Alessandra Ambrosio
Alessandra Ambrósio is yet another member of the Brazilian model army who rose to fame in the late '90s. She enrolled in modeling class at 12 after she got cosmetic surgery to pin the large ears she was insecure about back. (She suffered complications years later and has said it discouraged from ever getting plastic work done again.) Like countrywoman Adriana Lima, she signed with Elite, is best known for her work as an Angel for Victoria's Secret and consistently makes Forbes highest-earning models list. (She last clocked in at No. 6.) She was the first spokesmodel for the company's "PINK" line when it launched in 1999. She's graced more than 70 magazine covers from Vogue and Elle to Harper's Bazaar, Cosmopolitan and Glamour and has appeared in ads and on runways for brands like Armani, Revlon, Dolce and Gabbana, Escada, Calvin Klein Prada and Louis Vuitton. She's appeared in several TV shows including "Entourage," "Project Runway" and "Gossip Girl." This ambassador for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society is mother to daughter Anja (b. 2008) and son Noah (b. 2012) with her fiancé businessman Jamie Mazur.
