After 24 years of marriage, Kelly Ripa reveals the key to her happy life with Mark Conseulos

This spring, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos will celebrate 24 years of marriage — no small feat for any couple, let alone for spouses who've spent most of their adult lives on TV. On the Thursday, Jan. 23, edition of "Live with Kelly and Ryan," Kelly, 49, reflected on how she and Mark, 48, have managed to stay together — and stay happy — for all those years. "You're going to fight, you're going to have disagreements. Relationships, marriages are not sprints, it's a marathon," Kelly said when asked what advice she'd give young couples about marriage longevity (via People). "There's going to be like, mile 24, when you're like, 'I quit.' But you just got to push through. Just push through," she continued. "There's really nothing that's that insurmountable, besides abuse or things of that nature. You're going to fight. You're going to have disagreements. You're going to fundamentally not agree on things. And if you take a breath, you usually can't remember what you're fighting about." After meeting at Mark's audition for "All My Children" when Kelly was on the show, the two started dating. (Kelly has said she knew Mark was the one immediately, if not sooner.) They eventually married and soon welcomed three kids. Today, the couple seem to share similar notions about keeping a marriage strong. In an interview with Esquire last year, Mark was asked about the secret to his marital bliss. "I guess sometimes you see these public marriages end and you wonder, 'Really? You're going to quit now? It's just been a couple of years, maybe you should try to stick it out,'" he said at the time. "It's kind of great to have a life together with someone. Of course, I'm not supporting staying in a horrible marriage. I'm just saying, if you can, maybe wait until it calms down a little bit. Wait until the magic happens."

"Thank you for loving me at my worst," said Justin before turning his attention to his wife Hailey Bieber. "I love you with all my heart … and I'm so proud of us," he told her. Hailey plays a featured role in Justin's new multipart YouTube series, "Seasons," which premieres Jan. 27. He has not yet announced the release date or name of the new album, but Variety and Billboard both reported it leans more heavily on R&B elements than previous releases. Other outlets have confirmed guests include Travis Scott, Post Malone and Kehlani.

It's hard to imagine a blond Neo in "The Matrix," but as Brad Pitt revealed this week at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, he declined to work on the project when it came his way. Speaking to Leonard Maltin while being honored with the Maltin Modern Master Award on Wednesday, Jan. 24, the "Once Upon a Time …" star admitted that he's given up opportunities to work on lots of films that ended up being terrific. "The Matrix" was apparently the one that stuck out in his memory, though. "I did pass on 'The Matrix,'" he said of the 1999 film, according to Collider. "I took the red pill, he joked. "That's the only one I'm naming … I wasn't offered two or three. Only the first one. Just to clarify that. I come from a place, maybe it's my upbringing, if I didn't get it, then it wasn't mine. I really believe [the role] was never mine. It's not mine. It was someone else's and they go and make it. I really do believe in that. If we were doing a show on the great movies I've passed on, we would need two nights." Though he didn't say specifically that he was considered as a possible Neo, The Wrap reported last year he was initially a candidate for the role.

As a celebrity, she was recognized whenever she left the house and her friends were fading from her life, since that life was changing so quickly. She was lonely and felt isolated, according to CBS News, and became clinically depressed. "I don't want to be dark, but I genuinely didn't think I would make it to 17," she said. Gayle asked if Billie thought she "would do something to" herself. "Yeah," Billie said. "I think about this one time I was in Berlin and I was alone in my hotel … And I remember there was a window right there … I remember crying because I was thinking about how the way that I was going to die was, I was going to do it." When Gayle asked if a line in Billie's song, "Bury a Friend" — in which she sings, "Today, I'm thinkin' about the things that are deadly/The way I'm drinkin' you down/Like I wanna drown, like I wanna end me" — was essentially Billie "talking about herself," Billie didn't argue. "I was," she said. "It also rhymed," she added. Ultimately, she said she didn't go through with it because of her mother, Maggie Baird, who tours with her daughter and told Gayle "the fans and the shows" are what's "kept her going." She also relied on therapy and help from her other family members. "You made it to 17," Gayle noted. "I did," said Billie. "and I'm about to make it to 18." Billie is set to perform at the Grammy Awards on Sunday, Jan. 26.

The Jonas Brothers announce Las Vegas residency

Vegas, baby, Vegas! Grammy nominees the Jonas Brothers announced this week they're headed to Sin City this spring for a new residency at the Park Theater at Park MGM Resort. Rolling Stone reports the residency kicks off April 1, with presales beginning on Jan. 27 and 28. Joe Jonas, Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas are slated to perform "What a Man Gotta Do" for the first time this weekend when they take the stage at the 2020 Grammy Awards on Sunday, Jan. 26. Rosie Perez testifies Annabella Sciorra called her after alleged Harvey Weinstein attack

Rosie Perez stood up for her longtime friend Annabella Sciorra on Friday, Jan. 24, by taking the stand at Harvey Weinstein's sex assault trial. Earlier this week, Sciorra testified that the former producer raped her in her own apartment during the 1993-1994 winter. On Friday, Perez corroborated her friend's claim, sharing a story about the call she got from Sciorra a few weeks after the alleged incident. "I think something bad happened to me," Perez recalled Sciorra whispering to her, according to Page Six. "And I said, 'What's wrong with you?' and she said, 'I think something bad happened,'" Perez continued. In Sciorra's testimony, she explained that she thought rape had to be perpetrated by a stranger, leaving her confused about what happened when Weinstein allegedly forced himself on her. Perez continued: "She said, 'I think I was raped,' and the way she said it was so strange, because she was still whispering and she said, 'I was raped,' and her voice started shaking, and I said, 'Do you think or did it happen?' And … she started crying." Perez said she asked "who did it," but Sciorra couldn't tell her. "I woke up on the floor and my nighty was up," Perez recalled her saying. Perez said she tried to coax Sciorra into telling the police but Sciorra seemed too scared, saying, "I cannot, I cannot. I got to go," before hanging up. "I kept trying to call her back all night long …," Perez recalled, "and she wouldn't pick up the phone."

Kimora Lee Simmons adopts a fifth child

Kimora Lee Simmons is officially a mother of five after she and her husband Tim Leissner adopted a 10-year-old boy. Kimora's rep confirmed the happy news to Us Weekly, saying Gary "joins the family as Kimora's two daughters have gone off to college," and, "Kimora now has all boys at home," including Gary, Wolfe and Kenzo, the son she shares with ex Djimon Hounsou. Kimora shares daughters Ming and Aoki with her ex-husband, Russell Simmons.
