Super-man
Justin Timberlake has the time… halftime. The singer confirmed recent rumors that he will be performing during the Super Bowl LII halftime show in February. It will be the first time he's performed at the big game since 2004, when he exposed Janet Jackson's breast on live TV. Both Justin and Pepsi, the sponsor of the halftime show, tweeted the news on Oct. 22. Several people took to Twitter afterward to voice their displeasure that Justin has been forgiven by the NFL, but perhaps Janet hasn't. The hashtag #JusticeForJanet began trending after JT's announcement, with most people saying Justin still owes Janet an apology. There have been rumors for years that the NFL has "banned" Janet, but several reports said that's not true. Many are hoping Justin will bring Janet out on the halftime stage in February.

Controversial tweet
Ellen DeGeneres felt the wrath of social media this week after she sent out a birthday tweet to Katy Perry that many thought was sexist. "Happy birthday, @KatyPerry! It's time to bring out the big balloons!" the daytime host captioned a photo of her with her wife, Portia de Rossi, and Katy. In the image, Ellen is staring at Katy's breasts. While most agreed that the message was in jest, many saw a double standard. "If a man made this joke, Ellen would lead the cries of 'SEXIST PIG!'" Piers Morgan said. Others stated similar things and some began calling her "Ellen Weinstein," a reference to the Harvey Weinstein sexual misconduct scandal that has shaken Hollywood to its core in recent weeks.
Money, money, money
Love 'em or hate 'em, the Kardashians are kashing in! According to reports this week, the E! network inked the family to a $150 million deal to do their reality show for five more seasons. That equals $30 million per season. The deal will take the family into 2019. TMZ reported that Kris Jenner is pocketing $15 million in manager's fees too. The family will decide how to divvy up the money, but it seems as though Rob Kardashian and Kendall Jenner will get the least, as they have the least amount of screen time.

Spying?
Tyrese Gibson's ex claims he's been spying on her and her friends for years. Norma Gibson testified in court this week and claimed that Tyrese has been harassing her since 2014. Norma has asked the court to grant her a permanent restraining order against the singer-actor to keep him away from her and their 10-year-old daughter, Shayla. In court, she claimed that he punched her while she was pregnant, and she's previously alleged that he abused their daughter. He has adamantly denied the abuse claims and said that this is a case of sour grapes and that his ex is only upset because he's remarried. Also interesting? Tyrese reportedly hired a plane to fly a banner over his daughter's elementary school. The banner read: "NO MATTER WHAT, DADDY LOVES YOU SHAYLA." As if that wasn't enough, on Oct. 26, after leaving court, Tyrese checked himself into a hospital for chest pains. He given fluids to treat dehydration, and was released from the hospital later that night.
Nasty Fall
Simon Cowell had to be rushed to hospital on Oct. 27 after suffering a nasty fall down the stairs of his London home. According to TMZ, Simon went downstairs in the middle of the night to get a drink of milk. As he was walking back up the stairs, he felt dizzy and fell backward, tumbling down a flight of stairs. An ambulance was called. Simon was put in a neck brace and on a stretcher.
Breast cancer battle
Model Jill Goodacre has revealed her secret battle with breast cancer. Harry Connick Jr.'s wife said she went in for a routing mammogram in October 2012. "They said, 'Okay, looks good. Since you have dense breasts, just go across the hall for your sonogram,'" she recalled of that meeting, telling People magazine. However, something was found during the sonogram. Turns out, she had Stage 1 invasive ductal carcinoma and would need to immediately undergo a lumpectomy, a second surgery and radiation. She didn't have to undergo chemotherapy. After the treatment, she had to take a medication, Tamoxifen, that made the former Victoria's Secret model gain weight. "I've always been a pretty fit person, and so to be just rounder and heavier and not to really be able to do much about it — that's been hard," she said. "It's taken a lot out of my self-confidence." Why she is she only now revealing the news publicly? "It wasn't like we were superstitious, like if we said something about being in the clear we'd somehow jinx it," she said. "But we wanted to be well on the other side of things before we told everybody. The doctors all say that after the five-year mark, things look optimistic, so we're starting to feel pretty good."
Twins
Jaime Pressly announced on Oct. 23 that she and her longtime boyfriend, Hamzi Hijazi, have welcomed twins. "They're here!
