Is Miley Cyrus' new tattoo a 27th birthday reminder?

Introducing tattoo number … meh, we lost count somewhere between 15 and 20. (Something tells us a gal whose body ink includes an avocado and a jar of Vegemite may have lost count, too.) Tat tallies aside, Miley Cyrus debuted her latest piece of body art this week on her Instagram Story and according to Marie Claire, her boyfriend Cody Simpson appears to have gone under the needle with her again. Miley's new ink is a skeleton on her upper arm with a crown on its head and a big heart in its otherwise empty chest cavity. Marie Claire notes the skeleton appears under a Pixies lyric she got on the same arm after her split from Liam Hemsworth ("My head was feeling scared, but my heart was feeling free," the line reads). Cody, who seems to be the tall dude Miley's leaning on in one of the posts, reportedly got a bust of Apollo. But Miley's tattoo seems to have a somewhat serious meaning. The couple's ink shop visit comes after they spent their first Thanksgiving together and celebrated Miley's 27th birthday with her family. Photos from the gathering show the birthday girl wearing a crown as she blows out a heart-shaped cake. Given the lore that looms around 27-year-old rock stars — Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix and Jim Morrison all died at that age — Miley's big-hearted, crown-clad skeleton sure feels like it has birthday significance.

Liam Hemsworth's rumored girlfriend Maddison Brown dodges relationship status question

Back in October, Liam Hemsworth was spotted on what appeared to be a date with the new "Dynasty" reboot's Maddison Brown, who plays Kirby Anders on the series. Neither of the Australia-born stars has confirmed their relationship status since their PDA-packed hang, and according to the Daily Mail, Maddison wants to keep it that way. Kim Kardashian urges NASA, Boeing to clean up toxic nuclear reactor site in California

Kim Kardashian West isn't just fighting for criminal justice reform, she's advocating on behalf of her fellow Californians' health, too. This past weekend's edition of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" showed Kim and Kourtney Kardashian attending a Rock the Cleanup event commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Santa Susana Field Lab's nuclear meltdown in the Simi Valley, a cause she took to social media this week. More than half a century after the meltdown, residents who live near the 3,000-acre site are still fighting with NASA and Boeing to complete the cleanup of the region that was promised to them back in 2010 as part of a deal with the Department of Energy. Their fight stems from the high cancer rates found around where the lab was in the wake of the disaster. Addressing the issue on Twitter on Monday, Dec. 2, Kim wrote: "The timing of our Keeping Up With The Kardashians episode last night talking about Santa Susana is synergistic. NASA has agreed legally to pay for the clean up knowing this was their test sight [sic] where they would test rockets but is now trying to back out." She added: "NASA is attempting to break out of its cleanup agreement and leave most of its contamination not cleaned up. The public can weigh in on their plan by sending in comments to NASA by December 9." Kim went on to share the story of one of many parents and relatives who believe their children and other family members contracted cancer from the toxic site. Kim urged fans to contact their representatives because "the moms fighting to protect their kids need your help." According to the Los Angeles Daily News and Daily Mail, Kim has also brought the matter to Donald Trump's attention and, following her tweets, multiple congressmen and women sent an open letter urging a "full cleanup in a timely manner."

Five years after Prince performed at Essence Festival in New Orleans, some of the late singer's most prized former possessions are back in the Big Easy. According to local affiliate Fox News 8, a selection of items from Prince's jewelry collection, many of which he wore onstage, recently went on sale at the French Quarter's M.S. Rau Antiques. Among the pieces are an amethyst love symbol pendant that was custom-made for the singer, a custom onyx crescent moon pendant and at least two Versace pieces. If you're thinking about snagging one, however, be warned there are no lingering Cyber Monday deals here — the love symbol pendant alone is priced at $58, 500. Page Six reports the shop expects the pieces to bring in at least $150,000. Prince died in April 2016 of an accidental opioid overdose.

"You probably want me to say something scandalous, like 'She doesn't shave her legs,' … which is totally true," Ellen cracked. "Her assistant does it for her. Twice a day." Asked about her own holiday wishlist, Ellen said the only thing she really wants is for the world to know her wife, Portia de Rossi is not, in fact, taller than she is.
