Custody drama
Angelina Jolie could lose primary custody if Brad Pitt continues to be denied access to their kids. In June, multiple media outlets obtained public court documents that reveal that a judge has ordered the actress to help repair her children's relationship with her ex. Legal papers state that Brangelina's six children "not having a relationship with their father is harmful to them" and explain that "it is critical that each of them have a healthy and strong relationship with their father and mother." The court even set up a detailed visitation schedule for Brad and insisted that he be allowed to call them on their cell phones without interference from her. Further, the court issued a stern warning to Angelina: "If the minor children remain closed down to their father and depending on the circumstances surrounding this condition, it may result in a reduction of the time they spend with [Jolie] and may result in the Court ordering primary physical custody to [Pitt]." Angie's team had a blistering response to the custody drama after multiple outlets accessed the court docs. "It's deplorable that someone, for their own selfish reasons, leaked selective portions of the confidential and sealed court record to create an inaccurate and unfair picture of what is really happening. This misleading leak is not in the best interests of the children," read the June 13 statement from her camp. "From the start, Angelina has been focused only on their health and needs, which is why it was so important that this last court hearing be conducted privately."

Suicide
Famed chef, TV host and author Anthony Bourdain killed himself at age 61 on June 8. When he failed to show up at breakfast, acclaimed chef Eric Ripert — a close friend who was filming "Parts Unknown" with the CNN star at the time of his suicide — discovered that Anthony, who leaves behind an 11-year-old daughter, had hung himself in his room at their hotel in France. Hollywood was shocked by his death. "Anthony. One of my idols. Unapologetic, passionate and one of the best storytellers on the planet," Chrissy Teigen tweeted. "Thank you for making food so exciting. And always standing up for everything right. Horrible. Why why why. Be at peace now." Mandy Moore called it "utterly heartbreaking." Rose McGowan, who was particularly close with Anthony and his grieving girlfriend, Asia Argento, broke down in a video. "Anthony I am so mad at you," she tweeted alongside the clip. "You were so loved, the world is not better without you." Josh Gad said, "This one really hurts."

TMZ reported that a hotel security guard asked the "Teen Mom" alum to leave the hotel after she got into a verbal spat with some guests. The guard said Farrah hit him in the face with her forearm, grabbed his ear and pushed his head as he tried preventing her from re-entering the hotel. Multiple media outlets reported that Farrah appeared to be intoxicated. After the arrest, Farrah denied any wrongdoing and claimed she was "targeted" because she's a celebrity.

On June 5, reports indicated that the "Hunger Games" star had recently started seeing Cooke Maroney, the director at New York City's Gladstone Gallery. The two were reportedly introduced by J.Law's BFF, Laura Simpson. After the cat was out of the bag, they were seen walking arm-in-arm around Manhattan multiple times throughout the month.
Shot and killed
Rapper XXXTentacion died at age 20 on June 18 after being shot and robbed. The controversial up-and-coming music star (real name: Jahseh Onfroy) was leaving a motorsports dealership in South Florida when a gunman approached his car. "Witnesses say they heard multiple shots fired," TMZ reported. Police said XXXTentacion was ambushed in his vehicle, where a quick struggle went down. Two suspects then reportedly took his bag and fled. On June 21, police announced that Dedrick D. Williams had been arrested for the crime the previous evening. He's been charged with first-degree murder. That same day, the rapper's mom hinted that he was about to become a father when he died.

R.I.P.
Legendary fashion designer Kate Spade was found dead in her New York City apartment on June 5. She'd hung herself. The 55-year-old designer, who was the sister-in-law of comedian David Spade and aunt of actress Rachel Brosnahan, leaves behind a husband, Andy Spade, and their 13-year-old daughter, Bea. News of her suicide rocked Hollywood, as many big stars were fans of Kate's work. "I am heartbroken about the news of Kate Spade. I have worn her clothes many, many times," Mindy Kaling tweeted. "They were colorful, bold, cheerful, and encouraged women to find the twinkly person inside them. You couldn't walk into her boutiques and not smile. Rest In Peace, Kate." Reese Witherspoon said, "My heart and prayers go out to Kate Spade and her family. What a wonderful, talented woman who will be dearly missed." One of the most heart-wrenching tributes came from David. Several hours after her death was reported, the comedian shared an unfocused picture of himself with Kate on social media. "Fuzzy picture but i love it. Kate and I during Christmas family photos," he captioned it. "We had so much fun that day. She was so sharp and quick on her feet. She could make me laugh so hard. I still cant believe it. Its a rough world out there people, try to hang on."
DUI arrest
Vince Vaughn was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence on June 10. He was also booked into jail on charges of obstructing an officer. Family feud
Tommy Lee and his 22-year-old son with ex-wife Pamela Anderson, Brandon, have been airing each other's dirty laundry for a few months now following a physical altercation in March, but things really got ugly on June 18 when the Motley Crue rocker claimed he spent $130,000 for Brandon to go to rehab. Up until then, the public didn't know about Brandon's substance-abuse issues. Brandon, however, acknowledged that what Tommy claimed was true — then he took a shot at his dad, insinuating that the drummer needs to go to rehab. "Every day that goes by I feel ever more grateful," Brandon said. "My clear mind has allowed me to do a lot with this time. So much so that I would like to offer to pay for his treatment." But the rehab debacle was just part of the ongoing drama between these two. Tommy blasted his kids — Brandon and Dylan — for not calling him on Father's Day, even calling them "a–holes." Brandon then hit back at Tommy, implying that he's a deadbeat dad. He even shared an image of Tommy seemingly unconscious in a T-shirt and underwear lying on the floor, captioning it, "Look a little sleepy there Tommy." The photo appeared to have been taken after Brandon hit his dad in March (Tommy said his son attacked him, Brandon said he clocked him in self-defense). Despite all this, Tommy still plans to invite Brandon to his wedding next year, although he doesn't think his son will actually attend.
Bad "The Bachelorette" casting
A contestant on the current season of "The Bachelorette" was convicted of a sex crime just days before the show premiered on ABC in May, spoiler blogger Reality Steve revealed in mid-June. On May 21, Lincoln Adim was convicted of indecent assault and battery related to an incident that occurred in 2016. Lincoln — who was still in contention on the show starring Becca Kufrin when the news surfaced — was accused of groping and assaulting a woman on a cruise that year. Lincoln was sentenced to a year behind bars, but the jail term was suspended for a two-year probationary period. He was also ordered to stay away from the victim and attend three Alcoholics Anonymous meetings per week during that time. He is also expected to register as a sex offender. A rep for the production company behind the hit series has said execs are investigating how Lincoln passed a background check.
