It's almost time for the CMA Awards! The annual event takes place on Nov. 14, 2018, this year, and we can't wait to see our favorite country crooners hit the red carpet. In honor of one of the biggest nights in country music, Wonderwall.com is flashing back a full decade to check out what the red carpet looked like back in 2008. A familiar face from the '08 CMAs? Carrie Underwood, who looked like a cheery dream in this bright yellow halter-style gown. The dress featured a plunging neckline, a metallic beaded belt detail and a glamorous train that trailed her down the red carpet. Keep reading to see who else was in attendance 10 years ago…

It was silver sparkles for Taylor Swift at the 2008 CMAs. The then-country singer donned a sequined gown by KaufmanFranco on country music's big night just two years after she released her debut album.

Jake Owen has come a long way in the fashion department! Back in '08 at the CMAs, he donned a dark suit (that he strangely only buttoned at the top) and a white dress shirt with a silver tie. His shoe of choice? Boots, of course!
A pregnant Kimberly Williams Paisley was on hand to support hubby Brad Paisley at the 2008 CMAs. She donned a chocolate brown halter dress and carried around a gold clutch while posing with the other hand on her baby bump. Son Jasper Warren Paisley made his way into the world in April the following year.
Shania Twain went with a super-simple strapless little black dress at the 2008 CMAs. The country legend also added playful black heeled sandals by Giuseppe Zanotti for the occasion.

Kellie Pickler stunned in a light gray off-the-shoulder beaded gown by Zuhair Murad at the 2008 Country Music Association Awards. The slinky frock featured delicate, dainty fringe on the sleeves.
Billy Ray Cyrus layered up for the 2008 CMAs rocking a coat, scarf and gloves over his all-black ensemble. He also donned a sparkly cowboy hat while posing with daughter Miley Cyrus' then-boyfriend, Justin Gaston.
