Exes Pete Davidson, Kate Beckinsale are following each other on Instagram again

Looks like Pete Davidson and Kate Beckinsale are ready to start keeping up with another again after last month's split. Around 3 a.m. on Tuesday, May 21, Pete followed Kate on Instagram and clicked "like" on an Instagram photo of the actress with her parents, according to Page Six. She reportedly followed her 25-year-old ex back on his account. Things were never said to have been strained between the two during the months they were dating, but Kate reportedly had trouble reconciling the very public interest in Pete's personal life and, possibly, Pete's willingness to share details about what he's going through at various times. "Even though Kate has been in Hollywood for a long time, she struggled with the attention on her relationship with Pete," a source told the tab. "He lives his life with his heart on his sleeve." Other outlets suggested issues including distance (he's based in New York City while she's on the West Coast) and the speed at which they got serious were also factors.

Marc Anthony gushes about his daughter Emme's singing abilities

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony's 11-year-old daughter, Emme, clearly has her parents' music genes — and their support when it comes to exercising those skills. After Jennifer shared a video of her little girl killing it while singing Alicia Keys' "If I Ain't Got You" during a visit to her mom's rehearsal earlier this month, Emme's dad opened up to iHeartRadio host Enrique Santos about his kids' love of music. (J.Lo and Marc are also parents to Emme's twin brother, Max.) "Music was a big part of my life growing up and I hope it does the same for [Emme] as it has done for me. And if that is what she wants to do … well, she should do it because she likes it, not because she has to. Not for fame, or popularity, or for likes," he told Enrique on the Monday, May 20, edition of his show (via People). He went on to share that he's asked Emme why she sings. "And she said because she feels good. It's the best response," he recalled, adding that he has another "incredible" video of her singing. Back in 2012, Jennifer sounded similarly comfortable with the idea her kids might pursue music. "Here's what I know about doing what I do — and obviously their dad is the same way. If they're going to do it, there's nothing I can do to stop them — and I'll support them," she told Women's Wear Daily. "But just like my mom, I'm going to make them go to school and I'm going to let them make that decision when they're old enough to make that decision," she cautioned. "I don't want them to be in the business at a young age."

For the second time this year, Travis Scott has vowed to offset his performance in a venue with controversial political implications with support for social programs. In January, amid Super Bowl boycotts over the NFL's refusal to allow players to peacefully protest police brutality during the National Anthem, Travis made his Super Bowl Halftime Show appearance contingent on the NFL matching his $500,000 donation to Dream Corps, Van Jones' "social justice accelerator" organization. Over the weekend, the rapper performed at Hangout Fest in Alabama, where the country's most restrictive abortion ban is now law. As Kylie Jenner told fans on her Instagram Story (via ET): "Travis Scott is donating all his merch profits from Hangout Fest 2019 to Planned Parenthood organizations in support of women in Alabama." Kylie, who shares 1-year-old daughter, Stormi Webster, with Travis, added multiple purple hearts to the post to show she was all for the move. "We feel for those out in Alabama. We love y'all," Travis said from the stage during his show. "I just wanted you to know that love is the strongest feeling we have." The Alabama ban is one of a wave of similar pieces of legislation in multiple states including Georgia and Missouri.

Busy Philipps explains why she wanted to share her story about abortion

Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott are far from the only stars speaking out about the current wave of restrictive abortion legislation hitting states across the country. Busy Philipps, who's spoken out multiple times about having had an abortion at 15, checked with ET this week to explain why she feels strongly the #YouKnowMe movement is so important. "I do think this can be a private decision, obviously, if you want it to be, but I think there's something really valuable getting rid of the shame and the stigma surrounding abortion. It is a medical necessity that many women go through," she said in an interview on Monday, May 20. She also brought up #YouKnowMe on her show, "Busy Tonight." "The statistic is that one in four women will have an abortion before age 45," she told viewers. "That statistic sometimes surprises people, and maybe you're sitting there thinking, 'I don't know a woman who would have an abortion.' Well, you know me." She went on to cite the statistic that shows "Seven out of 10 Americans support access to legal abortions," adding: "They understand this is a decision a woman makes with her doctor and that a woman makes for herself. Politicians don't need to be in our bodies. They just don't."

Ciara is Harvard bound! The singer announced this week she's been accepted to Harvard Business School's Executive Education program in Business of Entertainment, Media and Sports. "I always dreamt of going to college," she captioned a photo of herself on Instagram in a Harvard letter sweater, "… but by God's grace, my music career took me on a path that I'm so thankful for. This week I got accepted into Harvard! Words cannot describe my excitement! Thank you @anitaelberse for a once in a lifetime opportunity to attend @Harvard BEMS. #WhyNotHER." The last hashtag is a reference to the film, TV and digital content production company, Why Not You Productions she and her husband Russell Wilson recently started, according to Page Six. Jada Pinkett Smith continued her no holds barred "Red Table Talk" Facebook Watch show this week with a discussion about pornography — with her mom and daughter, no less. Admitting that she developed a "an unhealthy relationship to porn" while "trying to practice abstinence," she recalled to her multi-generational co-hosts, Adrienne Banfield-Jones and Willow Smith that she believed initially watching porn was "filling … an emptiness." As she later discovered, it was not filling any void — just creating more problems with intimacy for her. "Actually reading, like, some of the effects of pornography, like the idea that it gives you false expectations as far as sexual interactions, I can definitely see that with men," she said, according to ET. "How a woman should always be willing and ready. She should be ready to have sex however he wants, in any position, anywhere, and you should enjoy it no matter what. And it shouldn't just be joy, but it should be exhilaration. In pornography you're never tired. There's never a 'no,' so I can definitely see how that can create an unrealistic expectation." Adrienne, 65, said she's had a diferent experience with pornography and called it "beneficial." "I grew up in a household that just created a lot of shame, which is so interesting because it wasn't like that with [Jada], but it definitely was like that for me .. There's something about it that was freeing," Adrienne said. "I don't really think we know culturally what women like in regards to sex, because women have not been allowed to explore in the same way as men … We're just getting to the point where we're even giving ourselves the opportunity to explore, so we need years of that before we even know." Willow, 18, focused on her frustration with the fact women, unlike men, tend to be deemed "sluts" if they embrace sex as a positive aspect of their lives. "That structure that will label a woman as a slut and a ho when she expresses her sexuality and finds joy in sexual pleasure," Willow pointed out, "… that's the same structure that is upholding this porn industry."

Alice Marie Johnson praises Kim Kardashian and her pursuit of a law degree

Kim Kardashian West is currently pursuing a law degree, having been inspired by the work she's been doing to raise awareness about flaws in the criminal justice system. And Alice Marie Johnson, who is now a free woman thanks in part to Kim's efforts, is happy to know she was "a catalyst" for Kim's decision to study law. "What she's doing is incredible – and she is dead serious about it," said Alice, whose life sentence for a nonviolent drug charge was commuted last year by Donald Trump after he discussed her case with Kim. Speaking to TMZ in a promotional interview for her new memoir, "After Life: My Journey from Incarceration to Freedom," Alice pointed out the "great risk" that was involved for Kim and her "brand" when she got involved in Alice's plight. "Kim said she didn't care, she only wanted to see me free and whatever that took, she was going to do it." As for her law degree? "I'm so proud of her for following her passion," Alice said. "My case has awakened something in Kim that was laying dormant the whole time – I was just a catalyst to wake it up." Kim wrote the forward for Alice's book, which hit shelves Tuesday, May 21.

Millie Bobby Brown reveals she switched schools because she was bullied so badly

When "Stranger Things" star Millie Bobby Brown started working on "Godzilla: King of The Monsters" three years ago, she found she was treated like a second class citizen at work. Granted, she was 12, but as she explains in Glamour UK's new Activism issue, the fact that someone doing a job is a kid shouldn't mean their voice doesn't count. "I am there to be treated as a co-worker and my opinion be treated as such. You know, you are a man, I am a girl but that doesn't matter — our opinions are equally as important as each other," she tells Orlando Bloom, who interviewed her for the cover feature. Millie, now 15, has applied a similar approach to her work for UNICEF, which named her the youngest ever Goodwill Ambassador in 2014. She vowed at the time to fight for children to "have a seat at the table" in situations where they are not being heard. — including kids who face bullying, which she has plenty of experience with. "I was bullied at school back in England. So, it's extremely important for me to speak out against bullying," she told Orlando. I actually switched schools because of it. It created a lot of anxiety and issues that I still deal with today. I have dealt with situations both in real life and online that are soul-breaking and it genuinely hurts reading some of the things people have said." On the other hand, she said that all that negativity she's faced has made her "appreciate the love so much more."

Justin Bieber is launching his own vegan, mental health-focused deodorant

Justin Bieber is slowly returning to work after taking time off to deal with depression and anxiety issues. After releasing a new track with Ed Sheeran this spring, he announced on Tuesday, May 21 — via a shirtless Instagram post — that he's collaborating with the natural deodorant brand, Schmidt's, to launch Here + Now deodorant this fall. Here + Now is vegan, cruelty-free and made entirely with plant-based ingredients, according to People. Justin pitched in on label artwork and fragrance development. Page Six reports the "Here + Now" moniker is a nod to Justin's interest in de-stigmatizing mental health issues. "I Don't Care," Justin and Ed's new track, is also about mental health.
