Kelly Ripa took care of her "acute Botox deficiency" last week, posting a jokey update from her dermatologist's office. Alas, her hairstylist won't be getting a similar shoutout anytime soon. With New York City on near-total lockdown on Sunday, March 22, the "Live!" host shared a selfie on her Instagram Story of her hair, sans color touch-up. "Root watch week one," she joked in the caption (via Page Six). Like a growing number of states, New York is now under orders to stay at home except for essential needs such as grocery or pharmacy trips, etc. As COVID-19 cases continue to expand across the country, state and local governments have tightened restrictions on residents' movement even more in the past few days. Kelly's moment of levity aside, she and her husband Mark Consuelos are clearly taking the pandemic seriously. The New York Post reports the couple has donated $1 million to relief efforts so far, earmarking funds for ventilator purchases via the New York Governor's Office and WIN, which works to shelter homeless families in New York City.

"But it was my choice to do that so I never let myself get bored. I watched movies, I read books. I would do full spa days and take long baths." David Beckham spent Sunday, March 22, celebrating "mothers across the world" in honor of Mother's Day, which arrived on Sunday, March 22, in the U.K. Included in his loving words for moms everywhere was praise for his wife, Victoria Beckham, as well as Victoria's mom, Jackie Adams and his own mother, Sandra Beckham. "Happy Mother's Day to the most amazing mums. We love you so much. so sad we can't all be together today but wanted you to know how much we miss and love you," David captioned a photo of the couple on Sunday. He went on to honor mothers on a global scale on his Instagram Story, sending some special love to those mothers "… out there working in healthcare, essential services and education keeping us safe and looking after our communities and our families," according to E! News. "I want to shine a light on them today. If your mum is working on the frontline in this terrible crisis I would love to hear her story and I will share some of them here," he continued. "Let's take a moment to be grateful for mothers everywhere because we owe them so much." In another post, the former soccer star referenced his work with UNICEF, sharing photos of other families he'd met "before the world was gripped by this awful virus." David closed by urging followers to "…celebrate our own mums but also all of the mothers doing their very best to protect their families in these uncertain times." Johnny Depp's libel trial delayed amid pandemic

Last week, it seemed possible Johnny Depp and Amber Heard would have to face off in court in London, given the Monday, March 23 trial date for the actor's libel case against the publisher of British tab, The Sun, which called him a "wife-beater" amid Amber Heard's allegations the actor abused her while they were married. The Guardian has since reported the judge opted to adjourn for now due to the COVID-19 pandemic. "Mr. Depp has spent years seeking justice. The Judge hearing Mr. Depp's defamation case against the Sun raised safety and practicality concerns. Although the case is extremely important to Mr. Depp, he was also uneasy about putting anyone else in harm's way for the sake of it," a lawyer for Depp said in a statement, according to Billboard. An attorney for the publisher told Thr Guardian he believes Depp wanted to delay the trial, "not because of the coronavirus, but because he cannot face the prospect of his lies about his relationship being exposed because he's a coward and because he knows he's going to lose."

"Let's all be one race," she added. "Because at the end of the day — in the eyes of God — we're all one. People make certain white jokes that be xenophobic, but it be so harmless. Daniel Dae Kim credits the Trump-touted anti-malaria drug with his COVID-19 recovery

Former "Lost" star Daniel Dae Kim is starting to recover after testing positive for COVID-19 and he credits his condition's improvement with the controversial anti-malaria drug Donald Trump has talked up. Calling hydroxychloroquine his "secret weapon," the 51-year-old said on Instagram over the weekend that he believes the drug was "critical" in getting him "practically back to normal" shortly after his diagnosis. "Yes, this is the drug that the President mentioned the other day," he said in a video (via Page Six), adding "I am feeling better." He went on to warn, "I won't say this is a cure and I won't say definitively that you should go out and use it, but what I will say is that I believe it was crucial to my recovery," joking, "Obviously I am not a doctor, nor am I a lawyer — though I have played them on TV." Daniel, who lives in South Korea, also admitted that he'd like to take another test "for peace of mind" but "there just aren't enough tests," which he said "mystifies" him given the months-long "head start" his country had in getting ready for the outbreak. As of Sunday, March 22, Daniel expected to be done with his quarantine by Monday.

On March 14, Matthew told Deadline his sister was "on the road to a full recovery." Over the weekend, Matthew's wife Sarah Jessica Parker shared another update with a fan on Instagram. "She is better. She was very sick," SJP told the commenter. "Home from the hospital now. Recovering. Thank you for asking. X," she added.
