There were conflicting reports about the status of their relationship, though, with an "Entertainment Tonight" source saying that the age-mismatched duo are "still friendly but are not on romantic terms," while a People magazine source said that the pair are "still dating as of now" but "decided to slow things down a bit" because they "got super-serious very fast." Meanwhile, In Touch reported that the couple "moved too quickly" and broke up when the actress started to "question whether she should date someone more age-appropriate." More than two months after they were first linked, Johnny Depp's new girlfriend has finally been identified as Russian dancer-choreographer Polina Glen, who's reportedly in her mid-20s. According to DailyMail.com, the duo met at a party in Los Angeles in early 2018 and are now living together in the A-list actor's Hollywood mansion. A Polina-friendly source described the pair as "a puppy love couple" and vehemently denied that the dancer is after her beau's money — but also said that her career has benefited from their relationship. "Polina said that they are going to get married and that he wants to go to Russia to meet her parents," said the insider.

After a 14-month engagement, Idris Elba married former beauty queen Sabrina Dhowre at the Ksar Char Bagh hotel in Marrakesh, Morocco, on April 26, British Vogue reported (the mag also shared photos on Instagram). The bride donned two gowns by Vera Wang while the groom wore a black suit by Ozwald Boateng. This is the British actor and DJ's third marriage.
Multiple media outlets reported on April 11 that Ben Affleck and Lindsay Shookus called it quits for the second time following a reconciliation of just a few months. "She has a kid and an ex-husband and a job in New York and Ben has his family and a job in L.A., and while they love and respect each other, they just realized it wasn't going to work," the same insider told several different publications. "They really gave it another solid try."
On April 12, a judge signed off on Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's request to legally end their marriage even though they've yet to officially settle their divorce. (The former couple are still in the process of dividing their assets and ironing out a permanent custody agreement for their kids.) The pair have since made two more major steps toward completely parting ways: Brad filed his financial information, and his ex restored her name to "Angelina Jolie" after going by "Angelina Jolie-Pitt" during their marriage.
On April 11, Wendy Williams filed to divorce her husband of nearly 22 years, Kevin Hunter. Five days later, he released a lengthy statement taking responsibility for his "recent actions" and apologizing to the daytime talk show host and her fans. Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor — who announced in May 2017 that they'd separated after nearly two decades of coupledom — sparked reconciliation rumors when they were seen holding hands while taking in a performance of "Pretty Woman: The Musical" with their kids, daughter Ella and son Quinlin, at the Nederlander Theatre in New York City on April 6. After the curtain call, the family of four headed backstage to pose with two of the Broadway show's stars, Andy Karl and Orfeh.
In the months since they called it quits, there have been increasingly troubling reports about what caused Lady Gaga's relationship with Christian Carino to implode. On April 17, Us Weekly reported that, according to a source, the singer-actress was "devastated at first" by the breakup but that it was necessary because the talent agent "infringed on her creative process" and she "couldn't risk jeopardizing her career in that way, over a man," which is "not something she would stand for." Later, Us Weekly reported that Gaga has been "hounded" by her ex since they split and has "told him not to contact her."
Danny Amendola made headlines on April 19 when he took aim at his ex-girlfriend, Olivia Culpo, on Instagram. In the extremely lengthy caption of an old video of Olivia making pancakes, the football star accused her being fame-hungry and admitted that they fought a lot over the course of their off-and-on relationship of a couple years, though he also acknowledged that the physical component of their relationship was "crazy." Danny also made an apparent dig at Zedd, with whom Olivia was seen dancing during Coachella: "Reading all these wild stories about her and I, and seeing Olivia with other men, I just wanted to personally clear the air out here," he wrote. "We've been on and off for a long time and not together as of late! Not sure what's in the future but the only thing I care about is her HAPPINESS. The following day, Danny implied that the stories about Olivia and Zedd are what set him off: "It's not fun seeing your name attached to a click-bait headline story that is completely fabricated … so when I saw this love triangle gossip I tried to clear the air," he explained in another Instagram post. Olivia, meanwhile, was also seen on an apparent double date with New York Rangers hockey player Aaron Varos in West Hollywood on April 7.
