Pamela Anderson hits back at ex Jon Peters' claims about why she married him
Pamela Anderson is lashing out at ex Jon Peters following comments he made — then later denied making. According to Page Six, the "A Star is Born" producer told the outlet on Feb. 10 that he was "an old fool" for paying "almost $200,000 in bills" for the "Baywatch" beauty in January before they split via text just days after exchanging marriage vows. "I don't need anyone to pay my bills," Pam told the Victoria News on Feb. 20. "I own a $10 million house in Malibu Colony that has been rented for almost two years now and for the next three to five years for $40,000 month. That more than covers all my bills and expenses. I have contracts and other work. I put that money into my Ladysmith project." (Pamela is upgrading a waterfront property in her hometown of Ladysmith, Canada.) Pamela added, "I believe it's best to put my money in property. [Jon] doesn't agree. I would politely listen and say I'd think about it. He still looked at me, like, that naive little girl sitting at the bar. 'Teeth and a halo,' he tells people." Pamela and Jon previously dated 30 years before their ill-fated reunion last month. Pam further told the newspaper that after their brief marriage, Jon wrote her a check for $100,000 and said, "no hard feelings." Jon told the Ladysmith Chemainus Chronicle in a story published on Feb. 20, "I haven't spoken to the press — nobody. I've loved this kid since she was 20 years old. I still love her. We're friends. We'll always be friends. I helped her in a way that she needed, but it's between her and I. I think she's great, and that's all I got to say."

Elijah Hewson, son of U2's Bono, rocks London stage with his own band, Inhaler
U2 frontman Bono's son Elijah Hewson — the third of the Irish rock star's four children with wife Ali Hewson — made headlines when he hit the stage at London venue Heaven on Feb. 20 for a concert with his band, Inhaler — which they described on their website as "their biggest headline show to date." Elijah, 19, who goes by Eli, sings and plays rhythm guitar in the four-piece Dublin-based group, which also includes Josh Jenkinson on lead guitar, Robert Keating on bass and Ryan McMahon on drums, MailOnline reports. Inhaler, which counts The Stone Roses, Joy Division, The Strokes, Depeche Mode, Interpol, Kings of Leon and The Cure among its influences, formed around 2016 when the guys were all in school. "I'm just trying to write about the joy of being alive, being a teenager, and the bad things that can come with that. I don't like it to be all happy, I don't like it to be all sad," frontman Elijah explains on their website. The band recently toured in America, the U.K. and Europe and has more shows set for 2020 including a slot opening for Kasabian. As for Bono's influence? "My dad's good when I want to see if a song is s— or not — he will tell me straight away," Eli told Extra.ie in 2018. Rob added that Eli's dad has kept things real for the guys: "His old man does help us a bit but he will definitely point out the hardships that we might have to go through more than the positive things," Rob said.

Eddie Murphy and ex Nicole both support daughter Bria at her art exhibition opening
It was a family affair for artist Bria Murphy on Feb. 20 as her famous parents — comedy star Eddie Murphy and his ex-wife, former model Nicole Murphy — as well as Eddie's fiancée, model Paige Butcher, came out to celebrate her talent at the Art For All Exhibition Opening at the ARTUS Gallery in Los Angeles. Bria, 30, is the eldest of Eddie and Nicole's five children. (Eddie also has five other kids including two with Paige.) Last year, Bria spoke about stepping out from her parents' shadows, explaining in an interview with Spectrum News 1, "Working in art is definitely way for me to make my own independence." For years, Bria, who used to model, tried to break through as an actress, but "I just got so frustrated going on auditions and everything, because people thought they were gonna get a female version of Eddie Murphy. And I love and respect my dad, but like most people, I can't do what he does," she said. Instead, she pursued what she knew she was good at: painting. Celebrity pals including Jaden Smith, Raven-Symoné and Beyonce's mother, Tina Knowles, also attended the art show, which also featured works by Bria's childhood friends Jade Johnson and Kyle D. On Feb. 14, Amanda Bynes revealed via social media that she was engaged to "tha love of my life." She's since shared photos of her ring and her fiancé, who's been identified as Paul Michael. Some reports claim the pair met in rehab, others say it was in a halfway house. TMZ reports that they met in Alcoholics Anonymous. Reports further indicate that the couple have only been dating for a few months. While Amanda's engagement is real, her diamond ring is not. As TMZ writes, "Our sources say Paul bought it off Amazon for $49, and Amanda is telling those around her the ring is NOT a real diamond and she's fine with a fake." Those sources also tell TMZ that a wedding — at least a legal one — won't be happening as the troubled former child star remains under a conservatorship that's overseen by her mother and she can't marry without her mother's consent, which won't be forthcoming as her family doesn't think it's in her best interests to wed, TMZ adds. Also, according to TMZ, her family hasn't even met Paul yet.

Hours after Ben Affleck publicly praised his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, on Feb. 20 — he told journalist Diane Sawyer, referencing Jen, "What I want to say publicly and privately is, 'Thank you. Thank you for being thoughtful, considerate, responsible and a great mom and person'" — the actress revealed yet another reason she's one of the best moms in Hollywood: Jen took to Instagram to help her kids shill Girl Scout cookies. "Hi, it's Girl Scout cookie time. If you are missing your local Girl Scout or their cookies, just let us know … and we will send them out until we run out. Supplies are limited happy Girl Scout cookie time!" Jen said in a video in which she's seen struggling to hold a growing stack of Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs and more. Jen captioned the clip, "We understand the primal need for Girl Scout cookies. 🍪♥️ Apparently there are some crazy corners of the country where @girlscouts are NOT set up in front of every grocery store — and we are here to help. How Rihanna celebrated her 32nd birthday
Rihanna marked her latest birthday with a party-fueled trip to Mexico. The music star and FENTY fashion house mogul, whose birthday was on Feb. 20, "invited her friends and family down to celebrate turning 32 with her," a source told E! News. "They had a dinner party [the night before her birthday] with dinner and dancing. Everyone was welcomed to the party with a line of mariachis performing and tequila shots passed around." Loved ones ate dinner at a long outdoor table set up for dinner as mariachis continued to perform, the source added, and after the meal, they had a "big dance party" according to the source. "They partied all night long with music, drinks, a birthday cake and cupcakes for Rihanna. She was in her element with the people she loves and having a great time." RiRi "danced and sang all night" with a "big smile on her face," the source added. A Turkish Rihanna fan account posted a series of videos taken inside the bash on Instagram in which the birthday girl can be seen blowing out the candles on a colorfully decorated tiered cake during the celebrations.

During an appearance on the "Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts" segment of "The Late Late Show With James Corden" that aired on Feb. 20, Justin Bieber was faced with some tough choices: Answer a few questions or eat disgusting food. He did both. When James asked him, "Which country has the worst fans?" rather than answer it, Justin drank a spicy chili pepper and shrimp smoothie, which he chased with some milk. But when faced with eating bull penis or truthfully answering another query — "Rank [wife Hailey's model friends] from your favorite to your least favorite: Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner and Cara Delevingne" — the pop star chose to answer. "All right — Kendall, Gigi, Cara Delevingne," he said, which made the crowd roar. "Here's the thing," he explained. "I know Kendall the best — I've spent the most time with Kendall. She's a good friend of ours. I haven't spent a lot of time with Gigi, and I haven't spent a lot of time with Cara… I have nothing against those people, it's just, I have a better relationships… it's not, 'Screw Cara, screw…'" Also, he admitted, "I don't want to eat a bull's penis." Cara took to Instagram the next day to weigh in. She posted a clip of Justin on "Late Late Show" plus a photo of him looking at her backside as she walked down the Victoria's Secret runway years ago. "Now vs. Then," she wrote next to the slideshow. "If you have nothing against me, then why don't you unblock me? Love you @haileybieber – he should have just eaten the bull penis." Corey Feldman detained at NYC airport for packing stun gun in carry-on
Former child star Corey Feldman was detained by authorities after he tried to go through a security checkpoint at New York City's LaGuardia Airport with a stun gun in his carry-on luggage on Feb. 20, TMZ reported. TMZ was told by sources close to Corey that the "Goonies" actor always travels with a stun gun and has taken one to England and Canada before without issue. But while he usually packs it in his checked luggage, he forgot this time and didn't realize it was in his carry-on bag until it was too late. Though he wasn't arrested, the incident was still pretty bad for Corey, who ended up missing his flight after he was detained. He also, TMZ reported, had to buy a new piece of luggage so he could pack and check the stun gun for his trip home.

John Oates is one half of one of the most beloved duos of the '70s and '80s, Hall & Oates. He and Daryl Hall are also the bestselling music duo of all time thanks to the success of their hits including "Private Eyes," "I Can't Go for That (No Can Do)," "Maneater," "You Make My Dreams," "Kiss On My List," "Rich Girl" and so many more. The mustachioed music star has also been wildly successful when it comes to women, he's just admitted in a new interview with Page Six (he's promoting the vinyl release of Hall & Oates' 2004 album, "Our Kind of Soul," and their Feb. 28 Madison Square Garden concert). When asked how many women he slept with in the '70s, the now-71-year-old guitarist and singer responded, "I'm sure it was thousands, I've lost track." According to John, whose interview with the New York Post's gossip column came out on Feb. 21, "If you didn't live through the '70s and '80s, if you weren't a rock star during that time, there's no way you can comprehend what it was like. There were no cell phones and people taking pictures of everything you did. There was no social media. It was much more innocent. I used to meet girls in various towns and sort of have a relationship. I might see them and then see them six months later." In his chat with Page Six, John also talked about his and Daryl's decision not to do drugs during their careers as well as a period of financial mismanagement. He even quipped that he's "the patron saint of facial hair" for the millennial generation.

Ben Affleck is opening up like never before. On Feb. 21, "Good Morning America" aired part 2 of a deeply personal interview the actor did with Diane Sawyer as he promotes his new film, "The Way Back" (out March 6). After initially speaking frankly about his alcoholism, the pain it's caused his family and how his divorce from Jennifer Garner is the "biggest regret" of his life, Ben had even more to say in the second half of their talk. Despite reports that he's on the super-exclusive dating app Raya, Ben insisted (as reported by ETOnline), "I am on no dating [apps]. No Tinder. Grindr. Bumble. Humble. I am not on any of them." He would, however, "love to have a relationship that is deeply meaningful and one to which I could be deeply committed," he said. Ben admitted he wishes he could go back and fix his marriage: "I have regrets. I have made plenty of mistakes, some big some small. I wish I could go back in time and change all kinds of things but I can't." He revealed that he's been on antidepressants for two decades and, like others, struggles with the side effects. "I get depressed. I take antidepressants. They are very helpful for me. I've taken them since I was 26 years old various different kinds and I switch and try this or that," he said. "Often times they won't tell you about some awful side effects and you come back and say, 'Why am I 60 pounds heavier?' And they are like, 'Oh, you gained a little weight.'" He spoke about joining his kids at church on Sundays, explaining that he "was not raised religious" and that he does not consider himself "a very good Christian." However, "I go to church with my kids because it was important to Jennifer and now I go too and I like it." Ben also shared where he sees himself in five years: "Five years from now Ben Affleck is sober and happy and sees his kids three-and-a-half days a week and has made three or four movies that are interesting to him," he told Diane. "I directed two [movies] that he is hopefully proud of and is in a healthy, stable, loving, committed relationship."
