Kim Kardashian admits she almost backed out of marrying Kris Humphries
When Kim Kardashian West announced her split from Kris Humphries after just 72 days of marriage in 2011, many critics assumed the $6 million wedding — and the $10 million worth of ad revenue the E! special earned for "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" — was all an act. As Kim reveals in the new issue of the Hollywood Reporter, however, those closest to her knew something was off from the start. "There was all this attention on the wedding, and I thought maybe it was just the pressure of the show giving me this anxiety. My friends told me I just had cold feet, but even the producers said, 'You don't seem happy. You don't have to go through with this,'" she recalls. "The night before, my mom pulled me aside, off camera, and was like, 'This isn't it for you. Why don't you go away and I'll handle it?' I felt like, if I pulled out now, everyone's going to think I just did it for the show. Then afterwards, people were saying, 'You have to stay married for a year,' but I physically couldn't do it. When I made the decision [to divorce], everyone said it was made up for the show. Everyone really wanted to take me down." Kim also points out that the divorce was far from uncomplicated: "If it was for the show, don't you think you'd want as little legal trouble as possible?" she asks. "This was real emotions, real feelings. People f— up.'" Although her current husband Kanye West allowed cameras to film his proposal, Kim points out that for the most part, the rapper and designer isn't interested in being part of the series. "… I won't really ever talk about something that's going on with Kanye," she adds. "I'll talk about how I feel. He knows that I'm really protective of him."

'The Hunger Games' will soon be an actual theme park
Dystopian times call for dystopian theme parks, apparently. Lionsgate Entertainment Company has announced "Hunger Games" fans will soon be able to "experience actual movie scenes" from the dark films courtesy of a massive theme park in South Korea, according to E! News. (Who wouldn't want to take a bow and arrow to their friends to avoid their own slow, painful death? What fun!) The park, dubbed Lionsgate Movie World, is set to take up 1.3 million square feet and will also feature "zones" representing "Twilight" (which we hope involves more hot, sparkly vampires and fewer evil ones), "Now You See Me" and "Robin Hood." Construction is expected to begin next year for a 2019 opening.

Britney Spears redrafts will with trusts for her kids
Jayden James and Sean Preston Federline are about to become heirs to a serious fortune. TMZ reports their mom Britney Spears is redrafting her will to ensure her sons get every last cent of the hundreds of millions of dollars her estate is worth after she's gone. The document reportedly stipulates the 11 and 10-year-old boys would begin getting access to the money via a trust when they turn 18. They would be given more access to the inheritance as they get older, with the full amount becoming available to them when they turn 35, according to the website.

In 1993, Calvin Klein hired a little-known young model named Kate Moss for his Obsession campaign. She'd been branded too skinny and too plain by some but the designer wanted her then-boyfriend Mario Sorrenti to shoot her for his new fragrance campaign. Now 43 and one of the most successful supermodels in history, Kate reflects on the experience of being sent on vacation with Mario for the shoot in the new issue of Harper's Bazaar. "I think Calvin was really clever. He knew there was going to be something … I knew it was a job, but I thought it was going to be a right laugh. It was the only time I got paid to go away. It's never been like that since," she says. Kate's said in the past that Mario was taking pictures of a real-life "obsession" when he shot those now iconic nude snaps. But she tells Harper's there was more to it than that. "Mario worked me like a dog. He was more professional than I was. He didn't stop taking pictures even when I was sleeping. I was like, 'Leave me alone.' I'd wake up to the click of the Pentax. I don't remember relaxing. I remember working. I laid down on that couch for days. Days! For days, he'd say, 'Stay there and don't move,'" she recalls. "People can't take pictures like that anymore. The photos weren't styled. There was nobody doing my hair and makeup. It was just raw. It captured a moment in our lives. And you couldn't re-create them or that feeling. We didn't have anything to lose and didn't care what people thought. It was seven days on our own. It was very passionate. Mario and I were young and we were in love."
Paris Jackson is 'a natural' onscreen, says her 'Star' director Lee Daniels
After years of acting lessons, Paris Jackson landed a role in Lee Daniels' series "Star." And as he recently told the New York Post, he couldn't be more impressed with her performance so far. "Paris is terrific. Unusual. A natural. It's exciting bringing her into this world," the director gushed. "She plays a sort of social-media guru … Only her character turns from a nice lady into a really tough b—-." Lee went on to explain that Paris' character "becomes contentious" for the girl-groups who are trying to make it big on the show. "It's a recurring role where she turns into a sort of nightmare who drives them bats— crazy," he added. "Paris didn't know what to expect when she first came on. She was guarded. Now she loves doing the show. The girls welcomed her, took her in, and they're all buddies. See, I love new talent. Some start out with little ego, humble pie, and I appreciate how they blossom."
Taylor Swift sent flowers to her Craftsy support team
The good vibes kept comin' in Denver, Colorado, this week after Taylor Swift won her sexual assault case. Throughout the trial, the staff at Craftsy, whose office is across the street from the courthouse, used post-it-notes to spell out messages of support — like "fearless," "free Tay" and "haterz gonna hate" for the singer. Her response? A bazillion floral arrangements, delivered to the office to show the singer's gratitude. "Thank you @taylorswift13!" the Craftsy crew wrote on social media, sharing a photo of their gift. " "We're so happy our messages brightened your day as much as your flowers brightened ours!"
Zayn Malik hopes 'people will feel closer' to him through his new music
What if Zayn Malik had never indulged his interest in music — or never hit it big? In the new issue of VMAN magazine, the singer considers what his life might be like if he had chosen another path. "I think about that quite a lot. I think about alternative realities," says the former One Direction star. "I think I'd be at university and I would have done my English degree. I think I'd be looking for some employment to do with English lecturing or literature. I love poetry and writing — obviously, I'm a songwriter — so, it would've been something that would still give me the feeling of a creative outlet within my writing." Zayn also opens up about how he hopes people will respond to his new music in the cover story. "I hope people get an insight to me as a person, because I'm not the most open book in terms of my personal life," I hope people get an understanding of where I'm coming from or what I'm thinking and what I'm going through, and feel closer to me through that. I just want my music to speak for me, and if it does that successfully, then I'm happy with what I achieve."
Ben Affleck celebrates his birthday with his three kids
Forty-five and feelin' fine! A smiling Ben Affleck celebrated his 45th trip around the sun on Tuesday, Aug. 15, with dinner at Barton G in Los Angeles. His dining companions? All three of his kids — Violet, 11, Seraphina, 8, and Samuel, 5 — according to E! News. Earlier in the day, Ben's ex Jennifer Garner was spotted leaving a bakery with a large box in her hands, leading photographers to guess she pitched in on the party with some sweets. Ben, who's been dating "SNL" producer Lindsay Shookus for the past month, was also treated to a bunch of balloons imprinted with the number "45."
Chris Brown opens up about his abusive relationship with Rihanna
It's still hard for many fans to fathom how Rihanna and Chris Brown became close again after he beat her so badly the night of the 2009 Grammy Awards that she contacted the police and required medical attention. But in a clip from Chris' new autobiographical documentary, "Chris Brown: Welcome to My Life," he tried to explain what happened that night. They had gotten serious as a couple fast, he recalls, and after denying having slept with a woman she'd asked him about, he came clean and admitted he had slept with her before he and Rihanna started dating. "My trust totally was lost with her, she hated me after that. I tried everything, she didn't care. She just didn't trust me after that," he says in the clip, which surfaced on Facebook this week (via Us Weekly). "From there, it just went downhill because there were too many verbal fights, physical fights as well. Mutual sides. It is the first time I get to say anything. We would fight each other. She would hit me, I would hit her and it never was OK." They recognized it was an unhealthy pattern. "There was always a point where we'd talk about it like, 'What the f— are we doing?'" he recalls. "I'm not ever trying to put my hands on any female." Admitting that he "felt like a f—— monster," he says the night of the Grammys the woman they'd fought about approached them at the awards show. "The ceremony's about to start, she's just crying. She got over it. She started drinking a little bit, we both was drinking a little bit. We was tipsy, laughing and then we left," Chris says. The fighting resumed in the car. "She starts going off, she throws the phone …'I hate you.' She hits me a couple more times. I remember she tried to kick me, but then I really hit her, with a closed fist, I punched her. I busted her lip," he admits. "When I saw it, I was in shock. I was like, 'F—' why the hell did I hit her? From there she just spit in my face, spit blood in my face and it enraged me even more." That's when he says he pulled the car over. "She takes the keys out of the car and fakes it like she throws them out of the window," he continues. "I get out the car and I'm looking for the keys and somebody yelled and she yells out her door, 'Help, he's trying to kill me.'" Rihanna has since called her breakup from Chris "the hardest time [of her] life." She's also said she channeled the feelings it elicited into her 2009 album "Rated R."
Lady Gaga will be deposed in Kesha/Dr. Luke case next month
Last month, Lady Gaga's lawyers slammed claims from Dr. Luke's legal team that singer was avoiding a deposition in Kehsa's defamation case and had joined "a smear campaign" against the producer. Now, E! News reports Gaga "will appear for a deposition pursuant to [Dr. Luke's] subpoena in this action during the month of September 2017." Lady G.'s lawyers have also agreed to "produce unredacted copies of certain of the documents that were previously produced in redacted form," according to court filings. Dr. Luke's lawyers have declaredin court documents that Gaga "has relevant information regarding, among other things, false statements about Dr. Luke made to her by Kesha." But Gaga's team says she's handed over all "the relevant information" and slammed Luke's lawyers for "falsely accusing [Gaga] of dodging reasonable requests." Like other celebs, Gaga has stood by Kesha, who claims Dr. Luke sexually assaulted her. "I think that people should just know that there's so much more than what meets the eye in a case like that," Gaga told a radio host during an interview on 97.1 AMP Radio. "I feel like she's being very publicly shamed for something that happens in the music industry all the time, to women and men. I just want to stand by her side because I can't watch another woman that went through what I've been through suffer."
