Inside Meghan Markle's pre-wedding workout, beauty prep
With her wedding just a few months away, Meghan Markle has been busy preparing to tie the knot with Prince Harry. It's been rumored she plans to break to break royal tradition and give a speech on the big day, with some sources reporting Harry is all for the idea. Of course, like any bride-to-be, she's also likely thinking about looking her best that day — especially with so many eyes around the world expected to tune in for the wedding. Us Weekly reports the avowed exercise lover recently got into Megaformer Pilates, calling it "hands down the best thing you could do for your body" and noting that "your body changes immediately" when you isolate muscle groups and exhaust them the way Megaformer requires. Meghan has said she loves working out "as much for my head as for my body," but has also admitted there are times when she wants to quit. Luckily, she has a little tip she uses to give herself a boost during those times — courtesy of Debbie Allen. "There was an old episode of 'The Cosby Show' where Clair Huxtable was trying to lose weight to fit into a dress," Meghan once told Us. "Debbie Allen is her trainer, and she literally says, 'You've got to burn it to earn it. You've got to sweat it to get it!' It's the cheesiest thing in the world I know, but if I'm on the treadmill thinking I don't want to be there, I just go, 'Think of Clair Huxtable — you've got to burn it to earn it!'" As for Meghan's beauty regimen, the former "Suits" star has long spoken out about how she loves her freckles and has no interest in covering them up. Instead, she focuses on the glow she gets from Biotulin, a moisturizer Duchess Kate reportedly uses, as well as products by Lara Mercier Jan Marini, Origins and Kate Somerville. Meghan and Harry are set to wed on May 19 at St. George's Chapel.

Chrissy Teigen bows to Beyonce, proves she is all of us
It's true. Beyonce emits an aura. At least that was Chrissy Teigen's take after the Grammy Awards last weekend, when she met Queen Bey — and treated her quite literally like royalty. "There's nobody like seeing Beyonce in person. It's just so incredible. The aura that comes around her. I mean, she just emits this aura that's spectacular," Chrissy gushed to Jimmy Fallon on the "Tonight Show" this week (via ET). The expectant model and cookbook author was so floored by Bey's mere presence, in act, that she felt compelled to express it to Beyonce directly. "On our way out, I was like, 'We have to say something, right?'" Chrissy said. "And I took both her hands — I don't do this for anybody, it was very weird — and John [Legend]'s like, 'What the hell are you doing?' And I took her hands and I got down on my knees and I was like, 'Sorry to bother you, My Queen.' Like, who says that?! It was like, m'lady. Like, what do you even — who am I?" Meanwhile, Chrissy said her husband, John, was "bro-fiving" Bey's husband, JAY-Z, which … suffice it to say that might not have made the moment any less hilarious. On the plus side, the bow was not inspired by booze, since Chrissy's pregnant with her second child. "We left early," she said, "because sober GRAMMYs is a different type of GRAMMYs for me."

Angelina Jolie takes all six kids to Paris, proves she has superhuman powers
Angelina Jolie: She's … um … yeah, nothing like us. In the course of one day in Paris on Tuesday, Jan. 30, Angie apparently shot a commercial on the Champs-Elysées for Guerlain perfume, went sight-seeing with her children (all six of whom she brought to France with her), zipped through the Louvre on a two-hour tour with the kids and stopped by the presidential Elysées Palace to discuss French President Emmanuel Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron to discuss issues related to education and violence against women, her recent trip to Jordan and other activities she handles in her role as UNHCR Special Envoy, according to People. On Wednesday, she was slated to be in the Hague, where we assume she'll continue her European tour of under-achievement. Cough.

Lupita Nyong'o opens up about intense boot camp training for 'Black Panther'
If you happened to notice Lupita Nyong'o was looking even more amazing than usual at the "Black Panther" premiere in Los Angeles on Monday, Jan. 29, there's a reason — boot camp. Lupita, who plays Naika in the highly-anticipated new Marvel film, tells E! News she endured six weeks of intensive boot camp training for the role. "I had to get into particularly good shape … to be able to do the stunts — and I loved it," Lupita said. The sessions involved four-hour long training days during which Lupita and other cast members developed their strength, stamina and flexibility. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter in an interview published last week, Lupita said that before filming began the cast would warm up together "then break off and do our individual techniques." For her character, that meant learning jujitsu, capoeira and ring blades as preparation for Naika's street-fighter prowess. "I have dabbled in martial arts all my life, since I was 7, maybe — tae kwon do, capoeira, Muay Thai," Lupita said. "It's always been an interest because in martial arts there is a mind/body relationship. You can't do it right if you're angry; how you can exert your power with a clear mind really interests me." "Black Panther" hits theaters Feb. 16.
Wendy Williams slams Kim Kardashian West, questions her marriage
It's been a rough week for Kim Kardashian West in the ol' court of public opinion. After social media users slammed her for calling her new corn rows "Bo Derek braids," and crediting a white woman with the classic African-American style, Wendy Williams went on a tear on her show on Tuesday, Jan. 30, aimed at the skin-baring photos Kim recently posted on her Instagram. She didn't leave it at the photos themselves though — she told Kim her marriage was failing and suggested the pics were the proof. "Kim it's clear Kanye has nothing for you except dribble and dribble and evil conversation. It is clear that Kanye does not pay attention to you. It's clear to me that you're desperately trying to stay in the spotlight," Wendy said during her "Hot Topics" segment, according to People. "Kanye makes money, Kim makes more, why are you still doing this? It's not even about the mother thing, forget the mother thing, because a lot of people will say, 'Oh, she's a mother.' It's about, she doesn't have to do that anymore. That would be like Cardi B returning to the poll on a Saturday night or something like that. There were a lot of racy pictures; We saw full boob… sure she has a beautiful body, but so what. Between taking filtered selfies and the 25 hours it probably took to braid your hair that way," Wendy continued. She also defended Lindsay Lohan, whom Kim snapped at when Lindsay chimed in on the braids controversy. None of this went unnoticed. Kim posted on Instagram that she would clarify the truth about the "lies" Wendy was telling. "Can't wait til my website is active!" Kim wrote. "I'm gonna do live video streaming so every time someone talks shit I can go blast the f— outta them."
Celebs react to Donald Trump's first State of the Union address
In his first State of the Union address, Donald Trump praised the GOP for its tax cut program, called for more immigration restrictions and a larger nuclear arsenal and took credit for American wealth and various defeats against the Islamic State. As news outlets conducted fact checks on his speech — the gains against ISIS should be credited to an Obama-era strategy, according to USA Today, while other outlets and Democrats pointed to the current successes of Obama's economic policies — celebs reacted to the SOTU on social media on Tuesday, Jan. 30. Conservative actor and producer Clint Eastwood tweeted that the speech was "great," adding, "Bravo!! I am so glad I voted for #Trump #Trump2020 #SOTU #SOTU2018." Other A-listers weren't so positive. "I was told darkness could not exist in the light. But here it is, for everyone to not see," Sarah Silverman posted (via EW). Elizabeth Banks said she couldn't watch it. "I tried. I listened but the amount of BS and stunts and questions raised that will never be answered made me throw my remote and now I am listening to Tom Petty and am a better American for it," she wrote. Jim Carrey shared a handful of pieces of art including one with a weeping Abe Lincoln accompanied by the caption, "It's my party and I'll cry if I want to!" Retweeting a post that read, "Immigrants aren't the problem in this country. Racists are. #SOTU," Gabrielle Union added a series of brown-shaded hand Emojis pointing at the statement. Patton Oswalt was particularly tweety during the speech, posting multiple slams against the president. His first of the night? "Here comes Trump's cabinet. Scientifically this is called a 'goblin picnic' #SOTU."
Michelle Obama explains that awkward Melania Trump box exchange
Remember that moment during the inauguration last year when Melania Trump handed a Michelle Obama a Tiffany & Co. box and Michelle looked momentarily confused before Barack Obama relieved her of it? Turns out that perplexed expression was the former First Lady's response to the fact that she hadn't been prepared to receive a gift from the incoming First Lady. "Well, there's all this protocol. I mean, this is like a state visit, so they tell you that you're going to do this, they're going to stand here. Never before do you get this gift, so I'm sort of like OK …," Michelle explained to Ellen Degeneres this week on "Ellen" (via Us Weekly). She went on to say she remembered wondering, "What am I supposed to do with this gift?" It didn't help matters that she was left to deal with it herself — probably a no-no when you've spent the past eight years having every item within reach screened for your security. "And everyone cleared out and no one would come and take the box. And I'm thinking do we take the picture with [it]?" Michelle recalled. "And then my husband saved the day — see, he grabbed the box and took it back inside. But everybody cleared out. No staff, no one. I was like, 'What do you do with the box?'" What much of the Internet did at the time was use the moment as fodder for memes that suggested, among other things, the box contained Michelle's speech, which Melania appeared to have "borrowed" text from. Michelle being quintessentially classy and graceful Michelle, however, eventually opened it. "It was a lovely frame," she said.
Georgina Chapman's Marchesa NYFW show canceled
The Harvey Weinstein scandal fallout continues. Georgina Chapman, who announced she was leaving her husband in October amid dozens of accounts of his alleged sexual assault and misconduct, has reportedly canceled plans for the Marchesa New York Fashion Week runway show she planned to present on Feb. 14. An insider tells the New York Post that "Georgina couldn't go through with it," adding that "She was too scared" and "choked" at the last minute despite having been "gung-ho" to go through with it initially. A rep for Georgina's brand told the tab, "Marchesa is looking forward to presenting their Fall '18 collection in an updated format this season." The show would have been the first major public appearance for the 41-year-old designer since her ex's allegations began to surface last fall. "My heart breaks for all the women who have suffered tremendous pain because of these unforgivable actions," she told People in October. "I have chosen to leave my husband. Caring for my young children is my first priority and I ask the media for privacy at this time."
Jessica Alba takes a TV break with her new little man
Entrepreneur and actress Jessica Alba is taking a well-deserved break from the board room and camera this month to care for her newborn son, Hayes, who arrived on New Year's Eve. This week, she shared a sweet photo showing the little guy in her arms as she sat back and enjoyed a little tube action. "Tuesdays/all the days w my Hayes #chillin watching @graceandfrankie -I'm on season 4 and I don't want it to end 😫 #bingewatching #graceandfrankie #lovethisshow #newbornmom," she captioned the shot. Even Jamie Dornan gets creeped out when people call him 'Mr. Grey'
Is "Fifty Shades Freed" as sexy as its predecessors? Jamie Dornan isn't sure. He checked in with Ellen DeGeneres this week about the the new film, which Ellen joked her chef walked in on her watching during "a scene that I did not want him to walk in on." Jamie sounded unsure that it was quite as racy as some of the others, though. "Obviously, there's still sex in it. There's people who want to see sex, it seems, so we kept a fair amount [in the movie]. Someone was telling me recently that there's more sex in the third one than the other two, but I don't know. I don't sit there with a timer. So, I don't actually know the answer to that. But, there's definitely a thriller aspect to this one. There's really fun car chases, and someone gets kidnapped. There's a lot happening this time," he mused, according to E! News. Jamie also sounded unsure when Ellen asked if fans are able to separate reality from the big screen when they bum into him in public. "I get a lot fans talking to me as if I am Christian Grey. I'll be in line at Starbucks or something, and someone will be like, 'Oh, Mr. Grey.' I'm literally holding one of my children; they're so confused why they're calling me that," he said. "I get a lot of that sort of thing — saying very specific things from the books or the movies, like some sort of red room reference. I panic. I don't know how to respond to it, because I'm not like him … They probably think I'm just really weird, which I'm fine with."
