Alicia Silverstone
After a childhood of commercials and modeling, Alicia Silverstone ruled the '90s as a cute-sexy blonde with a squeaky voice, crooked smile and goofy sense of humor. After making her film debut in 1993's "The Crush" (for which she earned two MTV Movie Awards) and doing several TV movies, she starred in three iconic Aerosmith videos — "Cryin'," "Amazing" and "Crazy — which convinced director Amy Heckerling to cast her in her most notable role as Cher in sleeper hit "Clueless." That led more MTV Awards, a multi-million dollar first-look deal for her production company First Kiss with Columbia-Tri Star, a chance to play Batgirl in the George Clooney Batman installment and the honor of singing and dancing in Kenneth Branagh's adaptation of "Love's Labour's Lost." She made her Broadway debut in 2002 in a "Graduate" revival and has since earned kudos for treading the boards in "Time Stands Still" and "The Performers." Unlike her unlucky-in-love character from her short-lived 2003 NBC series "Miss Match," she married musician Christopher Jarecki in 2005 after eight years of dating and gave birth to son Bear Blue in May 2011. A longtime animal-rights activist and vegan, she's made plenty of headlines for her hippie ways like when she posed nude for PETA ads, wrote a vegan nutrition guide called "The Kind Diet," uploaded an internet video showcasing her avian baby-feeding techniques and launched the Kind Mama Milk share breast milk exchange program.
