle John moving on with someone new, Nikki admits it's going to be torture. "No matter what, the next time I see him with someone it's gonna kill me," she says. "I still have a long way to go, but, honestly, I'm ready for a new me. I need it … I just want to move forward." The "Total Bellas" couple called it quits in April of last year after six years together. A brief reconciliation that summer ended in a permanent split for the two. Nikki has since told Us Weekly she's been dating, though she doesn't seem to have gotten into anything serious since John.

Jameela Jamil slams Khloe Kardashian for promoting weight loss shake
The Kardashian-Jenner sisters are no strangers to backlash over their promotion of diet products, but that didn't stop Khloe Kardashian from shouting out a meal replacement shake this week. It didn't stop Jameela Jamil from giving Khloe a piece of her mind on the post, either. Sharing a photo of her IRL flat tummy as a promo for Flat Tummy Co.'s product on Wednesday, March 20, Khloe wrote: "Loving how my tummy looks right now you guys! I brought @flattummyco's meal replacement shakes into my routine about 2 weeks ago, and the progress is undeniable." Comments by Celebs (via People) soon noticed Jameela's reply in the comments. "If you're too irresponsible to: a) own up to the fact that you have a personal trainer, nutritionist, probable chef, and a surgeon to achieve your aesthetic, rather than this laxative product… And b) tell them the side effects of this NON-FDA approved product, that most doctors are saying aren't healthy. Side effects such as: Possible Flat Tummy Tea side effects are cramping, stomach pains, diarrhea and dehydration… Then I guess I have to," the actress wrote. "It's incredibly awful that this industry bullied you until you became this fixated on your appearance," she added. "That's the media's fault. But now please don't put that back into the world, and hurt other girls, the way you have been hurt. You're a smart woman. Be smarter than this." As of Thursday, People had not heard back from Flat Tummy Co. for a response.

Bethenny Frankel shares the results of her allergy test, calls the science behind it 'fascinating'
In case the whole loss of vision, speaking ability and eventually, consciousness bit didn't tip Bethenny Frankel off to her severe fish allergy last winter, an allergist helpfully prick tested the "Real Housewives of New York City" star this week so she could see … um … just how bad her allergy is? We guess? Bethenny shared a photo on her Instagram Story this week that showed the results of an allergy test she took recently. It's basically two pictures of her arms covered in welts so we'll spare you the evidence. But suffice it to say she was quite pleased to see the fish allergy that nearly killed her in 2018 is still going strong. "Look, the fish is raging. The wheat is raging, too, but this is so itchy. But isn't that fascinating?" she says in the post I(via People). "They're giving you the allergen to see how you react and the really puffy ones are the worst ones. It's fascinating science." It's also probably fascinating to the airlines Bethenny's publicly shamed for keeping fish on their menus in spite of her near-death allergic reaction that she would subject herself to a prick test to find out if she's allergic to fish. But you do you, girl.
Will Smith says 'being this out of shape is new to me' as he prepares to run his first half marathon
As Jada Pinkett Smith continues to explore different aspects of her personal life on "Red Table Talk," her husband, Will Smith has been working his way through a series of challenges on his own Facebook Watch show, "Bucket List." In the most recent episode, the 50-year-old runs his first half-marathon — with just three weeks' notice. "I think of all the bucket lists this is the one I'm most concerned about," he admits in the show (via the Daily Mail). "Like, in my deepest honesty with myself, I really am not sure if I can run 13 miles." He explains that his road to success involved a lot of focus on his health and physical looks. "I didn't drink for over a decade," he says. As he gets a stress test and a doctor checkup to make sure he's in good enough shape for the race in Cuba, he realizes his body's no longer in peak physical condition. "Being this far out of shape is kind of a little bit new for me," he says. "You know, during my rise as a movie star, I was, like, wildly disciplined, so being in this place in my life, even something as simple as taking my shirt off while I'm out of shape, like, you know this for me now allowing myself to be seen less than optimally is new." On the other hand, he admits there are pluses to the perspective he has today. "… As I've gotten older I don't feel the pressure of living up to the billboard image of myself like I used to, and living with these imperfections and accepting my weaknesses has brought me so much freedom," he explains. "I'm the happiest I've ever been in my life." By the end of the episode, he does manage to finish the half-marathon.
Harvey Weinstein spotted meeting with P.I. at Grand Central
With his sexual assault trial coming up in June, Harvey Weinstein is getting his team in order in the hopes of beating two sexual assault charges. And judging from a meeting the New York Post claims took place this week, he seems to be leveraging the help of not just lawyers but a private investigator as well. A spy tells the tab Weinstein was spotted at Cipriani Dolci in New York City's busy Grand Central Terminal on Wednesday, March 20. He was reportedly wearing jeans, a black T-shirt and shades as he met with a group of men including former NYPD detective Herman Weisberg, who now manages an investigative intelligence firm that handles " criminal litigation, evidence gathering and witness interviews, infidelity surveillance, undercover operations, bug sweeps and trade secret protection investigations," according to the Post. Described as Weinstein's would-be "secret weapon" in the case, Weisberg's presence at the Cipriani meeting was confirmed by a source close to the Weinstein. "I hardly recognized [Weinstein]. He looks like he's aged 15 years. [He wasn't] walking well," the spy told the tab. "Harvey stopped at the bar with a group of guys, walked away to another table to make a phone call, and then rejoined them. I couldn't hear what they were talking about but they were fawning over him." A Post reporter got there after Weinstein had left, but a call to a lawyer in the group reportedly ended in threats to the paper, which claims its reporter was called profane names and warned, "Before you do this, think carefully about who you are and who we are," before being hung up on. A rep for Weinstein had no comment.
Tamera Mowry gets swarmed by the Beyhive
Pro tip: Should you find yourself in the same room as JAY-Z and notice he's charming, maybe keep that info to yourself. This lesson comes courtesy of the experience Tamera Mowry had this week after casually recalling on having met Jay at a premiere for "The Nutty Professor," which came out in 1996 — three years before Bey even met her future husband. In a conversation on "The Real," Tamera innocently said she noticed he was charming. "I've actually met Jay-Z in person. And, he wasn't with Beyoncé at the time and I wasn't dating anybody and when I met him," she said, according to the New York Post. "You do get like hit with the charm," she admitted, joking, "I found myself strangely asking for gum … It's so weird! I swear!" That anecdote was all it took for Beyonce's fans to swarm all over her social media pages and assure the married mom she had no chance with a guy she met more than 20 years ago who's now married (ahem). "You will never be Beyoncé!" wrote Bey fan. "That's why you had bronchitis because you talk to most s—!!!" The user then went on to dis Tamera's husband: "Jay don't want you that's why you got a old man 👴 @adamhousley what is he like 60 years old tam? This is the dusty thing your always tryna claim on the show? He ain't no prize sis." Others simply posted bee Emojis in the comments on her pages. Not everyone was out for blood, though. "You can tell the BeyHive is a bunch of really dumb kids who don't have jobs or responsibilities," wrote another user. "Who has time to go on random pages typing a bunch of bee emojis??? Find something to do y'all. She's happily married and so are JAY-Z and Beyonce."
Did Wendy Williams' husband force her into her new living situation?
Wendy Williams has been open about her struggles with addiction in the past, but her tearful announcement on Tuesday, March 19, that she's been living in a sober house surprised fans. Now, an insider who works at her show — which is produced by her husband, Kevin Hunter — tells the New York Post Kevin is responsible for putting her in that facility with a group of kids. "No one thinks it's the right place for Wendy," the source said. "She seems so frail and vulnerable. It's frightening just how completely under Kevin's control Wendy is … But she won't hear a word against him. Those close to her are terrified something awful is going to happen. She comes to the set looking terrible." In her announcement, she admitted she'd never been "to a place to get treatment," adding that only Kevin — not even her parents — knew she was living there. "I am driven by my 24-hour sober coach back to a home that I live in the tri-state with a bunch of smelly boys," she told viewers. "Doors locked by 10 p.m., lights out by 10 p.m., so I go to my room and stare at the ceiling and fall asleep to come here and see you. So that is my truth."
Jenny McCarthy's autism charity allegedly 'helped board members' profit from 'dangerous, discredited ideas'
Jenny McCarthy has been in the news this week mainly because of her new book and the stabs she takes in the pages at folks like Whoopi Goldberg and Barbara Walters. Jezebel's been focused on another side of Jenny, though — her spokesperson and board president roles for Generation Rescue. The organization is a charity that purportedly supports autistic children and their families. But as Jezebel shows in its expose, the group has long promoted autism treatments that mainstream science and medical experts have vocally dismissed as either ineffective or actually harmful. The website reports that at least two such treatments have also turned profits for previous board members while they were actively on the board. Jenny did not comment on the piece.
Michael Jackson's sales are up, wax figures remain on display in the wake of 'Leaving Neverland' backlash
In the wake of the "Leaving Neverland" premiere, multiple outlets are monitoring how Michael Jackson's legacy is being affected by allegations of sexual predatory behavior made in the movie. For the most part, it seems MJ's status remains relatively well cemented. Billboard reports his music streams and sales are actually up even though his airplay has fallen; he's also still getting more spins than Prince or Madonna, according to the magazine. Meanwhile, Madame Tussauds has no plans to remove the King of Pop's wax figures from any of its locations in spite of the backlash and #MuteMichaelJackson campaign. "The figures on display at Madame Tussauds reflect profiles that have had an impact on popular culture and that visitors expect to see. Michael Jackson has been and is currently a feature of Madame Tussauds attractions around the world," a spokesperson told TMZ. "We regularly monitor our choice of figures on display based on external events and visitor feedback. It will be kept on display for the foreseeable future."
