Alessandra Ambrósio is yet another member of the Brazilian model army who rose to fame in the late '90s. She enrolled in modeling class at 12 after she got cosmetic surgery to pin the large ears she was insecure about back. (She suffered complications years later and has said it discouraged from ever getting plastic work done again.) Like countrywoman Adriana Lima, she signed with Elite, is best known for her work as an Angel for Victoria's Secret and consistently makes Forbes highest-earning models list.
