Khloe Kardashian denies claims her dinner with Tristan Thompson was 'tense'
Khloe Kardashian should have plenty to smile about now that she's back in Los Angeles with Tristan Thompson and their daughter, True, but there appeared to be a distinct lack of joy at the couple's table when they joined friends for dinner at Boa on Sunday, June 24. Photos published by the Daily Mail show Khloe staring flatly ahead with a dark expression on her face — and a new diamond on her ring finger — during much of the evening. She supposedly appeared "sad and bored" during the "very tense" dinner date. She could be seen yawning and checking her phone while Tristan fixated on his own cell. Khloe, however, takes issue with the story. "You make up anything!! I actually had a great night," she said on Twitter Monday. "It was a large birthday dinner for friends and as a new mom IM TIRED AF!! Being out past 10pm is not where I'll have the most energy these days." Khloe and Tristan are reportedly trying to work things out in the wake of multiple allegations Tristan cheater on Khloe shortly before the birth of their daughter earlier this year. "Everyone is back on board … friends, family and Khloe have all forgiven him and are giving him this second chance," a source recently told the Mail. And so far it's been working for them. They are all about forgiveness, and now it's up to him to prove himself." Tristan also reportedly introduced his 1-year-old son, Prince, to True over the weekend. Tristan split from Prince's mother while she was pregnant.
Kaley Cuoco dances up a storm at her bachelorette party
Kaley Cuoco's one step closer to walking down the aisle with Karl Cook. On Sunday, June 24, she and her family and friends shared a slew of Instagram Stories from Kaley's bachelorette party, which was decorated with pink balloons — many of the guests wore pink, as well. "The most magical night ever," Kaley wrote in one post on social media (via Us Weekly). "Thank you to my amazing friends and family for celebrating my future as Mrs. Cook! I have never felt more loved 💕." Joining Kaley for what appeared to have been quite the dance party were her sister, singer Briana Cuoco, her mother, Layne Cuoco and "Fashion Police" star Brad Goreski. Despite the heavy pink accents that colored the bash, Kaley, who wore a pink gown when she married her ex, Ryan Sweeting, assured followers in one Instagram video that this time around, "I'm getting married in white." Kaley and Karl got engaged in December.

Adele is working on new music after extended break
Good news for Adele fans who have been making due with "performances" like the singer's Beyonce sing-along/rock-out session during Bey's streamed Coachella set! The New York Post reports Adele will spend the summer working on new music for her first album since 2015. Following her 2016 world tour, Adele, who welcomed a son five years ago, announced she would be taking some time off. The Post's sources say she's now back in action, having met with execs at Sony headquarters in London earlier this month. "She's back in the UK and intends to write here," said one insider. ":A number of studio musicians have been approached to work with her and she's already penned some of the songs." She's reportedly hoping to release the album around Christmas 2019.
Brad Pitt is all smiles on the set of 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood'
Things remain on the upswing for Brad Pitt, who's been filming Quentin Tarantino's "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" and spending time with friends in recent weeks, according to People. "He seems like a better version of the old happy Brad. He looks like he has aged in reverse. You can tell he is taking better care of himself. He also seems very positive about the future," an insider tells People of the 54-year-old actor. A source close to the Tarantino film added that the father of six has been all smiles on set. "Brad filmed a few scenes earlier this week in L.A. and the set vibe has been amazing," the insider said. "Everyone is excited to work with him and Quentin. Of course Quentin is demanding to work with, but also fun. Brad has been great. Some of the set worked with him before, so Brad made sure to say hello to familiar faces. He is very professional and friendly. Everyone calls him Brad. It's been clear that he just wants to shoot the best movie possible. He has been all about work and seems very happy about filming." Despite all the positivity around the Manson family killings-focused film, the vibe could shift once the movie comes out. Celebitchy recently noted that virtually every star in the film is male and white.
Celebs flock to Mexican border to stand in solidarity with separated migrant families
Scores of demonstrators — including Sia, Lena Dunham and Amber Heard — made their way to border checkpoints in Texas over the weekend to protest the separation of migrant families amid Donald Trump's "zero tolerance" immigration policy. In a selfie taken alongside Lena, Sia urged followers to donate to the civic media organization Votolatino, an organization designed to "empower young Latinos to be agents of change." "Help @votolatino do imperative work to protect and serve our asylum seekers. I will match all donations up to $100k," Sia captioned her post. "Please RT votolatino.org/donate." Amber also shared photos from her time at the border in Texas, captioning one pic, "Detaining entire families is not a solution, it's a jail sentence. This administration needs to stop traumatizing our children and putting families in cages. Text ;BELONG' to 97779 to fight back against their cruel and dangerous policies. #FamiliesBelongTogether." Lena, meanwhile, thanked those she met at the border for their open-armed reception. "We came to Tornillo, Texas, to show our solidarity with the families who have been separated, the children who are alone, the parents who are grieving and the undocumented Americans who are losing more than I can fathom. Thank you, Tornillo, for showing us a warm border welcome and reminding us that together we rise," she wrote, tagging Sia, Amber, Ryan Reynolds, Ione Sky and others who have been involved in the protests. ON Saturday, the White House acknowledged that more than 2,000 migrant families remain separated, with their children under the care of the Department of Health and Human Services. As CNN has reported, the lack of details for action in the president's executive order regarding keeping migrant families together makes it unclear how the White House plans to reunite families that have already been torn apart in their bids for asylum in the U.S. Sia, Lena and Amber's protests come a week after George Clooney and Amal Clooney donated $100,000 to a group that advocates on behalf of migrant children.
Alleged trespasser claims to be Rihanna
Extra points for creativity? Rihanna got mixed up in a trespassing arrest last week at a Rite Aid in the Beverly Hills section of Los Angeles — or, at least her name did. TMZ reports police arrested a woman on the drug store's property; when they asked for ID, she said she had nothing with her. She then told them her name was Robyn Rihanna Fenty, Rihanna's full name, and that her birthday was Feb, 20, 1986. That's where she went slightly off course. RiRi was born Feb. 20, 1988. The cops, TMZ notes, didn't exactly believe the woman from the start. She got a misdemeanor trespassing citation before being released.
Alec Baldwin invites Melania Trump to join him on 'SNL'
Melania Trump need not dwell on the dark side. That's the message Alec Baldwin seemed to be sending the FLOTUS over the weekend on Twitter. "Dear Melania- We know what you're thinking. What you're feeling. You are quaking w anticipation. Shuddering w a strange, newfound courage," he tweeted on Saturday, June 23 (via THR). "Come. Come over to the light. We will welcome you as a hero in ways you never imagined possible. And then do SNL w me. Sincerely, Alec." The actor, who has made it quite clear he detests Melania's husband, Donald Trump, added in a second tweet, "We have a chair waiting for you in the @nbcsnl make-up room." The tweets come on the heels of Melania's re-emergence into the public sphere after a long apparent break. Though some expressed concern for her well-being while she was out of the spotlight, that sentiment changed when she wore a jacket emblazoned with the words, "I REALLY DON'T CARE, DO U?" on her flight to visit a detention center for migrant children.
Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham buy a new home
"Bachelor" alums Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham are the proud new owners of an $870,000 home in Phoenix, Arizona. The pair announced their news over the weekend on social media, with Arie joking that he has "blue pants to match our door," in the caption to a professional photo they had taken of themselves and the 2,607 square-foot house. Arie, a real estate agent, and Lauren, who hopes to go into business with Arie once they settle into their new pad, moved into the new house in part because of their neighbor's annoying interest in their celebrity status. "It's not fun having pictures of you in your pajamas showing up on the internet," Lauren told GQ earlier this year. Speaking to E! News, Arie said, "Buying a house is obviously another huge step in our relationship and we are excited to really make this our home. It was built this year and we can't wait to move in!" Arie and Lauren plan to marry in January 2019.
Jimmy Fallon says he'll host 'The Tonight Show' 'as long as you'll have me'
Jimmy Fallon has hosted "The Tonight Show" for more than four years now and though he hopes to continue hosting it indefinitely, he has no interest in changing the focus from its original, variety show focus to something that would put him more at the center of the action. "'The Tonight Show' — just calling it a show is an old-fashioned-y thing," he says in the latest edition of the "Good One" podcast (via Vulture). "No one calls their show 'it's the 'blank' show' anymore. It's old-fashioned. There's something I like about it. That's why it's been around for so long." Asked what he thinks "The Tonight Show" might look like in 20 years — and what he could see himself doing for 20 years, career-wise, he says his position has changed when it comes to that kind of career longevity. "I didn't think I could do anything for 20 years," he admits. "People got to watch me grow up on television literally. I was 23. I have kids now, I'm married now. I don't laugh in all my sketches now — 78 percent. Most sketches. The ones that are funny, that's the ones I laugh at. But yeah, as long as people are watching. I don't know what it is, but I have something in me that doesn't stop. If I want to do something, I'll find a way to do that." He continues: "There's always going to be something you want to look forward to at the end of your day, whether it be Colbert or Kimmel or Conan or whoever makes you laugh and go, 'Ugh, I love this show because it makes me laugh and I just forget about everything and I just go, 'Thank you, that's what I need.' There's room for all of that. I'll be around as long as you'll have me."
