Hot Girl Meg's still perfecting her COVID test reaction
Hot Girl Meg's making sure her fans know coronavirus tests are cool –complete with hilarious proof that she's still getting used to them. On Thursday, Dec. 3, Megan Thee Stallion shared a pair of Instagram videos that show her and her manager getting COVID-19 tests through the windows of their vehicle. As many of us know by now, tests either swab the mouth or the nose, but the generally preferred approach seems to be the molecular PCR test with a nasopharyngeal swab. Yep, that's the so-called "brain swab," which Meg's post proves really isn't that bad. (But it is funny.) In her videos, viewers first see the rapper's manager smiling gamely as a medical professional reaches into the car with a long swab, which then goes up his nose. He's super calm the whole time and the test is over in seconds. The next clip shows Meg with a prize-winning wince on her face as she waits for a gloved hand to come in the car window with another swab. By the end of her quick test, though, Meg's "ick" face is (almost) gone. "We take covid test every 3 got d— days and I'm STILL not comfortable with this … 😖😖😖 . Farris be taking it like a G 😂😂😂😂."

Beyonce wishes Britney Spears a very HBD with cute throwback pic
Birthday girl Britney Spears is the latest pop star to get some HBD love from Queen Bey. Brit turned 39 on Wednesday, Dec. 2, and Beyonce, who turned 39 last month, marked the occasion on her own official website, where she posted a throwback, black and white baby picture of the "Toxic" singer alongside block letters that read simply, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRITNEY SPEARS." In fact, Bey's been sharing the b-day love with other artists for a while now. Back in April, Lizzo got a baby pic shout-out for her 32nd on Beyonce.com. And unlike Britney, who played the whole "Beyonce posted about my birthday on her website" thing cool, Lizzo adorably lost it. "BEY YON SAY wished me a happy birthday …," she wrote in one of multiple hilarious IG posts. "I don't know how to ACT," Lizzo continued. "She is my inspiration to be a singer after seeing destiny's child perform in the 5th grade… I LOVE YOU BEY!" Britney — who appeared with Beyonce in a 2003 Pepsi commercial — reportedly celebrated her milestone with an early b-day trip to Hawaii with her beau, Sam Asghari.
Liam Hemsworth is reportedly unbothered by Miley Cyrus' new comments about their marital conflict
In an interview with Howard Stern that aired on his SiriusXM Radio show this week, Miley Cyrus spoke candidly about her divorce from Liam Hemsworth, among other personal matters. "… There was too much conflict …," she said of their long and frequently on-off romance. "When I come home, I want to be anchored by someone. I don't get off on drama or fighting," Miley added. Whether that statement was on-target or not, a source tells ET Liam isn't "upset" about anything Miley said in her apperance on "Howard Stern." "Liam was very hurt when they initially broke up, but he has moved on now and is happy with Gabriella," the insider says of Liam's girlfriend, Gabriella Brooks. "He's very traditional and Gabriella shares the same values as him and gets along with his family. Their relationship is easygoing and they have similar upbringings and backgrounds." In Miley's explanation of her split from Liam, she said the fire that burned down their house in Malibu, California, was the beginning of the end. Having "lost everything," she said she, "clung to what I had left of that house, which was me and him." There are no hard feelings on her side, either. "And I really do and did love him very, very, very much and still do," she added. "Always will." Liam filed for divorce from Miley in August 2019.

New details on Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton's wedding plans
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton could be chapel-bound in a matter of months — and the chapel isn't too far from home. According to a new report from Us Weekly, the "Voice" stars plan to exchange vows at Blake's ranch in Oklahoma, where he's reportedly built a chapel, presumably for the occasion, with "input" from Gwen. "It's really a tribute to their love," a source tells the tab. "They are going to get married in the chapel, most likely early next year." The lovebirds announced their engagement in October after having spent much of the pandemic together at Blake's ranch.
Robin Roberts is helping Al Roker's wife Deborah Roberts 'navigate' Al's cancer diagnosis
As Al Roker continues to recover from surgery following his cancer diagnosis, his wife, Deborah Roberts, has a friend to help guide her through the ordeal in fellow ABC News journalist, Robin Roberts. "I have been almost in constant contact with her and helping her navigate," Robin told ET this week. Robin, 60, battled breast cancer in 2007 and in 2012, was treated for myelodysplastic syndrome, a group of cancers involving the bone marrow. "Al Roker, he's got this," she told ETY, praising Al's for being so "resilient" that he's already returned to work on "Today" just weeks after his diagnosis and surgery. "Both of them have been dear friends …," she said of Al and Deborah. "I am not surprised at all that he has handled it with the grace that he hasn't run from it. That he is willing to let his journey be a lesson for others and I'm very confident that things are going to go well for him. My heart goes out to both he and Deb. He's a good man."
Asked if he'd ever return to 'DWTS,' Tom Bergeron says 'that train has left the station'
July's news that longtime "Dancing With the Stars" hosts Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews had been axed from their posts came as a shock to fans. Those fans should probably get used to their replacement, Tyra Banks, though, because it sure doesn't sound like Tom has any interest returning, were he to be asked. "When people say, 'I'm not gonna watch until you're back,' I say, 'Well, there's really no 'until' here,'" Tom recently told TV Guide Magazine (via ET). "This train has left the station." In fact, Tom, 65, isn't feeling too inspired right now to get back to work as a TV host at all. "I've hosted every format imaginable," he mused. "There's no real fire in my gut to do it again. Having said that, I'm always open to surprises."
Kelly Dodd says she regrets calling COVID-19 'God's way of thinning the herd'
Kelly Dodd didn't make a lot of friends in April when she wrote on Instagram that the coronavirus is "God's way of thinning the herd." But as "The Real Housewives of Orange County" star told Andy Cohen this week on "What What Happens Live," she does "regret" the remarks, particularly after her mother's bout with COVID-19 landed her in the ICU. "At the time, it was a question — like, 'Why are all these people dying? … Why [do] pandemics happen like this? Is it God's way of thinning the herd?'" the 47-year-old explained (via People). (What she actually posted in April was: "It's God's way of thinning the herd! If you are vulnerable or compromised stay inside. If you don't protect others by wearing masks and gloves keep your distance and don't go out if you are ill!! It's common sense!") Kelly's "WWHL" appearance on Wednesday, Dec. 2, came just as the U.S. set a new, single-day record for COVID-19-related deaths, with 2,800 recorded fatalities. "It was insensitive and I apologize if I hurt or offended anybody, 'cause that wasn't really my intention," she continued. "I got freaked out about it and in hindsight, it was the stupidest thing I've ever said," she added, noting she'd been "misinformed" about the virus at the time. "I'm claustrophobic. I can't stand wearing a mask and now I understand the science behind it and I'm ready, willing and able to wear a mask and I know that it's important." As for her estranged mother, Kelly reported she's now back at home.
Dolly Parton: Songwriting has been 'great therapy' during the pandemic
While promoting her first holiday album in three decades on the "Table Manners" podcast this week, Dolly Parton spent some time dishing on her own personal kryptonite — "my weaknesses have always been men, sex and food and not necessarily in that order," she said — and her marriage before the conversation turned to music. Dolly, 74, has been married to Carl Thomas Dean, 78, since 1966, though he almost never joins her at public events, preferring to maintain a private life. "My husband and I have been together for 57 years and married for 54," she said at one point on the show, before joking, "… and I'm sick of him and I'm sure he's sick of me." As for her new release, "Holly Dolly Christmas," the legendary country star explained that she'd had it in her head to record a new album for the holidays for some time before she actually followed through with it, according to the Daily Mail. "Timing is everything and I've always been lucky with timing," she quipped. Asked about her new writing, Dolly said she wrote new songs but was also "writing a lot of other things" at the start of the coronavirus pandemic. "I think because I've been so emotional, and just being in tune with people and their sorrows with what's going on and I'm a very emotional sensitive person and I just write all the time," she explained. "It's been great therapy for me. It's been a great release for me feeling like I'm also being productive."
Police called to Billie Lourd's home after construction worker shooting
Multiple outlets have confirmed police were called after "one shot was fired" at Billie Lourd's estate in Los Angeles, the morning of Wednesday, Dec. 2. No one was reportedly injured and Billie, who welcomed her first child with fiance Austen Rydell, was not home at the time. According to TMZ, the gun shot was fired by a construction worker involved with Billie's project to combine her mom, Carrie Fisher's house and her grandmother, Debbie Reynolds' house into one big compound. Police sources told the outlet there was some kind of "altercation" related to the shooter's having been cut from the gig. The worker is said to have produced a rifle during the argument and aimed it at the person he was fighting with before ultimately shooting once at the ground and fleeing the scene in a car. As of Thursday, Billie's rep had not commented on the incident.
