Kylie Jenner, Stassie Karanikolaou throw a party for their newfound sight
It's a miracle, they can see! OK, it's actually just Lasik, but Kylie Jenner and her pal Stassie Karanikolaou were about as excited as two people who'd been touched by the hand of God when they filmed the segment for Stassie's vlog about their corrective eye surgery experience that aired this week. The episode, based on ET's account, shows Stassie and Kylie getting the surgery because, as Stassie tells viewers, "we were both too scared to do this by ourselves." After the procedure, Stassie announces she's feeling "loopy" while Kylie recuperates with her eyes closed. "Guess who can see?" Stassie asks later. Says Kylie, "We can!" They then throw themselves a party — on a party bus — to celebrate what Stassie calls their "birthday of sight." Their ensembles for the event? Matching latest dresses, each of which are skintight — and have a big eyeball on the front. Uh, happy birthday, to your new eyes, ladies …
Hailey Baldwin has 'no response' to backlash about post fans assumed was Selena Gomez-related
Can everyone please leave Hailey Bieber and her music choice du jour alone? That's the gist of a statement she gave JustJared this week after fans began tweeting in earnest about their belief something in her Instagram Story was a nasty response to "Lose You to Love Me," the new track Selena Gomez just released. The song is already rumored to have been written about Selena's ex (and Hailey's husband), Justin Bieber, even though Selena announced it "was inspired by many things that have happened in my life since releasing my last album," which she did four years ago. In that time, Selena has dated and broken up with The Weeknd, dealt with serious physical health issues including Lupus and a kidney transplant, checked into a treatment center for help related to the mental health issues stemming from her physical trials — and, yeah … reconnected with and split up (again) with Justin. "I thought it was important to share the music, as I know many can relate to the fact that the road to self-discovery generally comes through the scars in one's life," she said in a post announcing her new music. "I want people to feel hope and to know you will come out the other side stronger and a better version of yourself." Welp, what appears to be Hailey's first post since Selena's song hit the internet was a track by Summer Walker called "I'll Kill You." As you might expect, it's sung from the perspective of a woman warning other ladies away from her man. Twitter soon responded with a storm of angry comments, many of which had a "how dare she" vibe to them. Asked for a response to the whole situation, Hailey gave the equivalent of an eye-roll. "Please stop with this nonsense," she told the outlet. "There is no 'response.' This is complete BS."

Naomi Campbell recalls feeling 'uncomfortable' as the only woman of color in a sea of white faces in fashion
From Naomi Campbell's perspective, "there have been a few [red flags]" in the fashion world recently that suggest tokenism is alive and well. Speaking to WSJ. Magazine at the WSJ Tech Live conference (via E! News), the supermodel explained why she thinks any such tokenism will die out, though. "I'm not gonna call people out and I have to believe that everybody is coming from a good place. We'll discover as we go along—we will know who is doing it for the token and who is doing it for real," she said. "I know what it's like to be the token and it wasn't a good feeling to have to always be the only black model in a show of 70 girls. It was uncomfortable. I didn't like it." She added that she still felt compelled to do the shows as the only woman of color because, as she put it, " if I said no, there'd be none, it was a rock between a hard place," and said flatly it's "not true" that she "wanted" to be the only black woman in the industry in the '80s and '90s.

Wait, who was really meanest girl in "Mean Girls?" According to Lizzy Caplan, who played Janice Ian, it was not Regina George nor was it Cady Heron. It was maybe, possibly Janice, whose outcast character wreaked havoc on the lives of others. She was just trickier about it. BuzzFeed recently checked in with the "Castle Rock" about the cult favorite film and asked if she thought a viral Twitter thread about Janice's evil ways was on target. "Yeah, of course!" Lizzie replied to the outlet. "But she was way craftier than the other mean girls. She was a mean girl with spy plans — with purpose!" Look, even teenagers know it's good to have goals …
