The MTV Movie & TV Awards can always be counted upon to deliver some funky fashion! Before the big show airs on June 18, we're taking a look at the best and worst looks from the red carpet, starting with Zendaya! Leave it to the stylish star to shut down the red carpet! The beauty rocked this incredible brown halter gown by August Getty, which featured a fabulous, exaggerated bubble skirt. She accessorized with Christian Louboutin heels and some super dramatic earrings. See those and the rest of the best and worst dressed stars of the night next!

Zendaya selected the perfect pair of earrings to compliment her phenomenal August Getty minidress — these massive oval gold Paula Mendoza earrings.
Jacket a little tight, Nick Jonas? In theory Nick's Saint Laurent ensemble was great — a leather jacket, printed dress shirt, black pants and black boots. The only problem? That jacket was just a little too tight, throwing off the entire look for us.
Katherine Langford went for the drama with her MTV Movie & TV Awards ensemble and it definitely worked. The "13 Reasons Why" star opted for this gorgeous strapless velvet dress by Giorgio Armani, which featured a cutout along the neckline, but it was her hair accessory that we loved the most. See it next!
Obsessed! Katherine Langford accessorized her ponytail with a large black tulle bow, which was the perfect choice for that glamorous gown. Her winged eyeliner and pink lip were the perfect selections for this gorgeous getup.
We adore Mandy Moore, but this red carpet look? Not so much! The silver Alberta Ferretti minidress featured silver embellishments on the shoulders and at the hemline, but the dress overall didn't look like a good fit on the gorgeous "This Is Us" star.
Kim Kardashian West rocked an eye-catching Atelier Versace number on the MTV Movie & TV Awards red carpet, comprised of a white mohair halter crop top and a crystal mesh column skirt. The skirt included a daring thigh-high slit, which helped show off her slender strappy heels. Next up, a better look at her hair and makeup!
Kim Kardashian West opted to wear her hair in cornrows for the big event, parted down the middle. She kept her makeup simple, opting for a smokey eye and a nude lip.
Though the rich color of Olivia Munn's velvet frock was phenomenal, we weren't fans of the jumpsuit's odd accoutrements — including a plunging neckline, short sleeves and a tie detail with multicolored fringe. The Galvan jumpsuit was just trying to pull off too much at one time, making it one of our least favorite look of the night.
Yuck! Olivia Munn wore her hair in a loose ponytail, which was fastened with a super creepy clip that looked like a tiny hand.
The belle of the ball! Tiffany Haddish arrived to host the MTV Movie & TV Awards in style, sporting this strapless silver confection by Galia Lahav, complete with a massive white tulle train. She finished off this glam look with a pair of matching silver pointy toe heels, and slicked her hair back in a ponytail to keep the attention on this gorgeous gown.
Not so mellow yellow! Jasmine Sanders arrived in a bright yellow dress which appeared to be a cross between a trench coat and a wrap dress. We weren't huge fans of the look, but rocking those trendy mini sunglasses on the red carpet along with it made this getup a miss.
Kristen Bell sported a funky frock at the MTV Movie & TV Awards! The star donned this Julien Macdonald minidress, which featured intricate netted detailing that had a sheer illusion to it. She added Charlotte Olympia heels and dangling Tiffany & Co. earrings to complete this edgy, youthful MTV-friendly look.
Too much! "Riverdale" state Camila Mendes selected a super busy gown by Elisabetta Franchi for the MTV Movie & TV Awards, which featured lace, a printed sheer overlay and black undergarments showing through underneath. This super mixed-up look instantly landed among the misses.
Adore! We loved Madelaine Petsch's dreamy iridescent Prada dress, which featured thin straps and a full skirt complete with a layer of tulle. We also loved how she went super minimal with her accessories and her beauty look, keeping the attention on that amazing gown. Next up, check out how it moved!
Madelaine Petsch's iridescent dress was fit for a princess, complete with awesome spinning potential! When the star spun around you could see the details of her dress, which featured a pink layer of tulle on top of a shimmering sparkly bottom layer.
Oh, EJ Johnson! The former "Rich Kids of Beverly Hills" star went for the shock factor with his cropped jacket and trouser combo — sans shirt underneath — and gray sparkly boots. Unfortunately, though we love his unorthodox take on fashion, this one's a miss.
Jeans on the red carpet? This would only fly at the MTV Movie & TV Awards! Sadie Sink pulled off this casual yet cool getup flawlessly, adding a graphic tee and a sparkly, sequined blazer to her denim.
We love Francia Raisa on "Grown-ish," but this look is one big miss. The sparkly jumpsuit featured one huge, obnoxious frilly sleeve, which eclipsed the whole outfit. She paired the unfortunate jumpsuit with strappy black heels and a high bun, but nothing could really salvage the look.
One of our top looks of the night? That belongs to Madison Pettis who wore this darling black and white polka dotted two-piece getup, which featured a scalloped lace border and lace on the sleeves. She finished the darling outfit off with a pair of white, pointy toe pumps for the perfect youthful MTV Awards look.
We're pretty tired of the sheer trend, so it needs to be a very special look to be a hit in our book. Alison Brie's Sandy Liang frock did not pass this test. We weren't fans of the completely sheer skirt with a bodysuit underneath, but it was her makeup that ensured she landed on the miss list. See it next!
What is with Alison Brie and the neon eyeshadow? The star rocked the absurd makeup color for the second time on the MTV Movie & TV Awards red carpet, and paired with the comically high ponytail this beauty look fell flat.
A cropped suit jacket and a pleated skirt? Though those two things don't sound like they'd work together, Amandla Stenberg proved otherwise! The young star rocked this red belted suit jacket with a black pleated skirt and lace-up black pointy toe heels for a fresh and funky look.
Casual looks fly on the MTV Movie & TV Awards red carpet, but this is a little too casual! Dylan Minnette's Jurassic Park t-shirt, jeans and sneakers looked more appropriate for a random day out than a big award show.
She's not a regular mom, she's a cool mom! Kris Jenner sported an Off-White ensemble, which featured a chic white suit jacket with an asymmetrical hemline which was paired with a pair of sleek black trousers and black boots.
One of our favorite looks of the night? Storm Reid's darling minidress! We loved the black frock, which featured ruffled detailing along the bottom. The clear heels just added to the cool factor of this youthful ensemble.
The silhouette of Aubrey Plaza's dress? Adorable! The weird gold print? Not so much. Though we loved the shade and the funky gathered sleeves of her Elisabetta Franchi minidress, the haphazard bow print pattern down the front threw us off.
Betty Gilpin took a cue from the guys and sported this tight black pantsuit. She didn't even bother with a shirt underneath, but buttoned up the jacket and paired the sleek look with pointy toe heels.
Lili Reinhart underwhelmed us on the red carpet, rocking this boring black dress. Though the frock, with its spaghetti straps and full sheer skirt was pretty, it was lackluster and failed to stand out amongst the other interesting fashion of the night.
Suit jackets on the ladies were all the rage on the MTV Movie & TV Awards red carpet! Next up in the menswear-inspired fashion? Model Delilah Belle! Lisa Rinna's daughter rocked this suit jacket dress, which featured a tie around the waist, and paired it with pointy toe black boots.
We weren't feeling Michael B. Jordan's Dsquared2 look. Though we liked his bomber jacket and dress shirt combo, those pants seemed a little too dressy by comparison.
The men really brought their A-game to the MTV Movies & TV Awards red carpet! Chadwick Boseman pulled off this dreamy denim look by Off-White, which featured a printed detail overtop. He added an equally busy shirt underneath, but managed to totally pull off the interesting look.
We weren't crazy about Arielle Vandenberg's MTV Movie & TV Awards look. The dark teal dress was a pretty shade, but the haphazard sheer paneling along the sleeves, the neckline and the skirt lost us.
Yara Shahidi was on trend at the MTV Movie & TV Awards donning a funky pale blue pantsuit and joining many other ladies rocking menswear on the red carpet. She sported her version sans undershirt and added nude heels to finish off this crisp, summery look.
Quincy Brown couldn't decide what type of suit to wear — solid or printed — so he wore both! One half of his suit was simple and black, while the other featured a funky print, for a totally unexpected and surprisingly stylish look.
Nope! Liv Pollock's getup looked seconds away from being a wardrobe malfunction. She donned this tiny white strapless crop top with a matching white skirt that seemed to literally be held together by strings.
We love a good colored suit. Make it pink, and we're sold! Romeo Miller looked dashing in this pale pink combo, which he wore with a matching dress shirt, brown belt and tan boots.
Kelsey Asbille arrived looking ready for a day at the beach! Unfortunately, even at the MTV Movie & TV Awards that doesn't fly! The star's odd completely sheer hot pink dress over top darker undergarments was an instant miss.
What a cool kid! "Stranger Things" star Gaten Matarazzo rocked a bronze and black bomber jacket with a black and white t-shirt, light denim jeans and gray sneakers for a laid-back red carpet look.
Looking fresh in Prada, Finn Wolfhard! We loved the "Stranger Things" star's striped pink and dark purple t-shirt paired with matching purple trousers and black loafers.
Oh no! Zazie Beetz donned this unfortunate frock, a brown and baggy long-sleeved dress with a plunging neckline and a pleated skirt. Making things even worse? Those lace-up dress shoes she paired with the frock. This one's definitely a miss.
Farrah Abraham arrived in style to the MTV Movie & TV Awards… and actually didn't end up on the miss list this time! The former "Teen Mom OG" star wore cool sparkly pants with a cropped white blouse and tuxedo jacket on top, resulting in a shimmering menswear-inspired ensemble.
Why? Just… why? Justina Valentine let everything hang out in this completely sheer top (with strategically placed sparkling embellishments), and slinky black skirt. Though this certainly attracted a lot of attention, we're filing this look among the misses.
What a color! We wish all guys thought outside of the box like Steven Silver did on the MTV Movie & TV Awards red carpet. His dreamy orange velvet suit was a fun change of pace, and the black t-shirt and shoes as accents complimented the shade perfectly.
We fell hard for Trevor Jackson's green studded and fringed jacket, but the rest of his look was lackluster. He added a black dress shirt, shiny jeans and dress shoes (sans socks!) to the cool piece, which unfortunately turned this look with a lot of potential into a miss.
Travis Mills knocked it out of the park with this all-black ensemble. The musician donned a black suit and t-shirt, but it was his shoes that we're obsessing over! Those studded dress shoes really elevated this look!
Actor Scott Evans rocked a lot of cool pieces, but when they were all combined on the red carpet the outfit turned out pretty bizarre. From the dark red printed suit jacket to the black t-shirt with shiny black skinny pants to those cool boots with white laces, when combined this outfit turned into a big mess.
Though a lot of people opted for casual looks, some stars still respected the red carpet at the MTV Movie & TV Awards! Take Liza Koshy for example, who wore this stunning black and white gown, which featured a delicate freckled print, a cutout at the waist and a subtle slit up the front. The internet personality rocked her hair in a big bun and finished off the look with a pair of bronze strappy heels for a flawless getup.
We're torn on "Today" contributor Donna Farizan's red carpet look. We loved her long-sleeved white minidress, but we weren't fans of the strange strappy orange shoes she rocked with the frock.
Dapper dude! James Shaw Jr. rocked a gray three-piece suit with a purple checkered pattern, donning a crimson dress shirt and tie underneath. He added plenty of beaded bracelets for some fun accessories, and wild printed socks with his dress shoes.
"Vanderpump Rules" star Scheana Shay sported this ugly silver skintight jumpsuit on the red carpet. We weren't fans of the shiny fabric and the way the pants gathered at the bottom. Next!
We loved Camryn Howard's funky suit jacket! It featured a peacock feather print with black labels. He paired it with a t-shirt, shiny trousers and a pair of black boots for an impossibly cool red carpet look.
Eva Gutowski is certainly ready for summer! The internet personality rocked this cheery yellow two-piece, which featured jeweled embellishments along both the tiny strapless crop top and the miniskirt. Though this wouldn't fly on very many red carpets, on the MTV Movie & TV Award carpet this one's a hit! Next up, a closer look at her accessories and beauty look.
Eva Gutowski rocked funky hoop earrings and layered choker necklaces, one sparking and one gold. For eyeshadow she went extra funky, rocking magenta and silver shades.
Trash bag couture? E! host Sibley Scoles opted for this long and baggy sleeved, ill-fitting wrap dress, which featured a slit on the left side. Though we weren't fans of the dress, we did like her lace up heels!
Terri Seymour rocked this multicolored, funky minidress at the MTV & TV awards. We liked how the geometric pattern extended all the way to the sleeves, and the way she paired it with those thin strapped black heels.
Actor Raymond Braun had the right idea on the MTV Movie & TV Award red carpet — all black is always a sure bet! He rocked a black t-shirt, black skinny jeans and a shiny jacket.
Vanessa Morgan certainly dressed for the occasion, in a ruby red sparkly frock that nearly matched the red carpet! It's plunging neckline and sky-high slit added a dramatic factor, but we weren't obsessed with the accessories she added. The strappy gold heels and those dangly red earrings ruined the overall look.
Josh Levi made a statement on the red carpet. We were immediately obsessed with his statement leather jacket, which featured gold stripes and detailing along the shoulders. His white t-shirt, black pants with embellishments and black boots completed this look perfectly.
