Wonderwall.com rounded up some recent stories about shocking celeb extravagances that prove stars are nothing like us, starting with this one about one of Hollywood's hottest power couples: We didn't think we could be more shocked than when we heard that Kim Kardashian West and hubby Kanye West were fielding multiple multi-million-dollar offers for the first photo of their new baby girl, Chicago West, whom they welcomed via surrogate on Jan. 15, 2018. (According to TMZ, several media outlets offered between $2 and $5 million for a single pic.) But then we heard that the power couple actually declined every offer sent their way: "The offers were never entertained," reported TMZ. "They were immediately rejected." Added the website, "Kim and Kanye would never consider taking money for the first photos of the baby … doing so would violate their morals." What do you get the tiny human who has everything before she's even left her mother's womb? Just ask Kris Jenner! The matriarch of the Kardashian-Jenner clan reportedly dropped $10K at a baby boutique in West Hollywood in December 2017, a month before Kim Kardashian West and husband Kanye West welcomed their third child, daughter Chicago, via surrogate on Jan. 15, 2018. According to TMZ, the reality TV star picked up a handcrafted wooden crib worth at least $6K, a $3K stroller for kids (so that North West can walk her baby sister) and several more custom-made items. Kris also reportedly snagged several custom baby outfits — each worth a few hundred dollars — for the rest of her grandchildren. Chicago is one spoiled 2 week old!

According to the New York Post, Brad Pitt was ready to drop $120K during a charity auction on the opportunity to watch an episode of "Game of Thrones" with Emilia Clarke. Bidding for the private viewing party with the blonde beauty, who stars as Daenerys Targaryen on the hit HBO series, started at $20K during the $15K-a-seat benefit gala for Sean Penn's Haiti disaster recovery charity in Los Angeles on Jan. 6, 2018. Brad initially offered $80K during the auction before upping his bid to $90K. Emilia's "GoT" co-star Kit Harrington reportedly upped the bid again, prompting Brad to raise his bid to $120K. Ultimately, both stars lost to another attendee, who threw down $160K in the final bid. Moral of the story? You can Netflix and chill without breaking the bank, but if you wanna HBO Go and chill with a celebrity, it's gonna cost a pretty penny.

The third time will be the charm when Paris Hilton and Chris Zylka tie the knot. The former reality TV star told "Extra" in early January 2018 that she hopes to have three wedding ceremonies to make it official with the actor. "For my 21st birthday I had five parties, so maybe for the wedding I'll have a European one, an American one [and] one for everyone around the world," said Paris. We wouldn't expect anything less from the loaded international superstar, whose engagement ring reportedly cost a cool $2 million. Speaking of which…

Paris Hilton reportedly hired 24-hour security to protect the $2M engagement ring (pictured) with which her fiance, Chris Zylka, proposed in the days leading up to New Year's Eve in late 2017. TMZ reported on Jan. 2, 2018, that the security detail is never far from the bling, though they wear street clothes to avoid being detected by potential thieves. Back in 2013, The Hollywood Reporter reported that a bodyguard can cost between $500 and $1,000 a day, so if Paris hired only one security officer to watch over the ring, she's looking at a minimum of $182.5K a year. Yikes.

It pays to be Team Miley! Janice Freeman — who competed on Season 13 of "The Voice" in late 2017 as part of Miley Cyrus's team — revealed on Twitter on Jan. 1, 2018, that the superstar paid her family's rent for six months while the aspiring singer was struggling financially. "[Miley] found us placement until we found permanent housing, gave me the deposit, covered me for 6 months so I can get on my feet!" tweeted Janice. In October 2016, a source dished to Us Weekly on Miley's dedication to the singers she mentors on "The Voice." "She's the show's most devoted coach ever," said the insider. "She has a hand in choosing the hair, makeup and wardrobe for her team, and she goes to all the dress rehearsals when she's not even paid to be there. Nobody else does that!" Added the source, "She cries when she has to eliminate people … She's even close to the contestants' family members now." No kidding!

Taylor Swift went one step further than Miley Cyrus: The "Shake It Off" singer actually bought a new house for a homeless superfan while she was pregnant. The diehard Swiftie, whose name is Stephanie, took to Taylor's app, The Swift Life, in late 2017 to explain how the popstar changed her life: "I've been contemplating posting this story for a while. I've finally decided to tell you all what Taylor did for me. What many of you don't know is that for 8 months of my pregnancy I was homeless," wrote Stephanie, who's come into contact with Taylor many times over the years. "Long story short our first flat was condemned for health and safety reasons and we lost everything. To add to the stress, during this time [my boyfriend] Matthew lost his job." Stephanie's mother contacted Taylor to let her know what happened, she said: "My mum told Taylor and just asked her to make me feel special at her show I was attending in Manchester. After the show Taylor took us back to her dressing room where she told me, 'Stephanie, You've been in my life for a long time and you've never asked me for anything. You could have reached out and I would have helped you. But you didn't. Your mum told me…' [Taylor] told me she wanted to give me the money back for my ticket that night. What she actually did was help us buy a home and all I needed for my baby. She told me 'I want you to be able to enjoy your little girl, not have to worry about all this stuff.'"

George Clooney sure knows how to repay a favor! His friend and former business partner, Rande Gerber, revealed on a late 2017 episode of MSNBC's "Headliners" that the A-list actor once gifted more than $1M to each of 14 friends. According to Cindy Crawford's husband, George invited his "boys" over for dinner in 2013 and gave each of them a suitcase filled with $1M in $20 bills as a thank you for helping him out back when times were tough: "George begins to say, 'Listen, I want you guys to know how much you've meant to me and how much you mean to me in my life. I came to L.A., I slept on your couch. I'm so fortunate in my life to have all of you and I couldn't be where I am today without all of you,'" recalled Rande. "Every one of us — 14 of us — got a million dollars. Every single one of us. We're in shock. Like, what is this?
